The hotel was in a great location only a couple of minutes walk to the main square which had a variety of bars, restaurants etc. The hotel had good parking facilities, the gentleman on reception was friendly and helpful so a really good check in experience. They don’t have a bar as such but there are bottled drinks available in reception area as well as hot drinks etc and free cake! The room was clean and comfortable, not large but exactly what you expect from a hotel in this price bracket,ours was on the second floor and was very quiet. The breakfast cost 16 euros and is highly recommended, there was a large choice of the usual continental buffet favourites but it was the fresh and home made items which really made it stand out from the usual in addition you could have eggs and bacon freshly made to order, not something you see a lot of these days. So the hotel scores 10 because the room was good, the staff were really friendly, many thanks to the lady who served breakfast, the breakfast was exceptional, location was great and we slept well!

The breakfast exceeds your expectations and is so complete ! a variety of several local delicious breads, pastries and cold meats, juices and hot drinks. This place is managed by real professionals who understand customer service and hospitality! A complimentary safe and very accessible parking ! Thank you Erik and Carol for the outstanding and best stay ! Very high recommended !

The location of this family hotel is in the centre of Tienen, where the Xmas market was ongoing. The hotel has a good parking space and nice entry. No parking on the street. I stayed in room 34 on the 3rd floor, which is for a single person ok. Two persons stay are not recommended in this room. No noise or lights from the street enters the room. The double persons bedroom is more like a bed-cave and has no windows. The heating of the room is good. The bathroom is of good space and clean. Breakfast at first I was choked on the costs, but the amount of buffet offerings and choices is a lot. I would choice the hotel again for my business trip.

For a family hotel of good standard. Nothing I didn't like.

Very comfortable and clean apartment. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 1 toddler. Nicely equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

One minor detail: we (and other guests) couldn't locate the staff when we wanted to check out. We just left our keycard on the reception desk, everything worked out in the end. Otherwise no negative comments.

In a nice little town just off the motorway, large apartment, two separate bedrooms, coffee machine with coffee, huge bathroom with huge shower and bath, terrace and brilliantly comfortable beds.

one minor thing, would be great to have a night light socket in the room with 2 beds for the children

The staff was very helpful and the apartment is spacious and clean .The bed was comfortable.we definitely will visit again if we come back to Belgium.

Everything was good it would be pig have the microwave.But not the big deal kitchen have quite complete equipment provided by the owner.

I regularly stay at the Alpha for work and really like it. It doesn’t have the charm and prestige of the Kronacker but I prefer the Alpha. Beds are better in my opinion, rooms are clean and modern, breakfast is amazing, there is a parking available and service is impeccable :-)

the apartment is wonderful, is perfect for families. The gentleman is very friendly. nothing to complaint. the parking for the car is very good. I forgot a bag in the apartment with some important items and they call me to inform about that. They are serious and I think I will come back if I come to brussels again.

Staff. Car parking. Good breakfast. Excellent Italian restaurant attached to the hotel which turned out to be dog friendly. Updated to a very high hotel standard.. Very clean. Nice warm bathroom with large shower.

Brilliant owners - couldn’t be more helpful. Lovely room very clean and big enough for us and our children. Complimentary water fountain with sparkling and syrups very nice touch.
