I liked everything about this hotel. Staff are always accommodating and very friendly. Jacks is also a wonderful restaurant. Also the location is fantastic. Close to all the shopping spots and restaurants. I always stay at the Capital every time I come to St. John’s

This has nothing to do with this stay. Just want to give you something to think about. The last time my husband and I stayed, we had the handicap room as he has a muscle disease. We brought a 6 inch toilet seat attachment with us and he still couldn’t get off the toilet. I had to pull him up which was not easy. You need at least one handicap room with an electric lift. Every hotel should have one. That is what we have at home.

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. And it was a good price! A fairly quick drive to the airport from the hotel's location. Also, appreciated the breakfast deal at the hotel's restaurant!

Not as close to downtown as I would like but if you are into malls and big box stores they are close to the hotel.

There is some mid sync between booking. Com and hotel systems. Even though I had booking confirmation from booking.com , hotel didn’t have my name in their system. Hotel was fully booked, but thanks to a manager they could figure something out and we got a room. I’m so greatfull for this, because we arrived rather late and didn’t have time to look for another place.

Breakfast was delicious, reasonably priced

The high beds & tub are difficult for a tiny person with mobility issues; but the staff was amazing & provided a stool & bath chair for our mother. Would be good if laundry facilities could be provided

It was exceptionally clean. The lady that checked us in was so friendly. My mom and my aunt were so impressed with her. The beds were really comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

No real complaints. Our tv had streaks going though the screen. We still managed to watch our shows. Lol

I booked because of the good price, but very upset they charged me a booking fee of 14.99. Knowing this now, I could have gotten in cheaper elsewhere. We are seniors. Every penny counts. I was told at my previous stay to call Iinstead of go online to book hotel to get better rate for Dr's appointment, I did call this time but still never got the rate & bonus coupons because apparently it wasn't the right number, (who knew) but tell me afterward. So I won't make those mistakes again.

Rate discount for first responders. Was especially pleased with the complimentary breakfast for me and my guest.

Still not a fan of the sink outside the bathroom. And there needs to be another garbage can near the toilet.

convenient location, Jacks restaurant was very nice and friendly service plus there are several restaurants within walking distance. room was comfortable and clean. 😁I give this place a 10 out of 10

like every hotel/motel property, 2 facecloths are never enough

The location was great for appointments in the west end of the city as well as center city, access to main arteries right around the hotel, you are only minutes from other areas of the city from this location, love it.

There was nothing I didn't like.
