Hotel Fi'Lin in Machelen is within a short car ride from the Brussels International airport, about 10-15 minutes. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel that takes you straight to the airport, which is very convenient, and the ride costs only 2.50 Euros. The room was extra spacious, with a large bed and confortable living space/bathroom. The staff was extremely helpful and responive to my questions about the parking and accomidations. My flight was delayed by 5 hours and I didn't arrive to the hotel until 1am in the morning. The hotel staff was exceptionally helpful on a short notice and provided an easy access to my room after a late arrival. Happy with my stay.

We arrived straight from the airport, much too early to check in, wanting just to drop our suitcases and leave, but it turned out that our room was almost ready and we could actually take a nap before heading off to the city. Everyone was super accomodating, the room was large and comfortable, and we found the bus stop just a few steps away. The hotel is only 10 minutes away from the airport by taxi but if you want to use public transit, it takes 40-60 minutes to arrive at the train station. If you're pressed for time, I recommend sticking to cars. The bus ride through Brussels is very enjoyable, though!

I have nothing bad to say about this place. I'm very happy with my stay and I'll gladly come back whenever I need to stay close to the Brussels airport!

The hotel is modern and very well appointed located in a quiet town just a couple of miles from the Airport. Run by the owner who is a nice guy, very approachable and helpful. He created the place during Pandemic and took his time resulting in a super establishment with some great features.

Not an issue with the hotel but most of the eating/drinking establishments in the town don't open on Mondays. Any other time it appears to be reasonably well served. I will ensure I am prepared for future visits.

We feel very lucky to have stayed in this stunning hotel and are sadly checking out today. The owner was a lovely man who showed us incredible hospitality and kindness during our stay for our honeymoon. The location was excellent with restaurants, a bar, bakery and a couple of chemists within a street or two away, all set in a very quaint and beautiful little village. Fantastic views of the church which was situated next door. The bakery across the street (edelweiss) is also a must visit!! The bedrooms are filled with thoughtful touches and amazing attention to detail. It was the best continental breakfast we have ever had and we wouldn’t have changed a thing about our stay. By far the biggest asset to this hotel is the owner who is so friendly, personable and thoughtful, he even bought us a beer when he saw us in the local bar!! It was like staying with a long lost friend and we loved our stay. Thank you again for having us.

The breakfast is very various and rich. The location is good, and also has 3 parking spots (make sure you check availability prior) Good amenities and clean. Room with code access.

The bathroom door is on a slider/glider. Thus is not really tight to the frame ( don't know how to put it but you can hear everything from your bathroom, which is not a problem for a family, but for a couple at beginning of relationship might feel awkward. to hear the farts and dumps)

We have stayed in this Hotel over the weekend for our belgium trip, the people are really accomodating and kind. They really care about their customers, my husband has celiac disease, so he isn't allowed to eat gluten. They noticed that as I mentioned it in the conversation about eating in brussels and without us even asking or thinking about it, the next morning they bought gluten-free bread just for him. Also at the breakfast they go around the tables and asks everyone if they would like omelette or scrambled eggs freshly made, that was a highlight as well. The Hotel has only 9 rooms, so it is not overcrowded in any way. The rooms are very clean, tidy and the area is safe. They even have really good AC in the rooms. The only thing I found that could be bothering for some people, is that it is only a few kilometers away from the airport, so a few times a day, planes fly over. Not too bad in my opinion, but I think this might be important information for some people. So once again, thank you guys very much, we had a wonderful stay and will be back next year!

This is a modernized hotel in an older building. Room was large, as was the TV, and I could sign-in to my own Netflix account. Bed was very comfortable. Parking was free,

If you stay outside of the city center, then room are cheaper. But then it is a 45 minute bus ride into the city center. A good thing is that the bus stop is a 2-minute walk.

The room was clean and everything in place. The staff were cordial, particularly the well-spoken pretty lady who cleaned the room. Last but not least, the staff were kind and flexible, notably with checking in and checking out schedules.100%.

All good at a high price??. The surroundings on the tranquil side, a pop opposite, and a church around the corner!!!!

Evetything great care and thought has gone into the creation of the Hotel. Everything you could need is in the room, air co, silent fridge, laminate flooring, large screen tv with satilite channels, free wifi, touch pad door entry, beautifully equipped bathrooms including great toiletries,shower cap, shampoo, conditionet shower gel & body lotion 2 sets each , modern coffee pod machine, large kettle along with selection of teas, hot chocolate and coffee and complimentary water, then you have a beautiful garden an terrace with lots of areas to sit snd enjoy a drink from the bar also lovely loungers beside outdoor pool We asked the owner to book taxi in the morning to airport he said yes no problem soon after went down for a drink and he said i will take you to airport myself ! Defo going extra mile very lovely gentleman on chatting told us had been open 8 months and hotel was formerly a doctors and apart from the cleaning done everything else so after dropping us at airport was straight back make breakfasts tbe little extra touches around this gem are second to none again owmer when i asked if there was anywhere around to get a snack said was couple of places or he could make us a pizza there isnt food except breakfast and seen board fot coffee and cake so again extra mile with offet of pizza either his own personal food or i think it may be he keeps some pizzas in case like us arrive late and shops are closed which i find so thoughtful. I would love to return and stay bit longer looks to be a lot of work going on in area and kind of regeneration. I wish owner of hotel great success for future and thank for lovely stay and hospitality see you in the future.

Liked everything dont tend to pick smaller hotels but we were just in Brussels for stopover flight arrived around 9pm and had to sadly leave again for flight at 7am.

Small, homely and good value hotel with large, recently renovated rooms and helpful staff. A place with character in an actual town where there are bars, restaurants and shops which is a great alternative to the bland, chain hotels in business parks around the airport. Bus to airport stops right outside the front door. Would stay again.

All good, no complaints.
