The hotel room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. In general, staff tried their best to help us despite limited skills in English. I encountered Jerry at the lobby who has the best English, he was very friendly and helpful. But other staff like the guy who kept our belongings/luggage was also very helpful and friendly. They also helped us to book taxis with app on their phones. Location was very, very close to Nanjing Pedestrian St, on top of that very close to many little restaurants, fruit shop, mini markets. Breakfast had good variety of selection from Western to Chinese cuisines.

Maybe if the size of the room was a bit bigger, that would have been perfect.

-Convenient location- close to metro station (8-10 min walk) and 30 min pleasant walk (on pedestrian rd) from the Bund -Onsite restaurant availability until 7pm -Spectacular breakfast: great variety, good taste, helpful staff -Comfortable, quite room -Good views (see picture attached) from the room (22nd floor), although not the iconic Shanghai ones -Great value for money -Polite staff -Fully recommend

-Everything was perfect and I have no complaint. -Relatively small room -Staff -except one- did not speak any English. This is a common thing in China, nobody speaks English. -Internet sites & TV channels limited: this NOT being the hotel’s fault: there are restrictions & blockade from the Chinese government I was told.

The location and the view from my room were great. It was only a few steps away from the very commercial Nanjing Road and easy access to public transport nearby. The room had a great view of the city and especially from Nanjing road, and I could even catch the view of the Shanghai Tower from it. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but the room was very comfortable and very clean.

Nothing to say here. I loved the place, I would go back again. No negative comments.

The staff is really lovely and helpful. I have stayed 6 hotels in my work trip due to different locations in China and Holiday Inn Shanghai Nanjing Road has given me the best impression. All of their staff from lobby reception, door keeper to lobby manager are all professional and kind with clients. I feel relax to stay in this hotel while I have busy work schedule for my work trip. The hotel can get busy during check out time in the morning but their staff would look after each clients with patient and care. Highly recommend for business trip also for vocation stay. This hotel has a great central location. I will definitely come back and stay in this hotel for my future stay. Great staff, clean room, good space, very good for value. :p)

Staff was great, from reception to cleaning staff. Location was great and easy for drivers to find who don’t understand English that well.

I didn’t like the bed, it was too soft, gave me severe lower back pains. The carpets in the hallways of the hotel always had that damp smell, but nothing you can’t ignore.

location is very good. i suggest the room also very excellent. i have not eat including breakfast. So i can not write to eat delicious breakfast. I think my room can not open two times about software error.

Shanghai is the world famous development city in China country. i have been to Shanghai city in China. I prefer night life at Ship boat Dealership Dinner is the other Country. We can visit so many place in Shanghai. thanks

Excellent service by Mr Jerry at Concierge helped us a lot by giving us tips on places to visit and how to get there! When stranded in some place a call to him and a taxi was arranged . Overall a great experience thanks to Mr Jerry and the location

Good value property in an excellent location. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, particularly Jerry who helped us so much with everything from getting taxis to buying wrapping paper to finding a dentist. Thank you so much Jerry - we couldn’t have survived Shanghai without you!

Great location, excellent breakfast, there was something new every day. Warm greetings by the staff upon breakfast. The view from the room is great. Room facilities are good, shower is spacious, bed is very comfortable.

Small noise due to construction work on the road outside but it didn't affect the sleep.
