I was very thrilled at what we found at this hotel after reading numerous reviews about how bad the hotel was!! They must have been written by people who are just unhappy with their lives!! Everything was new, very clean, no odd smells, and service was fast and efficient!! This was 1 of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in! The staff was very friendly and any request I made for me and the 2 teenagers with me were taken care of within minutes!! The teens played in the clean pool every night. If you don't put the " Do Not Disturb" sign on the outside of your door, housekeeping will refresh and restock your room. We had the time of our lives! We were giggling and laughing our whole stay at Niagara Falls !! Cave of the Mist, the tunnels, and Maid of the Mist are must dos!!!! Thank you, Hinton staff, for taking such good care of us!!!

I didn’t like that the heated pool was cold and that the nearest bathrooms to the pool area where a really far distance from the pool area past check in. The breakfast was not good. They charge you for breakfast and the only thing they had was a bagel, muffin, coffee, and a few juices. no cereal no toast. just wasn’t a good breakfast, nothing any of my kids liked.

I had not known this hotel was within a SHORT walk to the Falls!!!! The front desk staff was courteous, professional, especially Alayna, who searched for, retrieved, and sent my treasured Bible, left in the bedlinens, back to me.

The person giving information re: the other attractions had more global information rather than specifics, did not know about the "dry" option for a whirlwind/jet boat tour nor the physical limitations for passengers.

The best thing about this property is the location! There's no way to stay (affordably) any closer to the Falls. The best views of the American Falls are less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel, and the best views of the Canadian Falls were only a few minutes further. The second best thing is The Anchor Bar and Grill restaurant located in the same building. The breakfast staff tended to be a bit awkward and disorganized even though the food was really good. But if you come back for dinner, the staff, the atmosphere and the food are all tremendous! The hotel staff, facilities and the value/cost all exceeded our expectations.

The only complaints I would have about the property are far outweighed by the positive aspects. Our AC/heat didn't work properly and therefore required a little 'fiddling' with to get the room comfortable. The beds are exceptionally firm, which I suppose some folks like, but with a back injury the 4" mattress topper I brought along saved the trip for me. And the most glaring thing that really needs addressed is the carpet in the elevators. It is absolutely filthy. It desperately needs replaced, and the sooner the better!

The location was great! Close to the park and the falls, within minutes. The staff was friendly The common areas were very clean, including the rooms. Great coffee!, parking on site was a plus. Overall the place was a 7 out of 10

I did not like the bed sheets. They smell like they were not wash. The beds were not as comfortable, so we did not rest as much. The tub did not drain properly. It was clogged.

We were located very close to the Niagara Falls National Park. The beds were comfortable.

Our beds were not made. The closet was small for a group of 4 and there was limited options to put your suitcase on. Another suitcase caddy or table would have made packing and unpacking so much easier. I booked a room for 4 but only received two breakfasts. The breakfast was not very good. The pool was located on the lobby level and the noise from those using the pool was heard throughout the lobby.

Great location within an easy walk of the falls. We had a room with a view of the nightly fireworks over the falls, which was a bonus. Really helpful staff, really good gym and the bonus of a pool.

The breakfast included with our room was in an adjoining bar and it is dreadful- do not pay extra for the breakfast.

1. Staff were great, you could tell they were short staffed, but they were wonderful and helpful 2. Walking distance to Niagara Falls and many great restaurants!! 3. Very affordable 4. Not every hotel is new and shiny, but hotel does their best to keep it in good shape. Some repairs are needed here or there. 5. Would absolutely stay here again!!!

1. Someone pulled a fire alarm prompting evacuation. It happens, however we could barely hear the alarm or the order for evacuation until we heard commotion outside and went out. I had to call front desk to verify what was happening 2. Fitness room had nothing to wipe down the machines with before or after the workout. Not even the hand sanitizer dispensers. Gym etiquette demands that there are some kind of wipes to wipe down the machines with.

The staff are friendly and hekpfull. The only thing make me upset the break fast that was not includ to my family . This some thing me really uoset.

The place really clean and the staff are helpfull .

Friendly staff and close proximity to attractions. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool and adjoining arcades. The two massage chair near lobby was also a hit with us adults.

Hate to be so critical but there was only one washer and one dryer for entire hotel guest to use. There are laudromats acouple miles away.
