The staff were stars! Absolutely the most welcoming and hospitable I’ve experienced in Austria and some of the finest on all my stays on the continent. Nothing was a problem and questions were answered professionally with a smile every time! The room was fabulous. Spacious, spotless and immaculate. Bed was amazingly comfortable and I slept like a log, especially with the invaluable air conditioning - mid 30C when I stayed. The bathroom was a great size with powerful shower and immaculate again! Breakfast selection was amazing. So much selection of local produce and food to suit every taste. Staff in the breakfast were mega kind and again, nothing was a problem. Location was unbelievably convenient round the corner from the main sights and you could see the River Inn from the room with majestic mountains to top it off!

Everything! The staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming. If you were not happy about something they will go out of their way to try and resolve it. The staff helped you with arranging excursions and translation when required. Excellent location. The rooms were comfortable. The breakfast was out of this world. First class! I did put on a few unwanted pounds but hey it was well worth it! I would definitely stay there again.

There isn't anything significant not to like. I would say bring a laptop for entertainment because the TV programmes were limited and subtitles are sometimes not available.

After hiking for 8 days on the Stubai trail, hotel Maximilan is the treat we expected and desired. The hotel is perfectly located in Innsbruck old town, next to the river. The staff is nice, welcoming and attentive, especially Franchesca at the reception who greeted us with a smile and cared for all our questions and requests. Breakfast is absolutely brilliant (the best I have ever experienced) with a great variety of dishes including fruits (melon, watermelon, mango, strawberry and even exotic fruits such as lychee, Pitaya and more), vegetables, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cheeses, salami, etc. Wifi is good, there is a ski room to dry shoes. The room is cosy, clean and spacious and the bed is comfortable. Bottom line: this hotel exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to treat him/herself with a top-notch hotel at an affordable price

I have to tell that we simply have been over the moon impressed by Lady Isolde. She was one of the most wonderful host that we have ever met during all our stays. She offered us all the help and info we needed, all with a warm smile on her face. The breakfast was amazing, with a nice range of fruits, as well as many other products of good quality, all in a cozy atmosphere. Also, the location was perfect, in the heart of the city, with a walking distance parking. All together, it was a very good experience. And, wait, did I mentioned the wonderful host? :)

Everything was great. Only one thing could have been different, meaning the bathroom. It was a little without intimacy, with the glass walls. But really, this I remembered as a problem only that my kids reminded me of it!

The hotel "Maximilian" is clean and super nice, the hosts of this cozy place are very pleasant, a huge thanks to them. The location of the hotel is wonderful: it is close both to the main railway station and to the all sights. I couldn't even find any cons, because we had everything we would need in the hotel. The mountain view from our room from both windows was fantastic. Our room was equipped with everything we needed and was very clean. I would like to mention the perfect breakfast - we had the room with the breakfast included, and it was really incredible: besides the standard breakfast dishes like omelette, wonderful cheeses and so on, we got a chance to taste exotic fruits, everything was delicious :) I would like to thank the café manager Vita, she is very pleasant and kind and knows every detail we wanted to clarify. To sum up, we had a wonderful time in the hotel, and I am sure during our next visit to Innsbruck we will stay here. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. The beds and linens were comfortable. The towels were amazing and there were plenty of them. We always had plenty of coffee and when we asked for half and half we were given some in a carafe to keep in our fridge. The staff helped arrange a taxi for us and helped us read our train travel and noticed we booked a train ride that wasn’t necessary. We also took advantage of the lounge area enjoying a glass of wine at the end of our day. We would stay here again in a heart beat.

Great location in the old town close to all attractions, helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast, especially the huge selection of fruit. Convenient nearby parking with easy access. Everything perfectly clean and well maintained. I would stay here again.

During our stay the W-Lan (WiFi) did not work. Our room had a quite strange bathroom with glass walls and door. I think rooms with two beds do not have this feature. Room was well maintained and designed, but it was very small.

The Hotel is located near the main attractions of Innsbruck. Very close to the tram and bus stations. Lot of restaurants are close by. The staffs and owners are super friendly and it feels good to be in such a hotel where you are welcomed. The room was clean and ok. We also took the breakfast option and it is also good, only improvement would be offering a bit different menus each day.

Great location. Nice, modern without being harsh and sterile. Check in & out staff very cordial. Room done very nicely with decent space for 3. Bathroom had odd glass wall and door with frosting for some privacy but still seemed exposed. Sink area was small with almost no shelves. Needs more hooks. Shower maybe the best we’ve experienced in Europe. Great water pressure and plenty of room with a half wall of glass and an actual full shower door! Beds & pillows very comfortable. Acceptable closet space and hangers. Useable safe. Wifi good. No luggage racks, only tiny end-tables for 3 people’s bags. Hot water for tea and/or coffee maker would be nice addition. Overall, a very good stay.

Great breakfast, especially the fruits selection. Very good location in the center of the old town. Friendly staff. Nice room (5th floor) and quite a big bathroom, everything was very clean. The air conditioning was working fine. Might be a bit noisy when the window is open, but that is expected when booking a hotel in the town center.

In general I was very satisfied with my stay in this hotel, but if I have to mention some points where to improve then: 1) the bathroom door could be less transparent 2) the WIFI speed could be better 3) the breakfast could perhaps be served a bit longer than until 10:30
