Very friendly and very helpful staff! Beautiful views of the Arsenal Volcano from our 4th floor room. Tours we took that were coordinated through the Royal Corin were zip lining (Sky Trek is the best), Sloth Tour and ATV adventure. All tours were perfect. They have several Tours to choose from. Buffet Breakfast was delicious. Thermal pools galore. Swim up bar drinks are perfect while sitting in a hot pool. There is tourist shopping in La Fourtuna. About a $10 taxi ride from the Royal Corin. Recommend trying food at Pollo Fortuneno in town. And there are two markets in La Fortuna in case you need to pick up supplies. As they say in Costa Rica, Pura Vida!

The staff really go above and beyond. The pools and jacuzzis were really great & we always had one to ourselves. The room had the most amazing clear view of the volcano. The beds were super comfortable. Parking was always available. Wifi was never an issue. The food was great too (best chicken wings ever, hands down) There's just nothing that this place lacks. We were highly impressed and had a wonderful stay. Thank you all so much for making our stay great and my birthday special with the balloon, decorations and treats. Thank you again!!!

I loved the thermal pool area and all the lush greenery. the property is well maintained! Additionally the service was impeccable. We were immediately greeted upon arriving. they provided welcome drinks and cool towels to wipe yourself. check in staff were professional and explained everything about property top to bottom. they also knew we were departing early and prepared breakfast boxes for us. they continually checked in on us during our stay to make sure everything was to our liking. also the Loto spa hot stone massages were wonderful. I would not hesitate to return

The hotel staffs were amazing and very accommodating. The hotel is clean and service was amazing. Breakfast had variety and the juice were freshly made. I had a great time and would definitely recommend. Also, the resort is close to major restaurants and shops. The room was decorated for my boyfriend's birthday and free desserts was delivered to our room. Thank you Royal Corin:)

I really enjoyed my stay but if I could change anything it would be how far the resort was from the airport..over 3hrs drive:(

Breakfast was outstanding-the presentation & the quality of the buffet choices were exceptional. The area was serene & tranquillizing. Most impressive was the staff; everyone was so pleasant & respectful. You could tell that they were genuine & it wasn’t an act or forced. My husband and I have traveled a lot & both felt this was the best staff Ever in our history of vacations. The dining on or off site was splendid-every restaurant recommended the food was great & affordable

There was nothing I can truly say I didn’t like

Overall an excellent 5* hotel; some quibbles about dinners and exercise area. Nicely appointed, small (<60 rooms), adults-only boutique hotel with volcano view from every room (well, if the clouds weren't there). Friendly and personal staff ready to help with tours, transportation and money. We stayed in a King room on the 4th floor; there are 2 larger suites per floor (3 floors of rooms). There is a warm (spring fed) pool with a swim up bar and also 4 jacuzzis of increasing temperature. If you're looking for a peaceful place to lounge, read, talk, and have a few drinks and bar lunch, it's great. But it's not Tabacon or The Springs resort if geothermal pools are a novelty you want to explore. Food: A good buffet breakfast is included with something for everyone. But the dinners were variable (we ate one night at the Emperador and once at the top floor Lava Bar Restaurant, with both meals coming from the same kitchen afaict). I had a delicious stuffed chicken breast, but a poorly cooked tough steak. Otoh,the desserts were very good and the meals were inexpensive. My advice would be to take a cab or Uber (~US$5) to La Fortuna where there are dozens of restaurants.

One complaint: the "exercise room" is tiny (one treadmill, one elliptical, one set of weights) and has to be reserved.

The property was stunning , the views of the volcano where incredible. The lush landscaping was absolutely breathtaking, and the hot thermal pools and swim up bars were fantastic. The staff was out of this world everyone spoke english well, the staff was incredibly classy and friendly and treated us like a king and queen. I felt so pampered. The staff didn’t feel tip hungry , like at another hotel we stayed . We did make sure to tip them well . We enjoyed using the spa which had all these cool features, lots of little spring jacuzzi’s, and was breathtaking. The massage was the best massage I have ever had . Food was very good , service was above and beyond . We were constantly greeted with kind manners like Con gusto ( with pleasure) and con promiso. All the staff was really out of this world , so much so that even though I was only there for one night I remember many of there names : David the bell boy , Stacey from the front desk who took pictures for , Kevin the Bartender/Waiter who also took our pictures, Fransisco the waiter at the Lava Bar. There were two other girls at the reception that where so nice one with shirt curly brown hair and the other with long blonde hair that where so so nice , I just didn’t get a chance to catch there names. The chef from lunch at the swim up bar was incredible and even came to personally apologize for accidentally putting cheese in our sandwich that we ordered with our cheese . No big deal , she was genuinely sorry , and so kind . The staff was just out of this world , I can’t even describe in words what an amazing experience we had at the Royal Corin .

I liked every about the property and if I could rate it higher than 10 I would .

The property is absolutely exceptional. We were very well taken care of as soon as we opened the door of the car. We were greeted by David who immediately took our bags with a smile and we were offered a drink and a cold towel while checking in. The staff are absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was special as it was our honeymoon. The facilities are amazing, you could spend a whole day at the pool and jacuzzi’s alone. The food in the restaurant is excellent also. We saw toucans and other animals during our stay there too. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It is very safe and well worth the money.

The breakfast was not exceptional

My wife and I are frequent travelers and we don’t skimp on accommodations. I have to say that The Royal Corin was the best hotel experience we have ever had. Firstly it’s in the perfect location to enjoy the trails, hanging bridges, wildlife and everything else that makes The Arenal worth visiting. After enjoying all the activities you come back to the hotel and you are greeted by the hotel staff who all seem to remember your name. You can then soak your aches and pains in the hotels thermal swimming pools. If you want to “rough it” this is not the place for you. Lol

We loved the property

I loved the staff. They are very inviting and if I could take them all back home with me I would so I could show Americas what hospitality really is!

I did not like that the hot springs close at 10pm maybe 12am in case you want to enjoy it after a late dinner. But I do understand why they choose that time since the room face the pool and some guests like to sleep in early due to the early tours.
