Very happy with the standard of the room and hotel in general. Location is fantastic just off the main square, perfect for access to restaurants and bars. Staff were very cheerful and helpful whenever approached.

My only concern for some with this hotel would the parking situation. The hotel doesn't have its own parking. The staff were very helpful and told me where there was free parking with no time limits but some may have an issue with this due to the distance to the hotel. There is chargeable parking more local but this is time limited during the day. This wasn't an issue for me during my stay but please be aware if mobility is an issue for yourself.

Been to Hotel Rose on three occasions now . Its just great for walking around Brugge as near the Square.Ground floor ,room 51 was ideal as have been to the top floor on one occasion as its hard work with luggage ! Parking is dodgy near the Hotel , and expensive to use Meters even if you do find a space. Use one of the underground Parking spaces . Hotel Rose Bar and restaurant were very busy for both nights we were there .

The small restaurant and bar were too busy to use and we could not even get a table for A Meal as fully booked. Pillows were awful , what is the cost of a pillow? and the Duvet in February was too thin , no blankets in the room either. Parking is always a problem . They added a tax on my booking which I Knew nothing of , so it became an expensive room as had to pay for the breakfast too.

The reception lady was great and explained how the street parking worked so no fines!! English was good. The location is terrific, just 50 yards from the main square and a 5 minute walk to the Menen Gate. There were tea & coffee facilities in the room. The room & bathroom were perfectly serviceable & clean but were in serious need of refurbishment. Breakfast was typically "continental" but had plenty of choices. Value for money on a budget hotel.

I couldn't get the A/C to work and the lid on the kettle wouldn't stay closed, but these were minor issues. Room & bathroom needed redecorating and refurbishment.

Central location, side street off the main square - brilliant! Parking was free in the market square until 0800 in the morning then cars had to be moved as the market was set up. Not a great problem. Rooms were fine, ideal for 2 people, bathroom not cramped. Breakfast was in a communal area (it seemed to be aimed at larger "Youth Hostel" and School visor types) but everything was clean and the food good quality. reception staff very helpful and friendly.

A lot of people come in and out of the hotel...not a problem, but a couple of our party had people trying to get into their rooms saying they had "made a mistake". Might be an idea to tighten up on internal security? This is not meant as a criticism on the staff but just an overall observation.

Lovely hotel located right in the city centre of Ypres/Ieper - walking distance from the Railway Station (10m), and within 5 minute worth of leisurely walk from pretty much every point of interest in Ypres. We arrived late, so the hotel staff left the key for us. The room was very clean and well-stocked. We enjoyed a nice view over the central square of Ypres. The bed was comfy, we slept well. The breakfast was correct - nothing extraordinary, but we were well set up for a day. All in all - highly recommended, great value for money - and we're definitely looking to stay here during our next visit to Ypres.

We strongly suggest adding hand soap (maybe as a dispenser?). Otherwise no complaints whatsoever.

This hotel is fantastic! Everything about it is perfect. Everything! Powerful shower, big room, incredible giant bed, fridge, coffee and a wonderful breakfast. The staff are also absolutely wonderful, helpful and kind. I’ll go back every year now. Hooked!

There is absolutely nothing to dislike! Oh, apart from the Pizza shop staff next door, smoking dope at night, and it wafts in with you when you go in the front door. They’re ok though, not a threat.

exceptional location in Ypres, arguably can't be more central, really quiet room, basic & compact but we didn't spend much time in the room as on holiday. bonus great spread & choices for breakfast, more than we'd expected & fresh local breads irresistible. staff were really friendly, accommodating & efficient in replying to questions/queries.

for the price & rating of the hotel there really isn't anything I could think of to advise to improve, some budget hotels needs a bit of TLC sometimes but this one was in good repair & maintenance too. No criticisms at all & we intend to return.

Firsty i would recommend the basic ,very clean and great location just off tht main square . But the toilet in room had no soap and we asked for some but she said they had none but use the shower gel thought that was a bit funny .Then we had shower which was in the bath whicj is fine but it had no slip mat in bath or no rips on the end of bath think ypu cpukd easily slip fall in it over all I we were satisfed with Hotel

Hotel is just off the main market square so its in a really great location for sightseeing and the city. Check-in was easy and smooth and the staff were really helpful and friendly! The room was a good size and the bathroom was bigger than i expected and the bonus with the room was the AC unit! Breakfast was really nice, good selection of hot and cold food plus pastries and the coffee was really good to! Overall a really good nights stay both for the location and good value for money.

Don't really have any complaints or dislikes with this hotel. Parking is a bit hit or miss but it is in the city centre so that is to be expected...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel O Ieper. Lovely friendly lady on reception. My sister and I were lucky enough to have 2 rooms facing the main square, so a fantastic view. The rooms were basic, but clean with very comfy beds. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and fine to set you up for the day. All in all, we were really pleased with our choice, great value for money, with an unbeatable location. Thanks to the lady on reception who was so friendly and helpful.

One of our rooms was extremely hot, and the A/C didn't work. But that really didn't spoil our enjoyment at all.
