Amazing host - so helpful - and perfect central location for walking everywhere; Laura is a very good cook, too! Just 5 mins from the airport. Hot water on demand in showers (my husband and son figured it out …. ask if you can’t!).

Classic Costa Rican extra extra firm mattresses (every home seems to have them; hotels we stayed at catered more to soft northern bodies). Otherwise perfect!

The bnb is very conveniently situated: very near the airport with a bus stop only a street away that goes to Juan Santamaría international airport. They are loads of restaurants nearby for dinner and the street is quiet and calm at night. The host is very friendly nice and welcoming and the breakfast is included! If you are transiting from and to the airport this is the place to stay!

The perfect place to stay in Alajuela ! This was the best hostel I made during my trip. The host is super nice and welcoming, she cooks delicious homemade breakfast, everything is super clean and confortable, and this place is in the centre of the city and 10 min away from the airport with a taxi ! I recommend this hostel to start or finish your trip in the most perfect conditions :)

We stayed in Lajuela BnB for our first night in Costa Rica. Our room and the bathroom were clean. The bed was very comfy, we had a really good sleep. Laura is such a great host, the communication was clear and she let us check-in after hours as requested. The home-made breakfast was delicious. Excellent value for the money!

The attitude was lovely, the place was pleasant with good and homely energy. I arrived after a long day and the attitude was considerate, everything was clean tidy and delicious the service includes a sumptuous breakfast which is prepared at that moment to serve it fresh hot and it is especially delicious and the location was also amazing close to good restaurants and not far from the airport

That I could not stay longer

August 2022. This is a great choice for singles or family who need a place to stay close to San Jose Airport. About 5000 colones cab ride to a safe, clean and enjoyable area (Lajuela) with a variety of restaurants within walking distance. Laura, the owner is very hospitable and offers and amazing breakfast as she is also a pastry chef. The rooms are clean and though it is a shared bathroom (2), Laura keeps them in immaculate shape.

Nothing to offer

The hostel was very easy to reach from the airport and we were very warmly welcomed. The room is just the right size and the shared bathroom is clean. The host is super nice and helped us very often. The breakfast is very good and freshly prepared. We have enjoyed our stay very much

There is nothing to complain about.

Very nice host, clean room, good matress and pillows. Quiet in the night, very central to everything though. The best was the lovely breakfast Laura is making for you fresh :)

There could have been soap in the bathroom and better space to put your things. But this is a minor complaint, everything was nice.

Room and bathroom was clean but there was no hot water. The breakfast in the morning was great. Coffee, juice, omelet, fruit and granola with yogurt. The owner was very nice. There is a curfew which I found rather odd. You had to be inside by 10:30 PM.

Laura is a wonderful host. I enjoyed my stay with her very much. Although I arrived pretty late at Night, she was very welcoming. She prepares deliciouse breakfast. I like the atmosphere, I really felt welcome and home. Thank you very much and see you next time :-)
