What a charming place to stay! The cottage was a dream - wood burning fireplace, vaulted ceilings in the bedroom, private canal side garden, lovely courtyard, amazing views. Quiet save the crazy ducks on the canal! Location was perfect on a side street but only blocks from the city center. Take the owner's recommendations on restaurants in the provided book. Our favorite meal of the trip was suggested there. Breakfast was delicious and worth the extra expense. Kind staff. Would absolutely stay again!

If you have mobility issues, the cottage is not for you as the spiral staircases can be tricky. Note that in the cottage the bathroom has a tub with handheld shower - it is not a stand up shower. This wasn't a big deal for us but could be for others.

The room was beautifully quirky - lovely walk out balcony along canal side, big comfortable bed, massive bathroom with walk in rainfall shower and freestanding bath. All very clean and cosy. After a long drive over from England it was v pleasant surprise to find two bottles of local beer in the fridge - which turned out to be complimentary! Very quiet room. Anna met us on arrival and showed us to our room - which was down a v quaint, little alley. The breakfast room and breakfast were very good - all freshly prepared - especially enjoyed the fresh squeezed orange juice. Great location too for walking around the town and all the popular local attractions. Reasonably priced private parking 👍 Will definitely be back - to try one of the other suites.

Paper cover over a small window in the door didn’t stop the bright stairway light shining through and straight onto the bed - a simple piece of board would have worked better. This did not spoil our enjoyment of our stay here tho.

EVERYTHING! We wanted cute, quaint, romantic, quirky, relaxing, old fashioned and different. We weren't disappointed. If you want modern, sparkly, pristine, sterile and soul-less, with floorboards that don't squeak, book one of the big modern hotels, If you have taste, come here.

We booked Cottage Euphrasie and it was just perfect for us, but would not be suitable for people with mobility issues. Book a different room here. The cottage has a large open fire, so you can smell lingering smoke in the air from prior occupants. That meant 'authentic' and 'atmospheric' to us, but if it means 'dirt' to you, book one of the other rooms!

We stayed multiple places over the course of our European vacation and this was our favorite! It was very spacious and fit our needs perfectly. Everything was clean and the overall atmosphere was quiet, peaceful, and very pleasant! The staff was so accommodating and communicated with us before and during our stay. There were so many options for breakfast and it was all delicious! They also left us little treats for us to eat when we got back to the room every evening. The location was a short walk to the grote Markt and was so convenient. On the morning we checked out we were able to keep our luggage at the property so we could do some last-minute sight seeing. I will definitely stay here next time I’m in Brugge! 10/10 recommend.

Loved, loved, loved to stay in this charming B&B in the town centre. I had a little historic cottage right at the canal with three floors, a terrace at the water and a fire place. It's beautifully furnished and very comfortable, the bed is heavenly to sleep in. For breakfast you really get everything you'd want and more. Also the place is just minutes away from the market and the Belfried. Absolutely perfect for a stay in Bruges, can't wait to return.

Would have liked a shower head holder in the bathroom. Given the historic structure of the house, I guess it's quite difficult to install it there.

The stay in this beautiful accommodation was perfect. We traveled with a dog and got a room with direct access to the garden, which was very attentive and perfect. The room is lovely comfortably, at the same time modernly and absolutely stylishly furnished. Daily expect a nice greeting such as beer or cake. The breakfast was brilliant - freshly prepared and exceptionally tasty with good quality ingredients. The shared terrace on the canal invites you to relax and makes the location of the accommodation perfect. A few meters to the most popular places in Bruges. There is a private parking lot that can be booked for 15 euros per night. Summing up: for us one of the best B&B we ever stayed, we will definitly come back :-)

No critic: You should know that one room with direct access to the beautiful terrace is no private terrace. This is no problem, there is place for everyone, but the description of the B&B reads a little differently and it seemed the guests of this room were surprised :-)

Perfect location, on a quiet street but only minutes away from the main square and all the action. Delicious, fresh home cooked breakfast with such a good selection of Chocolates and beer in your room on arrival is SUCH a wonderful touch. Also the chocolates were the best in all of Bruges, and you can purchase them from the owner. Lovely rooms that have been renovated beautifully. very comfy bed, enjoyed the view of the canal from our room.

Nothing at all - it may seem an expensive option but it’s worth the money in comparison to some other options in Bruges!

it’s a magnificent and so cosy place on the canal. We chose a 3 stairs house with a fireplace that was a perfect choice for a Christmas night. Everything was nice : from our warm welcoming at the check-in to a delicious breakfast the next day. The house is just 5 min away from the center square and it’s placed in a very calm and beautiful area (aren’t they all in Bruges anyway?). The sitting room is cute with two comfortable armchairs in front of the lovely fireplace. The view on the canal with a family of ducks swimming around the corner was wonderful. The bathroom on the ground floor is equipped with a large nice bath and everything you need at your stay. The bedroom is very cozy and reminds me of a chalet in the mountains. The bed is enough soft and strong for a good sleep. The breakfast was magical with a large choice : from the fresh fruits and granola to a good English breakfast. We were really happy to stay in such a lovely place. Unfortunately, we could stay just one night, but we’re looking forward to come back.

Beautiful, peaceful, central location. Comfortable bed and clean linens. Lovely touches- chilled beer and truffles on arrival. Most welcome chocolate ganache pastry left in room when we arrived back at the end of a long day walking around the city.

We booked through Booking.Com instead of booking directly with the property owner, so we were unaware that the property was on 3 levels which caused slight access issues. However after the first night we were offered a different room which we chose to decline.

An absolutely unreal experience with my family. The staff were incredible, the property like an historic piece of art from a dream, the room each completely unique and fascinating and the location just steps away from everything you could possibly want. Beds were amazing and the free local beer and nightly chocolates were just an incredible touch. The woman running the breakfast room (the normal lady was on holiday and gave us her home number to text if we needed her hahaha) was so sweet. She showed up for work an hour early to make breakfast and get us a taxi just so we would not travel with an empty stomach! Just incredible.

NOTHING! If you are sensitive to smoke, some of the rooms have a fireplace and there was a strong smell of woodsmoke in the rooms with the fireplace. They warned about the mosquitoes in the evening and were correct! We were glad we didn't have issues. Some of the ceilings are low being a renovated historic building so watch your head if you are over 5'10".
