Really lovely location, no private parking but never struggled to find on street parking. The accommodation was bright, clean & modern, in a beautiful old building, we were a family of 6 so had the whole place to ourselves. Breakfast is laid out for you each morning (in your kitchen) and had a lovely selection of continental foods and access to the coffee machine all day. The two top bedrooms share a bathroom and the bottom bedroom has its own bathroom. Both have nice hot shower. The owners are lovely and speak really good English and are very helpful.

There are lots of stairs, so if you struggle or planning to get drunk probably not for you.

Location was a short walk to town center. We had the whole building. Ypres was charming with so much interesting history. We stopped here for a couple of days traveling from Paris to London and wished we had more time. Breakfast included plenty of cheese, cold cuts, eggs and fresh fruit. Wi-fi was excellent. My grandkids loved the place. Parking right in front of the building for our big van for 7 was easy and convenient. The evening Memorial ceremony in town is worth the walk and there are many delightful resturants in the town center.

Location is perfect - about 10 mins walk from the Menin Gate with plenty of shops and cafes etc along the way. The town is lovely. Parking - I'm still a little unclear on the parking situation. We parked right outside and understand it's free over night until 9am. We were given a disk but I'm not sure how long that would give us. I think it's only 2 hours free. The owner kindly put another disk in our window I assume because were were slightly longer than 2 hours. But I'm a bit unclear. You can always park in the square around the corner which may or not be metered? There was a fabulous brand new kitchen with oven, fridge, micro, kettle, tea, coffee etc which was available to use. We ended up cooking a simple meal in the microwave which saved us a lot of money and hassle. Beds super comfy and all very clean. As others have said, you have to go down 1.5 floors to the bathroom but that was OK with us but if you have small kids or are not too mobile, it could be an issue. The ladies who checked us in were lovely and extremely helpful.

Be aware that we booked the upper floor 'family room' for our family of 4, however, although the pictures show a twin room and a double, it's actually 2 doubles. This presented us with a problem as our boy and girl aged 16 and 18 require separate beds. The owners were very helpful and provided a camp bed, but it wasn't really suitable and our daughter didn't get much sleep. They did their best and I'm grateful but other families should be aware.

Wonderful place to stay right in the centre, free parking always a bonus, (the host gave us a blue pass to use) easy access to gain entry. The rooms were warm and spacious, bed was exceptionally comfy, did not want to get out of it. Kitchen facilities to use if required and it was a nice touch with tea/coffee supplies all complementary , breakfast was continental -plentiful ..shared bathroom was spacious and very good shower. The whole place was immaculately clean ,host was friendly and welcoming. Couldn't of asked for a better place to stay..thank you for your hospitality...😁 We will definitely stay again if in the area.

Nothing much really, the front door when locking up was a little difficult to get the key out. Perseverance won the day 👍

Close to town centre - fairly quiet (some street noise but not disruptive at all) - comfortable bed - rooms are good size. Breakfast has good variety and is plentiful. Street parking is free with the parking card the host, Maria supplies - and Maria even changes the parking card times for you to keep things legal as you are off touring. Coffee and tea always available in the breakfast room.

If you have upper floor bedrooms, your private washroom is two floors down. It's odd, but not overly inconvenient.

The B&B is a max 10-minute walk to the town centre. We only spent one weekday night here and the street was quiet with plenty of parking space. Just be aware that you can only park there for free after 7pm in the evening (and probably on Sundays and public holidays). Inge offers a strong breakfast that will keep you going the whole day. The whole building was extremely clean and I think was newly renovated. The room is large and equipped with an open closet and a complimentary coffee/tea. The bathroom is also quite large. Because there were no other guests, we had it to ourselves but it is otherwise shared.

There is no wc/sink/bathroom upstairs where the room was. We had to go 1.5 floors down to use the bathroom, which is a bit inconvenient in the middle of the night but was not too big a deal for us.

Easy key collection from the owner who lived just a few doors away. The building was clean and modern with good facilities. Bathroom (not en-suite) was clean with an assortment of shower gels, shampoos etc and clean towels and was for our sole usage as the other room on our floor was vacant. Hot drinks available to make in the kitchen. With kettle and cups in the room. Also complimentary bottles of water on arrival in the room. Continental Breakfast was served at our choice of time in the dining room off the kitchen, with ham, cheese, boiled eggs, croissants, yoghurt, bread, cereal tea & coffee for us to help ourselves.

Not sure it could have been any better, especially for the great vfm price.

Lovely spot really close to town. Its on the top floor and has big windows you could throw open in the morning. It was spotlessly clean and the large breakfast spread in the morning was a pleasant surprise! The staff/owners were super helpful and helped us find a parking space and checking we had everything we need. Has a large kitchen and living area downstairs. Would definitely stay here again.

The toilet was down 2 floors which wasn't ideal if you need the loo in the night but it was fine for us but might be an issue if you have mobility issues (and the room is on the top floor so again, if you struggle with stairs it wouldn't be a great fit for you). Hard to find anything wrong. Arrival was a little confusing - The hosts live next door and the sign to tell you that was in French. If you get confused, the place is the one with the beautiful wooden window frames and you knock on the place next door to your left. All really small niggles though - the place was great for us.

What a find ! - Decided to book a night in Ypres and change our plans for the return to the UK. We were a family of 3 and booked online, we were blown away by the space we were given (2 Double Attic rooms and a seperate bathroom / toilet on the floor below). We had everything we needed - Cable TV in each room, Wifi and tea / coffee facilities - the bathroom had loadsof towels for us to use, a hairdyer and a selection of toiletries if you had managed to forget anything). Breakfast was great - continental and more than enough choice (Loved the fact that there was little waste too) Location........ Turn left out of the front door, walk about 5/10 minutes down the road and you are in the main square, a further 5 mins and you are at the Menin Gate. The roads are quiet and flat, so it is a really easy walk (There are quite a few bars and coffee shops on the way back to so it is really easy to get delayed)

I really can't fault anything ...... maybe a little more milk for tea / coffee but honestly, that is all

service and staff were very good. very clean and spacious. Breakfast was lovely, continental with lots of choices. About a ten minute walk from the centre.

we did get parking almost outside the property but it could be an issue in high season. The local council obviously allowed a kindergarten school plan the road system, I am assuming there is a system? Major traffic jams especially at peak hours.
