Great value. I enjoyed the coffee and tea provided. The room had everything I needed including a tiny fridge which kept my beer & chocolate cool. The location with great with a bus stop & restaurants within 5 minutes walking. The guide for buying handmade & locally was an unexpected treat and I was happy for the luggage storage. I'm a mosquito magnet and didn't get a single bite while staying here, but I also kept windows close as instructed.

I liked everything about staying at Zakske 13 Boutique B&B. I would definitely stay there again but I would not want visit Bruges in August as the city center is super crowded this time of year.

Location ,having a lift ,good sized room.The room was also very clean with a comfortable bed Good sized bathroom area .

This property has no Reception and if you arrive in the late afternoon there is noone about which is hard if you arrive in the dark .Its marketed as a BnB but the continental breakfast in a box delivered to your door is an extra €14 per person each day The house manager was amazing as my husband had a medical episode that required him going to the hospital and helped us enormously. Apart from organising breakfast boxes cleaning the rooms helping guests with enquiries and still doing all the laundry in the afternoon from what we could see over our 5 days s is that she definitely needs more support

The hosts were very good at keeping in contact and sent several reminders of how to find the B&B and how to get in. The room (Room 2) was exceptional, large, clean, modern and comfortable. The continental breakfast was dropped off outside the room each morning. I'm pretty sure that it catered for everyone's tastes and there was plenty! Also, breakfast in the room meant not having to get up and dressed to go down to a dining room to eat which we liked as it made for a more chilled start to the day and a longer lie in. The location was actually closer to the centre than anticipated and an easy 5 mins walk. Although there are obviously many places to eat in Brugges, along the route into the centre, there is an Italian restaurant, Osteria 45, which we ate at and were very happy with the quality of the food and would highly recommend. If like us you prefer to drink bottled water then literally around the corner from the B&B, there was a tiny shop selling bottles of water and milk, which we preferred instead of the powdered creamer for coffee in the room. There was a little fridge in the room so the milk stayed fresh for the whole of our stay. Just for ease we took a taxi from the station when we arrived and it was €10. On the way back, we decided to walk. It was an easy to follow route on Google Maps and took 26 mins. Overall the experience was 100% positive and we would definitely stay here again.

Not a complaint, just a suggestion, if breakfast is to be eaten in the room, then we felt that a little table and chairs to eat at would have been much easier than on the small chairs and eating off our knees.

The location was great for discovering the city. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hosts sent a nice message with all the necessary information plus tips on where to eat. We parked in the closest underground parking which was a bit pricey but worth it. The breakfast came in a box so I didn't expect much, but it turned out to be fresh and delicious, a pleasant surprise. The bed was comfortable and there was a good choice of pillows.

The instructions for the television (Netflix) didn't match the remote but we quickly figured it out. We were there to discover the city and not watch TV anyway. One single mosquito bothered us at night but there was plug-in insect repellent provided.

The location was great - just a short walk to the centre of the old town. The room and bathroom were of a good size. The bed was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend. Lots of useful information was provided via the booking.com app leading up to the stay as there were no staff on site full-time. Thank you for making our few days in Bruges so lovely!

There was no fridge in the room so you couldn’t keep any milk for tea/coffee in your room. That being said, there was a fridge provided in the kitchenette which was on the first floor of the building so this helped.

Great location for us, far enough out of the tourist trap on a very pretty road and a short walk to the main square. Easy access to the property. The room was clean, a large comfortable bed and the pillows were great. We thought we had a breakfast box included in our stay as the place is a B&B but having not received it the first morning and asking why we were told we had to add this as extra. The next morning we provided with a free box and it was fantastic. Super filling and lots of delicious things.

It was the first time I met a Self Service hotel in my life. The hotel is ok, good room, clean, spacious, good bathrooms etc...only the location makes you to walk a little bit to reach the mais attractions, but as the city is not so big and so beatiful, worths the walking time. Even the experience of not having contact with no one at the hotel, (you never meet anyone) and even the included breakfast came in a big paper box (see photos), it was a very interesting experience. They have a cooke/tea appliance at the room, and some good welcome chocolate, candies, etc.. The internet was good also. In general I recommend this if you don't mind to walk a bit more.

just a tip: when arriving by train, take a taxi or uber to get there, is a bit far from the station by walking with luggage in a medieval city where the streets are paved with stones.

Location was great. Next to a cute bridge and only 8 min walk from the main square in the old town. During our stay we felt that everything was within 10 min distance from the location. We had a great view over a cute quiet street. The room was very well equipped with everything you can imagine and even some nice extras that we really appreciated: small waffels, very handy guide books for Brugge, beer glasses for that one last chill drink in the room. Even though we haven't met anyone during our stay we have got really good information along the way and communication with the host was great

This is a great base from which to explore Bruges. It's quiet, clean, the bed is super comfortable and the breakfast is really generous (perhaps a little too generous unless you're ravenous! There are pastries, bread rolls, ham, cheese, jam, honey, yoghurt, fruit and even boiled eggs!). Just a short 8 min walk along lovely streets to the market square. Very easy to get in using clear instructions. There's a luggage room too. Highly recommend. We were a group of 5 friends and we shared 3 doubles. Thanks for a great stay!

Location: Proximity to the centre. The room was a good size. Huge bathroom. The Zakske team, especially Erin were exceptional. They provided an electronic mosquito repellant. We would stay there again.

The small fan we had didn't work as well we would like. It was unseasonably warm during our stay and leaving the windows open was not an option as the majority of tourist accommodations in Bruges are near a canal and those pesky mosquitos.
