Room was very clean and simply appointed, the Inn Keepers are very friendly and are clearly working hard to "refresh" the Inn - there is a very "organic and cozy" vibe here: The check in area has candles to purchase, games to borrow, a bar fridge with refreshments to purchase and many other nice touches. The bed was very comfortable, water views amazing - morning coffee out on that balcony was just lovely (there is literally a Tim Hortons 2-3 minutes down the road); easy access to downtown restaurants and shops. Very close to a waterfront park for swimming or putting a kayak/canoe in the water to do some paddling - this park also has paved trails for biking or walking, lots of picnic tables and benches if you just want to have a picnic by the water. If you want the full beach experience, Couchiching Provincial Beach Park is a short drive (10 minutes by car, 18 minutes by bicycle): go to the beach for the day AND come back to a clean, cool room, a shower, fresh clothes and maybe head downtown for dinner (Highly recommend Kenzington Burger Bar on Mississaga Street 😊) or, enjoy the sunset on your balcony with some take out - we will definitely be back!

Beautiful room right on the lake with a beach and walk right into the water, gorgeous sunsets, peaceful, amazing staff, very friendly and warm welcome, we have stayed in alot of places all over and this is now our favorite place to stay, we have already booked another weekend and can't wait to go back I work in a stressful job and staying in a beautiful place is very important I felt totally stress free after my first night and we wanted to stay longer but they were already fully booked I am covering the days until we go back This is a Amazing place to stay 😊

Excellent stay and wish we could have stayed longer. We were in town for a concert so got back to hotel late and had to be back home for a function at noon on the Sunday so had to get up and leave. Would def consider this for a short stay to just get away for a couple of days!

There didn't appear to be anything not to like! Comfy beds and extremely clean unit we were in. Loved the view outside on balcony and do wish we had a bit more time to even enjoy a fire at night!

A most wonderful motel in a quiet neighbourhood with a view of the lake. The owners greet you with a smile and make you feel comfortable and at home from the moment you walk in their reception area. This is our second stay, and a perfect reprieve on our way in and out of navigating Toronto traffic. The bed was comfortable, the view is calming and tranquil. A perfect stop on a road trip, or if you want to see a show at the Casino, a serene moment a short drive away.

We stayed here one night to break up a long road trip with a 1.5yo toddler. Lovely little inn! The staff were very welcoming, the view was lovely, and the spacious room had everything we needed. There's also a nice playground right across the road, if you're here with young kids.

The curtains could be darker because the gorgeous view of the sunset shines into the bedroom, but really this is only a problem if you go to bed with your toddler at 8pm in June haha. Not likely an issue for the average person!;)

Absolutely EVERYTHING. I love that when you first walk in to the office they obviously support small local businesses - as there is a spot set up with their stuff! I love the amazing customer service we got! The amazing view! When we came back from our concert, we couldn't get our key to work and 1 call and they had someone come down and help us with no hesitations. We apologized for it being so late and he said that its never a problem - young guy too! :) The room was so clean you could eat off the floors! Everything was perfect!

We have stayed here before, mostly because of the westerly view across the lake. It is not a luxury motel with pool, restuarant, etc., but it is very clean, the bed is comfortable, and the room has all the usual amenities. We like the fact that the windows open, and that we can sit on the balcony to eat, read, or watch the ducks and geese. Perfect for a couple of nights' stay.

We were not bothered this time, but it would be nice if there was no smoking on the balconies, since smoke does not respect boundaries.

Great find close to Casino and Costco. The front staff greeted us with a warm smile and were very informative on guiding us to the surrounding attractions. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Our private balcony overlooked the waterfront and a park. Parking was right outside our door. Finally found our comfortable, affordable little spot for our return trips to the Orillia area.

Only one thing........strangely neither the tub or bathroom sink had a plug.

Very clean, comfy beds, great water pressure, but the view of the lake was spectacular! Close to everything in Orillia 10 mins away. There is a Tim Hortons, Kawartha Dairy, Couchicing Beach Park, Mariposa Market and tons of cool restaurants. Casino Rama is 8 minute drive away. Fire pit and BBQ available in the back. Located off main roads so we woke up to birds singing. There's a private dock and a hammock for napping. Very friendly hosts/owners. Loved it we will be back.

Staff was very friendly. The view was spectacular, room was a good size, very clean. The king size bed was very comfortable. The room supplied a coffee maker, small fridge and microwave which all came in handy. The only complaint was the bathtub it had a narrow step to get into it and there was only one grab bar on the outside of the tub. I have mobility and leg issues and was unable to get into the tub to shower But, we still wouldn't hesitate go back again.

There were benches on the ground floor outside each room but, the second floor had small tables with chairs which would have been much nicer to have. The piece of property across the road that they owned over looking the lake had only one chair down at the dock which was down a slope. The top of the decline had no other chairs to sit and enjoy the view. Small issues but, being disabled limited what I could do. and could be an easy fix by just adding some chairs or even a picnic table at the top.
