The location was perfect for us, which was the main reason for us to pick the hotel in the first place. The hotel is not one of the new and fancy ones, but one of the outstanding historic buildings of Shanghai. We enjoyed the historic building with a nice entrance and lovely park view of the high-floor rooms. It's fun that people keep taking pictures of the building. It might be better if the rooms were renovated, however. with the current `original` state of the rooms, it gives a time-machine feeling. We didn't stay for breakfast at the hotel, as there are plenty of local options around. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is located directly opposite of a metro station, reachable within 5 mins. It is located right downtown in area with lots to do and see. A famous pedestrian shopping district was just right the corner. The hotel housekeepers were friendly and greeted us each time they sees us. The front desk personnel was also helpful with the questions we had.

The hotel internal structure is a little weird where rooms stationed in the sub-level will have to access the rooms via narrow stairs after exiting the lift. Simply put; our room was on level 6 (however, we have to take the lift to level 6, and walk down a small section of stairs making it seemingly level 5.5). This is inconvenient and dangerous with large luggages. Unsure if its due to the weather (we visited in April, with an average temperature around 15 degree celcius) or the old condition of the hotel, the air-conditioning in the room isn’t working. Even when I tried adjusting the temperature to “cool” + “high speed” + “15 degrees”. I was literally sleeping in sweat.

The host was super nice and helpful in giving sightseeing suggestions and helping to organize a driver for the day. Best was to come back after a rainy day, take a hot shower and get comfy in the bed which had a heating blanket! A lot of free water was available too and good shampoo and shower gel. The inn is very cute and rustic and the location is great for a walk in the nightly lit old streets.

It was really great, one tiny suggestion if I had to make one is softer beds, although I know these beds are pretty common in China.

Nice hotel. Brilliant location. Huge room. Booked a suite as not much more money and worth it. Enormous bed and very comfy. Staff did not speak much English but use Google translate.. very easy. They all use it

They forgot to add our breakfast (included in our rate) make sure you have booking info with you and use Google translate or ALIPAY translate to communicate. Decor was a little dated but was fine. Breakfast need more western options as very limited and not use to eating soup for breakfast.

very comfortable and large room and bed. I staid in that hotel already 3x and always was satisfy. Room is clean, and give you privacy on toilet - comperad another modern hotels with very modern glas wall when you can see from the bed direct to toilet bowl. My recommedation. Tell taxi driver to take you to hotel Radisson. This building everybody knows. Hotel Pacific is on the right next to the hotel Radisson Blu. When you take Metro get out on People Square station.

The location is superb. Can't be any closer to the subway station (People square exit 8). Super easy to travel from Pudong international airport. The hotel exterior and decoration look classic. Easy to find almost everything you may need.

As the room interior are in carpet, so it may feel a bit dusty. Everything else is just fine for its age and value for money.

The location was very convenient, about a 4 minute walk from the metro station. The service was good as well. As soon as we approached the hotel, one of the employees proactively came to help us with our luggage. The rooms were quite big and clean.

There were no lifts in the extended area of the hotel, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs to level 3

Super excellent location in the center of the city! Close is subway station, 5 minutes to Nanjing Road, many shops, restaurants nearby. Across the road is stop for Sightseeing buses. The staff are very helpful, receptionists, housekeepers and all other personnel are very professional.

Love how it is located central and near the square. Love how attentive the staff and eager to assist. Girl at reception speaks good English that was a plus.

The hotel is a bit old, carpet in the hallway and rooms very dusty but that didn’t ruin my stay as I was only there for 2 days

It's a monument to the early 1900s Shanghai, inside and out. Updated in the infrastructure, but retaining the air of that period. And a few blocks from the fun chaos of nanjing pedestrian street and, even better, Haikou Road and the small fascinating streets with amazing food and activity south of Nanjing East Road.
