Very accessible to reach the airport and hotel as long as you stick to scheduled time for the shuttle provided by the hotel. The room was exceptional as it exceeded my expectations. Though we booked 2 rooms, we were given adjoining room where we can pass through the side door to check our children, can also leave the door open and we felt like we were just in our own house, we can just transfer anytime and likewise for the children. Wish other hotels are like this.

Can't stay out late in the city once you missed the shuttle bus going back to the hotel you will pay taxi +/- 20 though it was mentioned in information provided.

Cleanliness, staff and location

The shuttle for the airport usually (or exceptionally, I don’t know) starts at 6 o’clock in the morning. For early departures, you should make it with a taxi. Price : 15€ for 1.5 kilometer ! The most expensive one in my entire life.

I stayed there one night before an early flight. The hotel is 5min drive from Zaventem airport and it has a free shuttle bus every 30min (20min during weekends and it starts at 4am during the summer). The hotel is super clean, very efficient and the room has everything you need. Rooms are big so it's convenient if you have many suitcases. There is a bar and a restaurant which seemed ok (nice service but I only ordered a drink).

The price is high : breakfast is 24€ and normal rate for a night is about 250€, but I got a 100€ discount on booking with the non-refund option. The TV is a bit dated and aside from Euronews, VRT and RTBF there were no other channel and no possibility to mirror my device to the TV.

The food served at the restaurant was surprisingly good quality, not a typical situation at a chain hotel. Clearly you have an excellent chef. All staff was friendly and professional. I would really recommend visitors to try the restaurant. I saw several other people's servings, and they looked equallly tasty.

Prices of some alcoholic beverages (e.g. some beers) were a bit exaggerated. Whether or not I would have another drink was influenced by this fact. As a business you would do much better selling a second (or more) drink, but at a more reasonable price. After all, most of your customers (like me) are "stranded" and have little choice than to stay overnight; most are a bit bored and -I bet- most would have another drink... unless prices are a bit ... well .. exaggerated.

The regular shuttle to and from the airport is a great bonus. It is slightly difficult to find the airport pickup point (zone E) if you don't know where to look. Turn right when you exit the door on Level 0, and leave the covered area – the Novotel pickup is the last when proceeding from the airport. The room was very clean and comfortable, with both a bath and a shower. We also liked the fact that the windows could be opened. Breakfast was excellent: plentiful and varied; definitely worth the extra cost.

The lift is very small, and there is no actual wardrobe in the room – only an open hanging space. This is no problem for a one-night stay, but may be a slight discomfort for longer visits.

The shuttle was excellent. The price was more reasonable than other nearby hotels. The hotel accommodated my family in a short period of time given that we were in transit. We were able to get the rest we needed before catching our next flight, and as such, were able to check-in and check-out accordingly. The staff member at the restaurant who welcomed us was very helpful, kind, and made us feel right at home.

The rooms are slightly run-down, but overall the comfort level was very good.

The room was clean and comfortable, the price was reasonable, and it was close (by car) to the airport. Would recommend as an airport hotel!

Paying for the parking seemed harder than it should've been. We paid upon check-in, and the receptionist scanned our parking ticket, but that didn't seem to actually do anything since the machine didn't detect us as having paid when we tried to leave. It took only a few minutes to resolve, but it was the first time we've had something like that happen.

We had to plan for a last moment accommodation as our flight got canceled from Brussels. I feel lucky to have found a family room at Novotel at the very last moment. We needed to catch an early morning flight, so this hotel made perfect sense. Free shuttle to airport is a big plus and it runs every 20 minutes from 4am, which we took. Complementary breakfast is included, though we couldn't avail that as it starts at 6am. All in all, a comfortable stay near the airport when you need it most!

There's not much of an option for food around the area. Luckily the hotel has a bar/ restaurant with limited menu and an option for buffet too.

I was expecting a simple airport hotel like we have here in the States. This was much better. The hotel itself had a decent restaurant and served breakfast, there was a bar, and the airport shuttle was every 30 minutes from 6am to 10pm. It even had a cute outdoor area for kids to play or to just enjoy nature. The room itself was very clean and cozy. The bed was amazing! The bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub. The room even had windows that opened onto the outdoor area so that you could get a fresh breeze.

For staying one night, as a layover before my flight, I can't think of anything. If I was staying longer I think my complaint would be that it is not really close to much.

We could check in already at 10:30 am so we could already leave our luggage. The hotel is only 5 minutes from the airport using their own shuttle bus. Breakfast is good, we just missed a choice of eggs.

The price was rather high at 177 euros for 1 night. The bar was already closed at 10:30 pm but the town of Zaventem is only a 10 minutes walk. The breakfast was good by continental standards but there was no option to order for example sunny side up eggs.
