Location can not be beat. Easy access in and out of hotel. Friendly cleaning crew and staff. King size bed was a treat for our get away. View was very nice of the harbour but wished we were on back side not facing opposite rooms. Will request that next visit. Parking was not an issue for us. We plan to come again, 3 nights stay was perfect amount of time for us to feel we fully took in the market. Both agree we wouldn’t want to stay in any other part of Vancouver. We are hooked on Granville can’t wait to stay again.

The fitness health club wasn’t what we were expecting for the main jacuzzi. It looked clean but didn’t feel that clean once we went in. Only used once, couldn’t bring our self to go again. The BC flag outside our window waved in wind ripped. We requested togo coffees from restaurant and it felt awkward and an inconvenience for server to accommodate.

This was a last minute booking for us and so glad we made the decision to book. Location was amazing, so romantic, hotel was spotless, staff were super friendly. First room overlooks the graville bridge and car park so we changed next morning, it was a special birthday for my wife and Russel on reception gave us the best room in the hotel for this I thank you from my heart, the room was stunning and the view ever more so. I’d recommend this hotel it was the best ever. I’ve added pics of the view from our room lying on the bed of day/night and the sunrise

Nothing it was perfect

I did not know there was a breakfast. News to me. Hmmmm. Sorry if we missed out. Darn, We like Granville Island. We lived in Vancouver for over 60 years. Long association with the Island and the City.

Well.... don't like complaining, but we did not have the ability to make tea in our room. No appliance for it. As well, sometimes it is nice to have a microwave. They don't have those either. But, it's cool. You can buy all the food you need in the market, cold or warm.

Was right on the end of Granville Island . Excellent stay for our two dogs as there is a park and lots of walking to be done . Felt safe as the whole island has Security and no unwanted visitors were seen at any time .

Rooms and property is a little dated for the price . As we were there for only two sleeps it was a little different getting a note asking why we left the “ Do Not Disturb “ on the door the whole time . Most places like to save on cleaning and laundry as long as possible.

Have used this Hotel on our visits to Canada, travelling from UK every couple of years. Our "Happy Place." Granville Island is a MUST place to visit with, in my opinion, the best market in the World. Hotel is a great place to stay with fantastic views.

Nothing at Granville Island I didn't like. Although Downtown Vancouver has changed so much since our first visit and I would not recommend visitors going there. Drugs, needles on pavements, zombies walking the streets, witnessed person "spaced out on metro line and more. Still a beautiful place to visit but do your homework first. A good friend who lives in Vancouver recently visited Glasgow. Said she felt safer walking around Glasgow on her own than Vancouver!

Staff are AMAZING (truly, truly!!!). Location is IDEAL. Being situated on Granville Island is FANTASTIC. Rooms (space, bedding & views) are AMAZING. Very enjoyable brunch at hotel restaurant (Dockside). I will continue to be a “frequent flyer”/loyal guest. Sam at front desk is a hero. Every single staff member (I’ve stayed here numerous times now) are extremely professional, accommodating and warm.

Parking can be challenging if hotel is fully booked and busy.

Location excellent, right in Granville Island, lots to see and unique artisan shops to browse. Restaurant very good and right on the waterfront, beautiful view and staff friendly. Pet friendly, and great grassy area to walk dogs right next to hotel. Parking although not secure, felt safe for our rare car. reasonable for location and long-weekend. Will definitely come back.

Not sure if there are any rooms on lower floor but guests with pets should probably be located as near exit/lift as possible. A lot to ask of a puppy (or old dog) to make it along 3 corridors and down the lift without an accident. We came prepared so no problem but a couple of close calls.

The location was amazing! We loved being so close to the market and taking the False Creek Ferries if we wanted to venture further into the city. The staff was amazingly helpful and friendly, we couldn’t have asked for better service. I hope they’re all very paid well because they deserve it! We’ll always have wonderful memories of our stay here.

The bedding was a bit strange, the duvet was quite thin and the cover was sort of like a sheet, rather than a proper cover, and we found we ended up with a big tangle of sheets and duvet in the mornings. Also the sauna stopped working our first night there which was a bummer but I know that’s no one’s fault! I’m sure it’s fixed now.

The overall vibe of the place was just great. The room, especially the bed, was super comfortable. WiFi worked well. The location on the water was spectacular with good views and a peaceful feeling. Walking in the vicinity and in the adjoining artist village was enjoyable.

The bureaucracy around checkin really got me down. Several emails requesting information from me, which I couldn’t supply. Problems with which cards are acceptable for payment, and an overall unfriendly checkin (albeit at 2 am) were disappointing.

This is a great place to stay when in Vancouver. The hotel has a stunning view of the water and is extremely quiet. It is very close to the False Creek ferries with its connection to Yaletown railway station. This makes it very easy to get around Vancouver. The hop on hop off bus has a stop is about a 5-10 minute and this is an excellent way of seeing the sites for a first time traveller. The staff were extremely polite and very helpful.

The room was small and the air conditioner was noisy.
