Hotel Bozica Dubrovnik Islands

It's very difficult to find fault with Hotel Bozica - the private transfer, the friendly & very helpful staff, the location, delicious breakfast etc. We had a very happy week there. The only criticism I have is the lunch & dinner menu in the restaurant stayed the same the whole week and wasn't sufficiently varied but there are other places to eat. I would recommend walking down to the little port of Sudurad for drinks and/or supper; getting the bus to Sipanska for the evening or a day trip; taking the ferry to Lopud for the day - have lunch at Obala (we had the best lunch there by far) and then get a golf cart to the beach. I would also highly recommend the restaurant Trisestre next to the hotel. The excellent ferry service leaves Sudurad several times a day and does the Lopud/Kolocep/Dubrovnik circuit so you can easily do a day trip to Dubrovnik too if you leave early enough. But if you just want to relax by the pool or by the sea, there are plenty of sun loungers for everyone, the sea is beautifully clear and the views to die for.

Amazing, peaceful location right by sea which is great for a morning swim. Huge and plentiful varity at breakfast. Out of the way. Very comfortable room. Took a water taxi to BOWA and walked back which was a fun afternoon

Staff were generally very courteous and helpful but breakfast tables were not cleaned properly between seatings. The restaurant prices seemed high given the the restaurant next door was a similar menu but arguably better food with lower prices. Would have liked a bit more to do.

The food in the hotel is good but rather expensive. For diner this is ok but it would be good to have some cheaper lunch dishes, especially since you are on a small island and therefore don't have many options.

First the location is beautiful, then you arrive by boat, the hotel is really nice and hanging on a cliff. The staff is simply wonderful, we got to know them through the years. And the food is so fresh, well prepared, served with attention, this is a place we keep coming back because we haven't found a better heaven yet.

Honestly, there is nothing I would change. Maybe just simplifying how you get the paddle boards and to purchase more of them. Otherwise, there is really nothing I would change. I will certainly come back.

We have had an absolutely gorgeous time at Bozica. The team were so helpful, even before we arrived and totally went above and beyond when we were there helping us sort a surprise trip out. From the second we were picked up from the airport, to the perfect timing of our boat arriving to take us to the Island. The magical journey across to the Island, the incredible sunset, seeing the stunning hotel and a big friendly welcome when we arrived. We were in heaven. The food, having a private place to swim, all the different places to sit and enjoy a drink, the views, all stunning. Beach towels were provided everyday. The team were so friendly and helpful and worked so hard to make people’s visits as stress free as possible. I cannot speak highly enough of this beautiful place and the team.

Beautiful, small boutique hotel in a stunning location. The view from the Comfort Suite balcony was incredible. The AC near silent. The breakfast was extensive and the staff were friendly and v helpful.

The furniture in the Comfort Suite was functional but a bit tired and basic. The number of nearby restaurants is limited (3) but that is part of Sipan’s charm and more options can be had via a 10 minute ferry trip to nearby Lopud island.

The views are outstanding. We initially booked an apartment and we had the benefit of a private terrace with nice outdoor furniture. The indoor space was more than satisfactory for 2 people. We decided to return within a week but unfortunately there were no rooms with balconies available. We had a room in the loft which was not of the same standard but nor was it advertised as being of the same quality. The pool is very nice, the sitting areas around the pool are furnished with good outdoor furniture. There is also a marine pool at the bottom of the property. The staff is very helpful especially the young man with a bow tie. Apologies for not making a note of his name.

We would have appreciated a better selection for breakfast and for dinner. The dinner is overpriced.

An absolutely stunning location, the pool is wonderful, the sea beach area is beautiful, and the hotel itself is very cozy. The staff were extremely kind and friendly, and it’s clear that the whole island is a magical place. We loved all the fresh fruit at breakfast, and the courgette soup was incredible. Was great to have fresh bread every morning and the option to have eggs from the kitchen as well. Our room was lovely and we loved having an ocean view. The beds were extremely comfortable, we both slept so well every night, and the bathroom was roomy and shampoo and conditioner refilled without asking.

In the cooler months it would be nice if the pool was heated. Also we both thought that the price (€8) to add chicken to a salad was a bit high.

Fabulous location and the hotel lived up to our hopes - relaxed, friendly, quiet, comfortable. There are enough sun loungers for all guests, either down by the sea or up by the pool. The hotel provide beach towels each day too. It is a very beautiful area and the sea was lovely to swim in. The food was great too, dining with spectacular views over the sea to the islands was quite special. A very relaxing break and one we hope to repeat!

The only thing to mention would be the intermittent wifi service.

Amazing location with incredible sea views from our room. Located on a remote island, so away from huddle and busy Dubrovnik, so perfect location for someone that’s looking for a peaceful holiday away from it all. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were large and comfortable, with incredible sea views.

The food at the restaurant was ok but not as delicious as the one in the little restaurant down in the village by the pier.
