Love the architecture and style of this place, very unique in Siem Reap and highlighting Cambodian culture and tradition. The staff is nice and helpful. The atmosphere is so green and relaxing while the location is perfect, being right in the town center. Room is spacious and clean with a strong attention to many details. Breakfast is amazing and super complete. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Angkor Village! Note: The restaurant of the hotel, Aaraama, has an original and interesting menu telling the story of Cambodian cuisine. A must try!

We are completely in love with this peaceful place! Everything is beyond beautiful and the staff are all so sweet and helpful. We booked a room with water view, definately well worth it. Spacious, tranquil, good bathroom, great smelling body products. Cute restaurant in the middle of the pond, also very peaceful and good. The hotel just reopend this november and renovations were made in covid time. Now they are ready for a fresh start with you, don’t hesitate! The location is also perfect, in an area with lot’s of nice restaurants and coffee bars, much nicer than busy old town in our opinion. But easy and nice walk to there if you want.

The beds are very good, but quite hard. It depends on your taste if you like it. For the breakfast it’s really nice to sit by the water, the quality is ok. Not too abundant, but ok enough.

Absolutely fabulous hotel with beautiful garden and amazing staff. The hotel service was at the highest level - transfer from/to the airport, meals at the hotel restaurant, massages, everything! We booked at the hotel lobby a private guided tour to Angkor Wat. The tour was awesome and our tour guide - UN EM was a great host of this place with perfect English. He showed us an amazing Angkor Wat and other temples in it’s surroundings, explained the history of this place and was very open to answer all our questions. We highly recommend a private guided tour with UN EM!

Angkor Village is a resort-like paradise in the middle of the city. Very friendly staff strive to make your stay unforgettable. We travelled with 3 generations and all were taken outstandingly care off. Our room was very quiet despite being adjacent to the resorts pool. We asked for 2 rooms nearby and had adjacent rooms sharing a joined private landing. The resort features a nice restaurant offering a great breakfast selection of local and international dishes as well as warm meals throughout the day. The resort's massage facilities are also amazing. For the sunrise trip the hotel packed us breakfast hampers which catered for a nice morning breakfast. Angkor Village is only minutes away from central Siem Reap with Old Market, Central Market and other tourist destinations nearby. Great location.

If there is anything to improve, it would be great to have more hangers in the bathroom to hang swim gear after using the pool.

Everything was superb. But I would highlight two things: attention to detail and staff. They go beyond what can be expected in a 5-star hotel. Every single member of staff is phenomenal. This is without a doubt the best hotel I've ever stayed in. My room was amazing, and they still did everything I asked for: they moved some heavy armchairs from another room, as I preferred them to read before bed. They also gave me a free upgrade to a water-view villa, they put away pillows before bed and left a bedtime story on the bed with a flower and a biscuit every night. Welcome drink and basket of fruits too. The massage I had was one of the best ones if not the best one I've ever had. The food in the restaurant is excellent. They also arranged a tour guide and a driver for me for the whole of my stay, and they were the very best I could have wished for. In summary, my holiday was a dream. I can't recommend this place enough and I can't wait to go back very soon. Thank you everyone in the hotel for making this holiday an unforgettable one. Angkor and this hotel are both a dream.

The photos don't do it justice. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. We spent the entire stay in wonder and awe and it was the first time I have ever been sad to leave a hotel/resort. Only yip I'd give is try get a room away from Wat Bo road if you are sensitive to noise as the pub across the road sometimes plays loud music until 12ish. The noise isn't horrible, but is noticeable if you are trying for an early night to see a sunrise tour. Also! It is super close to pub street, markets and everything, especially the Wat Bo theatre and Kulen Elephant Forest pick up point

The only criticism I cancome up with: the room requires the RFID in the key for power, so if you are away all day the room can get warm and take a little to cool down. But a cool shower fills that gap nicely.

An exotically styled property of timber pavilions with a beautiful central pond, a cool shaded pool and lots of greenery. The wat bo area is relatively quiet with good restaurants nearby and the lovely Apsara Theatre across the road. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. We had an upstairs room with high ceilings and a view of the pond and restaurant. There were wide cool timber board’s on the floor and a wide bed. The bathroom had cool green tiles and the most wonderful rain shower. It was more accurately a tropical downpour shower and was very much appreciated after a hot morning out in Cambodia(don’t go out in the afternoon in April - at 38+ it is just too hot). Breakfast was from a menu and good. While the quantity at first did not appear as extensive as some other places the staff were happy to provide more if you asked. Food at the restaurant was good but can be found more cheaply in more variety close by. If you come to Siem Reap in April or May you need to understand that it is extremely hot including in the hotel. Best to go out before sunrise and get back by midday then lol about in the pool until the sun goes down then go out again.

If there was a way to leave the aircon on while out of the room it would make it easier to manage the heat in April

HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this hotel. Our stay was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were treated by the friendliest staff. We even got a free room upgrade. We stayed for 5 days and each day the staff brought fresh fruits and cookies to our room. When we first arrived they took a picture of us. We initially thought it would be used for their social media however upon checkout, they framed the photo and gave us as a leaving present. It was such a thoughtful gesture. We even booked their 3-day tour which was perfectly curated for us. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant served a great mix of traditional and Western food. The room was comfortable and the views around the property were absolutely amazing. It was a sanctuary set in the middle of a city. The location was perfect and a short 7-minute walk to Pub Street. The pool was perfectly tucked away to beat the hot sun and humidity. Mainly, the staff was some of the BEST people we have ever met and they truly made our stay memorable. From those at the front desk, to the bartenders, cleaners, cooks, and everyone....made us feel so welcomed and at home. We can't wait to visit again.

We loved everything about our stay at Angkor Village Hotel. The hotel is just stunning! Lush green gardens, surrounding the restaurant, lovely pool and super comfortable and private rooms in beautiful Khmer style wooden housing. Next to that the staff and the service level they provided was just superb. They also were super helpful in arranging a private tour of the Angkor Wat area. The location is excellent, close to city center with a couple of great restaurants in the street. We were sad to leave after 3 days.

We loved that Angkor Village is a collection of elegant rooms that look like bungalows on stilts, above a beautiful lotus pond and garden. It is totally regal, not a Cambodian Kampong style at all! And romantic! There is a large and pretty pool with daybeds and chaises, An open air, shaded restaurant is in the middle of the lotus pond. Complimentary breakfast means a full buffet of Western and Asian foods, lots of fresh fruit, all very tasty. Staff was very helpful in arranging a tuktuk driver for temple sightseeing. We heard their cultural performance and dinner theater was excellent but we were not there during an "on" night. Highly recommended for a tranquil Siem Reap escape.

All was great, even the laundry service!
