Everything. If you stay here it will honestly be one of the most exceptional hotels you will ever experience. Mainly because of the views of the volcano (which are unrivalled) and also the stunning grounds on which the property is set, which make you feel as if you staying in the heart of the rainforest. However this doesn’t come at the expense of luxury. The room had every amenity you could ask for and the staff were incredibly attentive, always on hand to take us to and from the different restaurants and pools on the Nayara complex. One staff member even helped us find a sloth on the last day of our holiday which was the best ending we could have hoped for! One other great thing about the property is that it is connected to two other hotels - Nayara Springs and Gardens - where all amenities can be used interchangeably. This gives you access to several pools (including adult only pools with swim up bars), multiple restaurants, a gym and natural thermal hot springs.

Nothing! But one tip: make sure you keep your doors shut at night to avoid any creep crawlies entering your room.

It was the last accommodation during our 2 week holiday and by all means was the nicest place we ever stayed in.

I was a little disappointed about the welcome. I spoke to the team prior and specified there we will be 3 of us and 2 have or will be celebrating their birthdays. I also did the check in for a smooth check in on the arrival. But when we arrived, only 2 of us were greeted and third person was left behind. They also asked us to fill the documents even though we did that prior to the arrival. I think pre-arrival alignment on guests would have been appreciated in such hotel. The wine bar was also a disappointment. Not only because the wine was not good but also that you charge ridiculous amount of money for a sip!! This is what you normally get in a good restaurant to see if you like the wine before you take a bottle. I felt that was a little outrageous concept.

I stayed one night at Nayara Tented Camp & then one at Springs. I was warmly welcomed to the property by Blanco & Carolina, checked in, & enjoyed a cocktail at the pool after a tour of the property, while waiting for my room to be ready (I was early). The whole Nayara property is huge & would be hard to navigate on foot by myself, and very beautiful. The golf carts will take you anywhere. My room (29 Sloth) was gorgeous, spacious, clean, & comfortable, with an amazing view of the volcano. The food & drinks across my stay were excellent, even room service was delicious (& super fast)! I enjoyed the coffee tasting class I took at Mi Cafecito as well as my spa treatment (green coffee wrap with Erika). I didn't get to spend tons of time at the various pools but did pop by a few & found them beautiful & enjoyable. Overall I can't speak highly enough about my stay here, except that I wish it could have been longer!

There are small things (especially at the price point), but nothing major. The main thing to know is that the golf carts sometimes can take a really long time to come, particularly around dinnertime (like 20-40 minutes), but even other times during the day. Plan accordingly.

We got the most amazing room in the hotel! It was impecable! View right to the Arenal volcano, all forest in front of you. The room had everything you could need and more. The laundry service was free of charge and it was very good and quick. The house was new and furnished with amazing style. We hardly wanted to leave the room to do other activities! Also, the tours offered were very good and the information about them was very complete and clear. Food was also really good in all the restaurants. We used a lot room service and we loved it. All the staff was kind and ready to help you in any possible way.

There's nothing not to like about the hotel. I think it is designed for guests to spend more time in their own rooms, rather than going around the hotel, but that is not a bad thing.

Amazing area, carefully designed, with a lot of things to do. The tents are amazing and luxurious. The staff is the best.

The photos on Booking.com are very old. There are no views like that anymore, as the plants are growing fast. The water in the main pool is amazing, but the water in the tent pool is boiling hot. BOILING. No way to use it. No chance to cool it down.

Lovely grounds, and luxurious tent/room with magnificent views, quiet, very good facilities, excellent breakfast. Everyone: staff and management were very peasant and serviceable. Near to local town for change of environment. Near to most activities. Excellent spa services. Nayara had many quiet areas on the property to relax, dip in Springs, or a lap pool.

Lack of English spoken by several staff but all very pleasant and eager to please. One of restaurant did not live up to our expectation but most of our meals were very good/excellent.

The service was excellent! every single staff catered to all our needs....the food was good, the the facilities were excellent....wifi was good as well. the location is absolutely breathtaking. only thing is, its far from everything. it took almost four hours to get there from San Jose...but once we were there...it was an excellent experience. We took a few Spa treatments...and it was awesome!...the private pools had water from the hot springs, so the water was nice and warm all night to dip in...

Loved the property and staff. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The food was great everywhere we tried.

Maybe a curtain/shade between the outside shower and indoor shower so two people could shower at the same time.
