The location is fantastic. I stayed in room2218 from 24/7/23 TO 30/7/23 and the house keeper name Ms Emily Chen was very helpful. She even go to the extend of washing my socks once. I wish the management will see this remarks and compliment her.

Location, back door is directly to Nanjing Pedestrian Street but only open until 10pm. Breakfast, great selection of food for China hotels standard, but it has less for international standard breakfast for the same category hotel. Front desk does speak great english. Hotel is clean. We have 4 complimentary bottles of water per room a day. Subway in Nanjing Road around 10mins walk from the hotel, very convenient. We have a nice view, we could see the Oriental Pearl Tower.

1st night, we have empty body wash bottle so I use the shampoo as a body wash and gave them a benefit of doubt as it is already 11pm, sadly 2nd night they didn't replace or refill the body wash so I called them and they brought it fast and it was also around 11pm.

Great location, comfortable rooms and beds. Generally hotel looks for 5 stars but only....details.

Kind but totally not flexible staff. 1 week befor my stay Ive asked to change room from 2 persons for 1. And 1 bed instead 2 beds bcs finally I ve arrived alone. They didnt agree for my few demands. Finally I ve got have 2 bads for 1 person and they charged me for 2 persons. Im sure that hotel ve have got not more then 50% free rooms then. I dont understand why staff dont clean used mugs within 3 days of my stay or not empty the trash. Towels unpleasand smell. Staff eats lunch at the reception desc during check out😉. That s was funny.

Thé location is ideal. Right on Nanjing road. You can walk to the Bund and People’s Park. The Metro is really close by in Peoples park. There is a direct line from there to Pudong airport. The hotel is very grand in an old style way, with lots of marble, granite, and chandeliers. The standard room that we had was large with a comfortable bed and pillows. There was a bath as well as a shower . Lovely thick Robeson the cupboard as well as an iron and ironing board. 4 bottles of complimentary drinking water were provided each day. The staff were friendly and helpful. I think it was good value for money considering the excellent location, comfort and good quality.

Thé air conditioning wasn’t working properly. The water temperature in the bathroom could have been hotter. The shower door leaked. It was evident that an attempt had been made to seal it with silicone

All staff are polite and nice. Room is newly renovated, all furnishing is nice. Layout of the room is good.

The phone in the room could be place at more convinient place. The phone is placeat the right side of the beside which is next to the bathroom. Inside the bath room have a phone already, so the phone in the room could place on the leftside of the bed so we don't need to walk all the way to the end of the room to use the phone. The living room could put another phone as well. Door knob of the bath room is very difficult to turn and open, especially from the outside.

The location was superb. Easy access to lots of shopping and nearby places such as Yu Yuan ,Tian Zi Fang etc. Easy to find food, very convenient if you would like to take a stroll along the bustling Nanjing Street to the bund. Despite being located at a busy street, the hotel itself was quiet, very restful sleep. Staff were helpful too. They allowed us earlier check in at around 12pm so that was nice after the flight. Even though the room might be a bit old, it is still superb value for money

I wish the room would smell fresher, it felt a bit stale . And maybe if the room could have brighter lights

The hotel is located conveniently to People's Square metro station, Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, and many malls in the surrounding area. The service provided by the hotel staff was also prompt and efficient, and housekeeping did a great job in tidying our rooms - we appreciated returning to a clean and comfortable room after a long day out.

We did not get a chance to try the other facilities.

The hotel locates in the most prosperous center of Shanghai City. It is just a few feet from Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and a hub People's Park Metro Station. The hotel and the rooms are highly decorated with gilded and shining colors. The breakfast was incredibly good. It was a buffet with so many food and drinks to feast. Many food was cooked onsite.

There was only one check-in desk with two staff and always many guest waiting in lines to check in. The bathtub is in the living room outside the bathroom, thus the space in the room is occupied by the large bathtub. This is a room design flaw.
