We were made to feel very welcome from the outset. The staff were very helpful, the hotel felt spacious and was immaculate. We made good use of the terrace to relax and also to have a very good breakfast. The room was large and very comfortable. The location is great in terms of being close enough (15min walk) to the centre but not in any noisy area. In the other direction we could easily walk to the European parliament and beyond to the Parc du Cinquantenaire.

Nothing - everything met or exceeded expectations.

Cleanliness of the room and the hotel in general. I appreciated as well the quiet and comfortable room. The bathroom was well equipped with all needed stuff. Very nice living space separated by the bed room. Happy to come again and take the breakfast as this time I couldn’t.

The water wasn’t offered and I paid 6 euro for a bottle of water. In majority of other hotels even those belonging to the same chain the water was offered but in this one. I found it weird and unexpected.

they surpassed my expectations on all fronts! a true 5 star hotel which leads by example, starting from their impeccable customer service and hospitality through to high standards of comfort and luxury touches. nowadays I feel because there are so many options for hotels, hoteliers have stopped putting the effort to go that extra mile. Stanhope has changed that for me: all of the hotel staff are genuinely nice, friendly and polite. it appeared as though they want to have their guests be happy rather than have to make their guests happy. the rooms are a sheer delight, spacious and has everything you need! it’s worth every penny. also Louise street is 8 min walking distance with plenty of bars/cafes around! favorite hotel for the decade!

I can’t fault them. they even had a fruit basket by the elevator!!!

There was 24/7 room service, so when we got in from a conference at 11pm we could order food, which was such a relief. The food was exceptional! The location is very central; just a 5 min walk from the Parc Royal, and a very short bus ride from Grand Place. The area is lovely and quiet in the evenings too, so we slept very well. We were able to leave our bags at the hotel before check-in (2pm) and after check-out (12 noon) whilst we explored the city. The rooms are spacious, clean, nicely decorated and have all the amenities we could have asked for. We had forgotten to bring a European travel adapter, but the kind staff at reception were able to let us borrow one for a small deposit. We had a great stay!

Breakfast was a little pricey, but it was delicious. I would have liked more Belgian food represented at breakfast though, I love to try local food when I'm away. There were made-to-order waffles available though, so I definitely can't complain.

Best Hôtel in Brussels, amazing staff with individual rooms, beautifully decorated and appointed. Such complete attention to detail and everything you could ask for in the Heart of Europe's Capital.

Dinner menu is a little limited in range. However very good quality and of course many great restaurant close by.

The hotel is really beautiful, we loved our suite and the bar area as well. The breakfast was very good, served in the restaurant and with a really good buffet selection. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Brussels.

The restaurant was closed (could be because the hotel seemed quite quiet) which we did not realise before we arrived, but we could get room service so not a big issue for us. There are not many bars or restaurants in the area that are open at the weekend. It is a little far from the centre which we did not mind at all but could be an issue for some.

The whole hotel is very nicely furnished. Nice large bathroom with nice toiletries, room not huge but had everything I needed. Very clean, good soundproofing from other rooms. Staff were very professional and helpful.

Bed a little too soft for my preference. Location decent but not the easiest to get to from one of the main train stations.

The hotel is splendid, comfortable and elegant. The staff is diligent and kind. It's located in a commercial district but very near to a neighborhood with lots of restaurants and cafés. Room is very spacious and comfortable. All the amenities are splendid as well.

Breakfast is overrated and pricey. The tub didn't have good water pressure, it's difficult to have a shower with a light stream of water. Also, one of the blinds fell during the night, and reported it in the morning but nobody went to our room to fix it. The staff was very sorry about this, though.

Very conveniently located and the room was nice. The bed was very comfortable. The gym also had a sauna. The staff was also very friendly and super helpful.

Nothing to complain about really. I guess there could have been more fresh fruits available for breakfast beyond grapefruit and watermelon.

It is not that we didn't like, it just could be a bit better - the bathroom or more precise the shower could be a bit bigger and more comfortable for use. It needs some practice to set the right water temperature.
