The staff was very friendly and helpful. They offered a beverage and an Innsbruck welcome card (for local discounts) at check-in. The room was clean and comfortable with a hotel information card. Breakfast was fresh and delicious with buffet and made-to-order offerings, I highly recommend paying the bit extra to have breakfast included with the room. All of the espresso drinks were made to order (instead of coming from a machine) and were exquisite!

I don't love a shower with no door but that is just a small personal preference detail. I was traveling solo so this wasn't a problem but, the shower is not private at all if there are two people staying in the room.

The hotel has greatly improved its interior since the renovation in 2020 -- it is now entirely remodeled and modernized. The breakfast at 25 EUR p.P. is rather expensive and also an absolutely worthwhile experience. A very nice selection of really good, tasty and creative food! Very much recommended. The location in the very city center is a straight 10-points vote anyway, no doubts on that ;-)

Standard rooms are rather small. Luckily, we had one with a covered patio for some daylight. However, still no windows to open for fresh air. Air quality depends entirely on the functioning of the ventilation.

The hotel is located directly in the middle of the old town. The place is beautifully decorated and the staff is the most helpful, friendly and receptive. The breakfast was a great experience, not only due to the food variety but mostly due to the service. Clean rooms, and very comfortable bed. We had very good nights of sleep.

The experience was great, but a few things would make it even better: - A coffee machine in the bedroom with water, tee, and coffee. - When booking the room we deliberately chose one that said "mountain view", but our room had only a view to the courtyard. Maybe you need to review the description of the rooms in Booking. - The hotel is managed with such a care for the details. It impresses me that nobody had the sensitivity to say no to the human-size golden chinese servent caricature placed at the entrance of the hotel. It is so distasteful.

Our stay at Altstadthotel Weißes Kreuz in Innsbruck was unforgettable. The hotel's prime location next to the Golden Roof and inner city center made it the perfect base for exploring the city. The charming decor added a touch of elegance and warmth to our stay, creating a cozy atmosphere. The lovely staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. A plethora of excellent dining options within walking distance surrounded us. We highly recommend Altstadthotel Weißes Kreuz to anyone seeking a memorable stay in Innsbruck. It's a true gem that combines convenience, beauty, and exceptional hospitality.

Located on a lively street within old town; layout of the hotel room was ingenious; decor was sophisticated; stocked amenities; full-sized shower; comfortable bed; sitting chairs with a table in the room; hip bar on the 6th floor (our room was on the 5th); Starbucks across the street for east morning coffee.

Have to lug suitcases multiple blocks because old town is pedestrian only and parking is difficult; we were woken up super early by garbage trucks and street cleaning equipment. (Extra loud because our window was open, but had it open because it was hot and muggy in the room otherwise.)

Great location in the arcades by the Golden Roof and less than 10 minutes walk from the station. We were welcomed by friendly, helpful staff and because we were early we were given a locker for our luggage. We also enjoyed a complimentary drink at the pleasantly situated bar at the front door which was great in the hot weather. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet and stylishly decorated with a nice patio area. We had no view but for our one night stay that didn't bother us. The hotel's central location is good for nearby bars, restaurants and city attractions.

Linda, the concierge, was especially helpful and very friendly. Her service, attention, and help were top notch. Our room was fantastic and larger than expected, she gave us advice on sights to see. She made our visit enjoyable and memorable. The bar staff at night were also super friendly and provided excellent service. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the middle of old town, but our room was quiet at night as it faced away from the main street.

The staff is just amazing! They have big hearts and always ready to help the guests. I already miss the staffs who say HELLO to you with warm hearts. Linda was superb with the help of making reservations of my train which was a little complicated for me as foreigners. Furthermore, the breakfast is incredibly beautiful and the healthy ingredients are all from the regional farmers! I really liked being at the beautiful Cafe where they serve breakfast. :) Visiting Innsbruck again, I'd definitely come back the hotel!

We had a wonderful stay here. Highlights are the wonderful friendly staff, the excellent varied and high quality breakfast and the wonderful views from the bar that you can enjoy at breakfast. The staff at breakfast were wonderful and could not be more helpful.

Make sure that you are sure that the room layout suits the party that are visiting. Some rooms have the shower and sink as part of the main room. This is not a problem if you know in advance that your party can work around this.

It is an amazing remodel of a very, very old building. It is very, very modern inside, with a few details left from the original. The breakfast was excellent, with a choice of eggs, porridge, and a ham/speck platter that is fantastic!

We had a room in the front, so the noise level was very high, especially on Friday night. The bathroom is quite different with the sink and shower being a part of the room and the toilet in a separate area. It worked out okay, but it made the room even smaller!
