clean, stylish, nice, really good breakfast, big room and bedroom

we asked via booking chat with hotel about two bathrobes, hotel confirmed that for free, but it was just not provided, so they just forgot about it

A lot of choice for breakfast, fresh bread, croissants, pastries, cereal, egg, bacon, pancakes, it was all there. There were also juices to choose from. The room was big and had high ceilings, making it even look bigger. The bed was comfortable imo but maybe a bit hard for someone lighter. The building was magnificent and has a interesting history. The staff was very very helpful in terms of recommendations and just nice to talk to. The area surprised me. The area surrounding the hotel is very quiet and green. I also like the ASIAT park very much which was just above the city of Vilvoorde. This park is modern and is located in and around old industry buildings, making it very nice to explore. There is a nice bar in the middle of the park.

There is no restaurant in the hotel. Therefore the hotel is rated 3 stars only, because the look and feel is certainly a 4 star hotel. So we had to take dinner elsewhere.

Room was a really good size and clean, free cold water in the fridge, Wi-Fi was also good, Large comfortable bed, Because this was originally a prison, they have kept the theme throughout, a very interesting hotel.

Because we were working in the area, we needed to be on site at 07:00 unfortunately, Breakfast is at 08:00 over the weekend, there was 1 day that our rooms were not serviced, It wasn't a problem other than not having fresh water, I returned down stairs and was supplied some, so no big issue.

Breakfast included in price. However, coffee should be free during the day as no facilities in rooms, maybe on a token system to avoid excessive use. Also, as this hotel is used in conjunction with local hospital, it may be an idea to offer some food items, for instance soup or sandwiches etc. While appreciate building is old and all that goes with this, sometimes, upon entry to rooms it is possible to get a smell of sewerage

Atmosphere and the location was good but quie. Being close to the train and bus station makes this hotel more attractive. Most importantly, there was a diverse range of breakfast which was delicious and fresh.

Comfort of the bed and the pillows was really bad for sleeping tightly and the room ha a bad smell which we couldn’t identify.

the breakfast was great! really enjoyed it. feedback from the others were also positive! also the staff was very friendly and hospitable.

the rooms were a bit dirty and marks could be seen (doors, walls, carpet). Nothing major though! Unfortunately, some rooms do not have A/C.

The room was very pretty and comfortable. I like the sober and minimalist atmosphere. Staff was nice and friendly with good command of English and able to answer all of our questions.

Just some small details, nothing really bad. There was an unpleasant smell in the hallways. Maybe moist? and the pillows were too soft. For the rest, the stay was very pleasant.

Unique building (old prison). Rooms are minimalistic but spacious and clean... Everything you need. Breakfast was really good. It was very busy at breakfast, so sometimes there weren't enough cups, plates or cutlery, but the friendly staff did all their best to keep the inconvenience to an absolute minimum!

One pity thing: in the corridors some painting/maintenance needs to be done.

The entire hotel was outstanding.the staffs were so friendly and nice and the variety of their breakfast was awesome.Theres a plenty of space for your car to park and kids friendly.

I like everything. There was no such things to hate about the hotel...

Breakfast is served in the lobby, lots of choices of food are served on the buffet

Due to road works lasting for months, it's difficult to find the right way to reach the hotel. Some signs on the road indicating the correct directions would be appreciated
