I like the location of the hotel, the rooms are nice size, clean, comfortable beds, nice and clean bathroom. The rooms are equipped with a small fridge, a microwave, coffee machine . The hotel is very close to the famous Water and Gorge Street and we would walk in the evening to the pubs.

I changed my reservation through the Booking 2 days prior to arrival, when we arrive the hotel did not have my new reservation. So they spent almost two hours on the phone with the Booking to fix the glitch and we were sitting in the lobby?? I came back home 5 days ago and there is still bunch of charges on my credit card- more than 3000 even though my total bill with the parking should be 1500dollars. On top of that they charge me 165 dollars per day for the parking, 7 days. The parking is 15 dollars per day and we use the parking for 6 days...They were just charging my credit card for god knows what and I do not know where to start now to fix that. I have never experience that.

Location and cleanliness of the facility. Staff were friendly.

Buffet.... they need to figure out a way to keep the hot food (eggs/home fries) HOT>>> it was cold unless you happened to get the food as they dumped it in>>> a bit disappointed that making up the room required a "request" to the desk. Also, there was no toiletries for purchase or an emergency kit in case the traveller fogot their stuff.... ie: shaving cream, deodorants, etc. Usually, the confection area carries a few of these types of necessities in addition to water, chips, soda and chocolate bars.

The location and very clean.

Didn’t include breakfast, didn’t clean our room for four days and had to ask for toilet paper like three times before we got them and also had to ask for new towels a few times before we got them as well.

The room was very modern and clean The hotel was well located for the sites we wanted to see

The breakfast food was terrible, especially for the price we paid for the buffet. The restaraunt was not open for lunches, we sat for 15 min waiting for someone to come talk to us. There was no signage to tell people they were not open. When we asked why there was no lunch being served, the woman at the front desk said "we dont want to over work our staff." We expected our room starighted up, bed made and clean towels for the price of that room however, the was no maid service provided at all.

Great location. Easy walk into downtown and the harbour. Very clean and neat lobby and rooms. Pool and gym were available as well as a number of snack offerings in the lobby.

Sign on the front doors off the street stated that they would be locked from 11pm for safety, these were locked at all times including the day hours. The bathroom door was sufficiently weighty as to swing shut at all times and no fan meant that the bathroom was always quite hot and steamy.

The rooms were large and clean. The pool was perfect for my kids. The little extra we paid when booking for breakfast was well worth the cost. We are very happy we chose this hotel for our stay in St-John’s.

The window was very small, and no shuttle to/from the airport.

Loved how spacious the room was and how close it was to many different attractions in town. Plus the rooms were super clean.

We went on a snowy day and they could have done better salting the stairs outside and having extra carpets in the lobby. Slipped multiple times both places.

Really appreciated the attention given by the restaurant staff in terms of seating especially for my daughter who is in a wheelchair,,Also thank-you for the late check-out,,that meant a lot....Very friendly staff,would def stay here again..

Location was good for our purpose.

Checking in was weird, no info given from the clerk as to where the elevator or anything else was, no manners at all as far as I can see. Maybe she was training I don't know...but wasn't a very warm welcome or initial first impression.

It goes without saying that the room itself was just perfect. We absolutely loved that the location was walking distance from the downtown shopping and restaurants. Also, we had the most amazing view of the Harbour and Signal Hill. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Took a while to get our room but was well worth the wait.
