Staff were young ,extremely friendly and always ready to help. This gave the hotel a really good vibe.

A lounge space available for hotel guests to sit and relax. There was a small sofa at reception which basically served for guests to use while checking in or out - not enough! Maybe the could reduce a few tables in the restaurant area which is never full to create a small lounge area for people to sit other than in their bedroom. Another small thing which could be improved is the coffee at breakfast - weak & watery! Had to ask for expresso coffee which is not included in the breakfast options.

The location is fantastic just a minute from the beach, shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable and the room immaculately clean. The breakfast was nice our experience was ok but the dinner was absolutely delicious.

The construction going on around the building is very loud and started at around 8.45. We flagged this but there's nowhere in the hotel to escape it so couldn't move to another room. We also had issues with the shower and asked to move rooms but were told all the showers are the same. You can't turn on the water and adjust it without getting drenched. We figured out that you need to turn on both taps at once in order to not be scolded or freezing cold and have to wear a shower cap if you don't want to get hair wet.

- staff, very friendly and helpful - this is the big plus of this hotel, staff helped us a lot by organizing our trip, giving good advices, printing our tour tickets, organizing snack and drink to meet and share feedback on the hotel, giving those small attentions that make the difference! - location in the heart of Ipanema, 1min from the beach - complementary bikes for 2h - clean hotel and room - breakfast (a la carte) - the little sweet left on our bed by the end of the day :)

Not big issues, only minor: - water getting supet warm suddenly - wifi connexion in the room - small room (if you have 2 big suitcases! Else it is OK)

Top location 3 minutes from Ipanema beach. We were very happy with the staff, we were given nice bicicles, free towels to go to the beach. check in was fast and so was the check out. they let us leave our luggage after check out to avoid dragging them around during our last day. Breakfast was very good

the room was really really small, we couldn't open our 2 baggages because there wasn't enough space on the floor. the breakfast was excellent but the service was a little bit slow (we waited 10 minutes before the waiter was available to get the order...)

Amazing location, half a block from the beach, in the coolest neighborhood in Rio. Relaxed atmosphere with perfect service. The room was small but very tastefully decorated in a contemporary style. Our room was in the back of the building: good light, no view but also no noise! The bathroom is also small but the shower is very good and the toiletries are of excellent quality, with bathrobes included. We had a delicious breakfast, with vegan options, and opted for outdoor seats in the street level porch, very cool! We'll stay there again, definitely!

We stayed twice in Ipanema Inn and enjoyed our stay. the hotel has an excellent location in Ipanema with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. the breakfast served is delicious and something you would expect from a fancy brunch cafe rather than a hotel. staff is very helpful and friendly.

Our rooms were quite small and a bit outdated but beds are very comfy. When leaving to go to the airport, it took forever to order a cab and we then had to get one on the street, which was a complete rip-off (drove in the wrong direction, on purpose into a traffic jam, then forced us to pay 4x the rate which we had to accept since we were in a hurry). I think it would be good for the hotel to warn people not to take taxis on the street or organise a transport. obviously not the hotel’s fault but good to inform tourists about this.

The hotel is very well located, close to the beach of Ipanema, but also to restaurants and the metro. The staff is nice and friendly and are willing to help with any request you have and they all spoke English. The breakfast is a-la carte which is nice but also time-consuming. So if you are in a hurry it is more difficult. But if you have time, the breakfast is very nice. The room is not too big and spacy enough and it is silent. The hotel offers all kind of items, such as access to their beachclub and even possibility to the use a gym closeby. For sure we would stay here again when we are back in Rio!

The room was a good size, well maintained, and the food was lovely. It was a great location! The perfect place for a short stay in Rio. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Victor & Miguel at reception are so lovely and a huge asset for the hotel. They helped us to book our trips to Cristo Redentor and the Sugarloaf. The staff who served us for breakfast and dinner were also really nice!

We liked everything. The staff are friendly and very helpful, with most speaking good English. The location is excellent, so near the beach but quiet and classy. Great for the metro, taxis, local restaurants and bars. Lovely food, especially the brunch. The superior room was very comfortable. We returned after three weeks at the end of our trip around Brazil and the lovely manager remembered our names. The team have created a perfect blend of great service and relaxed informality.

The location could not be better in the heart of Ipanema with easy access to the metro station, bars, restaurants and shops in the neighbourhood. The hotel is in few steps always from Ipanema Beach. The breakfast is delicious with a lovely Brazilian touch and presentation. All the staff at the restaurant and the reception was super friendly in all occasions. Special thanks to the housekeeper Gloria who did a fantastic job during the 6 nights of our stays, having our room always impeccable and clean.

It was just a bit disappointing that even though the day passes for the gym club nearby that the hotel has partnership with were not available for 2 days in a row for unclear reason. The issue was resolved for the rest of days though. Perhaps the staff at the restaurant could be just a little bit more attentive and well trained for a more efficient service, especially when the restaurant is relatively more busy. Some times we were left forgotten at the table not because the staff was necessarily busy but just a bit distracted.
