The Location was excellent. Staff were very helpful with providing info about activities. It was central and easy to get transport around the city and to and from airport. Very happy to stay again and price was good.

There seems to be some social problems in vancouver with a lot of drug affected and homeless people sleeping rough. The day I arrived there were 2 guys drinking from casks and sleeping in the bushes just outside the hotel driving bay. Not the hotels issue and they were moved on, but a bit off putting leaving and arriving at the hotel and something for visitors to be aware of when walking around Vancouver. I wasn't hassled at all, but it's very obviously an issue for the city.

Check in. Friendly staff. Excellent maid service. Bedding. Heated pool. Bathroom amenities.

Excessive parking price. Scary garage exit, barely functioning garage door, dangerous to enter lane. Only one restaurant, very limited menu, very overpriced. Hate Keurig pod coffee makers, pods were very low quality coffee, very unexpected in a Vancouver hotel where great coffee is around. Little fridge in room to cold, froze everything. Mattress gave us backaches. Room very small. Loved the heated pool but the pool room, stairways, elevators freezing cold.

The breakfast was great. The room was fine. The electrical plug in situation was a mess--needs to be updated. The bathrooms obviously had just been renovated and the shower was excellent. The staff was very responsive and helpful.

The plug in/connect situation needs improvement. The location is getting sketchy--one block over--homeless, drug paraphernalia, garbage, and the feeling of "you want to get out of there". Really upset that if you book with booking.com you don't get your reward points--NO ONE tells you that.

I loved the location of the property, it was clean and the staff were extremely helpful. The aircon didn’t work in Our original room and the front desk was very helpful by sending maintenance and when that didn’t work they kindly moved us to a room that had excellent air con. I was very impressed. Thank you Holiday Inn Vancouver.

The room with better aircon was a little confusing to get to . But all in all I didn’t not like anything about this location . We had a good stay.

Very pleasant stay though I'll be getting in touch as I was hit immediately by a C$409 charge. Then paid 1600+ for room . The 300.00 "hold" fee repaid when I left but not the $409. When booking ivexpected 1300+ as fixed fee and I paid in Canadian $. When I queried the first charge I was told it would be returned.

The additional charge

We arrived at IGH late at night, with our hire car. Within a few moments the front desk staff had us a room key, parking space and map of the city. We were keen to grab a bite to eat and they were straight off with recommendations for a nearby 24 hours coffee place in walking distance! The next morning we headed out to the Seawall for a run, which was moments away. We could walk to city sights of Vancouver easy enough and driving in and out of the city was simple too.

I could find anywhere that allowed me to dry or style my hair by a mirror.

Location! Location!! Location!!! Excellent!!

I think they are planning to renovate the place. Not to say, that in the current condition there's anything bad or wrong! The place is doing well as it is ! Strange, the room did not have a luggage rack!

Breakfast was very good

I paid extra for breakfast coupons , expecting to use them with another couple Saturday morning. They were dated for each day of our stay . The front desk either would not or could not change them resulting in me paying an extra $ 40 on an unusable breakfast coupon the morning of our checkout.

room was big and airy, the location was easy and close to transport for easy access to other locations. Breakfast was efficient and well presented from a happy team. The happy hour team were good and the evening food very acceptable I would recommend this hotel

Check-in and check-out were a little tiresome but not a show stopper

We caught COVID on a cruise and were forced to isolate for 10 days. The staff were great and ensured we had everything we needed.

There are LOTS of sirens and due to the nature of the high rise buildings the noise echoes. This is not the fault of the hotel but meant we had to keep our window shut of a night.
