The location was ideal. I would describe The Basic Hotel Innsbruck as rather spare but typically European in style, size, and efficiency. The curb appeal can be a bit off-putting at first; it could probably use some freshening up, though the room was nice, well-appointed, and larger than expected.

Parking wasn't the easiest, but once we figured it out it wasn't horrible, either. The Hotel only controls 8- I think?- spaces on-site, and if those are gone...you are on your own. The good news is that there is a public parking garage a half a block away, but if it is a busy time of year or day...yikes.

The location is perfect if you want to be in the heart of the city and have 1 minute walk to all main highlights of Innsbruck. The room was clean and tidy, also newly renovated, having all we needed for our long weekend stay. It looked exactly as on the photos loaded to Booking. The personnel was friendly from the beginning helping with booking the parking lot in advance.

A little bit noisy (because of the location), but worth it if you spend the whole day sightseeing, hiking etc and just go back to your room for sleeping. In the bathroom it would be nice to have more racks to hang your towels and clothes. But overall a very good hotel for a few days.

Stayed one night. Location is good, about 15 minutes walk from the main train station. Close to the old town, attractions, and the tourist information office. Standard Austrian breakfast in adjoining cafe in the morning was good.

Breakfast area was a bit small, but that wasn't an issue as I got there early. It was a little loud late at night, but I attribute that to having the window open facing the main street on a Saturday night with really great weather near a popular gathering spot for local youth.

Very comfortable bed, good breakfast and friendly staff. Convenient location just a walk away from the city center.

Nothing major. We stayed in a triple room that had a glass door/wall separating the bedroom from the bathroom. It is a small detail but might be good to take into account when booking these type of rooms.

Easy check-in and check-out. Very friendly staff. Central location near many points of interest.

Wi-fi in first floor was not available in some parta of the bedroom. Besides it was not good, couldn’t load search results, so that I had to switch back to mobile internet. Power outlet just at one side of the double-sized bed.

The room was very nice and clean, had everything you will need even more. The bathroom was spacious, had also all what you need. The location is perfect, near the city center, river and near the cable car to the mountains. For sure i will come back. Breakfast was very good and had exactly what you need.

I really liked the setup here - it's quiet and super comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location is ideal. I had a room at the back with a stunning view of the mountains. Breakfast is available in the attached cafe, and it was lovely.

The room is very spacious, and the mountain view is just so gorgeous!!! The breakfast was great too! Good location, short walk to most of the sights, staff were friendly as well.

Maybe the A/C- it kept turning off itself but perhaps we didn't put the setting correctly

The room was clean, the size of the room is good, the location is perfect, the hotel is very well organized, although the breakfast was not included in our booking they have a restaurant wich serves a very good ones! The parking is very convinient

I think that taking into account that in the season of our trip there wasnt a lot of people in the hotel the parking could be a little bit cheaper even free for the guests.
