Hot tub was incredible, bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was large and had more than enough space for the gf’s makeup, room itself was large with a digital fireplace, thermostat was well functioning and the heater/ac worked perfectly, mini fridge was great and was very cold.

In the queen suite room i was in (room 105), there was only one bedside table and the outlets were somewhat sparsely placed and the few in the room already had multiple things plugged in that could not be unplugged (tv, room phone, lamps, mini fridge, etc), tv was somewhat difficult to get working. power button would not turn off the tv and it took a while to figure out how exactly it worked. older rogers remote so if you’re used to that it might be fine (i am not at all used to older remotes)

Our outside room with a jacuzzi tub was lovely, clean and spacious. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location is great for walking downtown yet far enough away that it’s quiet.

We were originally given a basement room and upon inspection, it was very clean but had a strong mold/musty smell which I have allergic reactions to. I told the staff and we were moved to an outdoor suite which was great! Breakfast at the cafe was all cooked in an air fryer which wasn’t great taste wise, the sausages were undercooked. Atmosphere was lovely though.

The room was lovely! Well cleaned and the bed was so Comfy!!! Always a beautiful nights sleep when we stay here. We fully enjoyed our night!

We weren't able to check in before 8pm due to our daughters volleyball games going over time and then we had to get her to her hotel with her team. Time we got to the monastery it was closed and locked up and we needed to phone someone to let us in. When we called first there was no answer and then when we finally got her we were able to code in and find our room. Checking out wasn't what we expected either. After telling the lady at the front desk when she called to confirm we'd still be coming that we would be paying cash, we found out the next morning that she went ahead and charged our credit card anyways. We had to wait almost 15 minutes for someone to check us out of our room as well. We've stayed here a bunch of times without any problems but this time was so much more difficult!

Had a problem with our air conditioner and didn’t even complain about it. They came to us to try to fix the ac and when they couldn’t, they dance us a room upgrade and a bottle of wine!

Excellent hotel and ridiculously comfy beds.

I love the jucuzzi - would love to have breakfast in the morning. Would love to see a two night stay for the price.

Room cleaning was inconsistent. One day spotless next day not so much. Shirt on towels and toilet paper one day. We stayed 7 days and bedding was not changed. Floor needing sweeping several days.

Location is good. Bed is super comfy. Nice quiet hotel. Definitely recommend a room with the jacuzzi.

Air conditioner was quite noisy. There was a dirty wet towel left hanging behind the bathroom door. For the price per night a free breakfast or a mint on the pillow would have been nice.

I love the hotel add-ons! My boyfriend & I spent our Anniversary here so I wanted to make the room look extra special so I got an add-on which featured rose petals, chocolate covered strawberries & tea light candles in our room. The outcome was stunning!!😍

Spa at the Monastety, is one of very few hotels that I've stayed in that has laminate flooring. Long gone are the days of carpeted flooring, for many reasons, allergies, odors etc. The staff were awesome and very helpful.

More time on site. We were limited to how long we could stay, through our own planning, NOT the hotel.

The spa bath in our room was huge. Amazing experience. Pillows were nice and soft. The fireplace was a nice touch

The bed is really squeaky, even a just rolling over in the bed was loud. A little uncomfortable. The walls are thin. Could hear anybody that was walking past the room.
