Breakfast was fantastic. Loved the fruit especially. Also the variety of breads, bagels, muffins, cream cheese. Good coffee. Great value re cost of my stay. When I let the staff person know you were out of coffee and eggs they were replaced immediately.

When I called for the shuttle, I was told it would arrive in 10-15 minutes. After 25 minutes I called again and was told he'd send it right away and it was there in 10 minutes. Turned out the front desk person got busy and forgot to tell the shuttle driver. HOWEVER, when I spoke to him about it, he offered me an upgraded room and I hadn't even asked for one. We all make mistakes and his ultimate response was what I consider good customer service. The area in front of the microwave was sticky.

It was conveniently located for our trip. Mostly quiet, clean and friendly staff. Just north of the hotel is Hog's back park. A nice spot to walk. A little further up is Ottawa proper. Lots of restaurant choices nearby. Tim Hortons pretty much shares a parking lot. The ladies who keep the place clean were very friendly, efficient and always smiling.

Monday morning breakfast was serve-yourself, a selection of bagels and muffins and a container of juice and jams and stuff. Day two you had to ask the concierge and we were given one muffin and one bagel and nothing else (he asked if we wanted apple sauce or yogurt and we didn't but those are in the container with the juice and spreads). We didn't bother going down for breakfast on the third day. The beds were comfortable, memory foam but some of the other furniture in the room was a bit wobbly.

the property actually exceeds my expectations as it is a 3 star hotel and relatively budget one, however it was very clean quiet, and seems to me like 5 stars (with no luxury items). Breakfast is OK, no hot meals, but more than enough. Also, Tim Hortons is just few steps away from the main gate which is very convenient in case you don't like the hotel's breakfast.

maybe a bit more privacy for the swimming pool not be exposed to everybody on their way to their room. another area of improvement is the breakfast, it is fine, but could be better.

It was a fairly quick check in which was perfect since it was quite late when we arrived and we were exhausted after a very long day at a dance competition.

We were disappointed in the breakfast that was supposed to be included. We were looking for the buffet style breakfast we usually get when we stay at hotels, but instead received a prepackaged container of food items. I was unable to eat anything in the package due to allergies and ended up having to purchase breakfast somewhere else. The muffin I was able to choose over a yogurt was very good though, just not enough for breakfast.

I had an early flight after leaving your premises so a breakfast box was provided the night I arrived. Other than a small clementine & muffin, I could not eat the other food due to allergies. However, for those guests who depart early in the morning, the breakfast box is a nice touch.

Less dairy products in the breakfast box & when having a shower, the curtain bottom slid or blew over the edge of the tub, causing a wet floor. I had to use a second towel to mop up the water. Possibly a longer shower curtain might help?

The room was neat and spacious and well set up with all the basics in place. The staff were exceptionally nice right from the day I entered and was taken care of by the receptionist who definitely knew his job by the way he spoke and made us feel very comfortable. Something which is taken for granted in other establishments.

Nothing that I didn't like. Just a suggestion for the breakfast to maybe include easy peasy scrambled eggs and get rid of the hard boiled eggs.

I love that breakfast was included in the price, and how big the tv was, however the remote was a problem as it took so long to get it to work. I like that there was a table there to actually eat at, it was very handy

I believe the old single sofa char should be removed as it was giving really OLD vibes and doesn’t really compliment the room, if not removed maybe changing it would be better.

Clean large rooms. Beds were comfortable. Good variety of breakfast including fresh fruit and enough to start your day. Has something for most. Convenient for families and kids. Having a mini fridge is very helpful. Lots of parking. Not too far from downtown if you have a car.

Breakfast could have hot options or more protein options. Pillows could be better. Price for distance from downtown could be better.

Great location and the room was wonderful. We slept great and the AC made the room very comfy.

The hall smelled like someone was smoking pot in their room, I'm very allergic so my throat hurt. The staff at the desk made me feel very frustrated... Room was paid for in advance, website said nothing about needing a credit card, but couldn't get my key until a card was given for incidentals... Couldn't leave a cash deposit. Very upsetting. I had my cell phone die as well, because the lamps had outlets that we used, but apparently didn't work.

It didn't feel like a 2 star hotel. The room was spacious with nice front view. Easy parking and it was complimentary. The beds were comfy. We have two tables which was great to use one as work/study station and other to eat. Great TV, pool and breakfast. The front lounge/breakfast area is cozy. Oh and the staffs are just wonderful 👏. They were so caring and compassionate. Compared to 3 star hotel I am staying right now in toronto, Days Inn should be rated 4 stars. Tim hortons and great Shawarma place right at the door step you can say.

I wish the building was a little high rise or had a balcony. But still its not a necessity.
