Great location, tasty breakfast, nice and helpful staff. Special thanks for the early check-in.

View from the window on the wall of a nearby house. Unfortunately, the room didn't have a view of the city as in the promotional photos of this room category...

From the minute you arrive at the perfectly located hotel you are greeted warmly and surrounded by opulent beauty. The lobby, hallways, staircase and rooms are all beautiful and inviting. The Lucious beds and comforters are great to sink into after a long day of exploring. We enjoyed the sauna and hot tub after miles is walking. The bathroom is large and beautiful with long tub to soak in. Caution: make sure you ask for a non slip mat!! The breakfast area is the perfect start to the day with numerous coffee and food choices, mimosas, and an elegant setting by large windows. Staff are attentive and helpful. Tony’s restaurant boiled beef was a memorable dinner.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. The hotel is in a wonderful art nouveau building, situated in the best location in Prague, handy for walking to the town square and local shopping and restaurants in nearby Namesti Republiki.

The breakfasts in this hotel used to be something to look forward to when the breakfast room was located in the iconic Sarah Bearnhardt Suit. Waiter service of drinks, a huge range of food options and a chef on hand to cook requested food like omelets, so a real experience. For whatever commercial reason the Sarah Bernhardt suit has now been converted to 'Tonys bar and cafe', with the name not exactly being in keeping with the hotel style and from the apparent lack of custom not very popular. The breakfast room has been moved to the smaller lunch / bar room. Unfortunately, breakfast has suffered cut-backs, now a very standard and limited buffet style, with no waiter service of drinks, so involving queuing at the coffee machines. A real shame.

Their breakfast buffet was exceptional. Nice variety of hot foods, cereals, and pastries. Staff kept refilling the stations as the morning progressed so guests always had a full selection to pick from no matter what time they came to eat. The staff was extremely helpful in providing maps and directions on how to get around town, tram info, restaurant picks for dinner, and all-around general helpfulness. Very friendly! The hotel overall was very clean; the rooms, the hallways, elevators and general public areas.

Rooms were a little too warm during our visit, couldn’t figure out how to work a/c.

An amazing experience from the moment we set foot in this hotel. Beautiful art deco building that is well maintained. Staff were welcoming and helpful, including by booking our airport transfer and printing our train tickets. We had room 206 which is a spacious corner room with a balcony overlooking the street. Large bathroom with underfloor heating and thick towels. Large shower over bath (although note quite a large step in and out). Robes, slippers, kettle and tea/coffee in the room was a lovely touch. Decent buffet breakfast was included with barista coffee upon request.

Only issues were the pillows (very lumpy with no support) and lack of sound proofing (internal noise in the corridor). House keeping staff spoke very loudly in the corridors in the morning which wasn’t a pleasant way to wake up.

The hotel is situated in a fantastic part of Old Town, close to many tourist attractions but not right in the centre so you can enjoy peace and quiet of its location. The staff made us so welcome from the minute we entered the building to the minute we left. Reception is always happy to help, no matter what you need they always try to do their best to help with a big smile on their faces. Rooms are spacious and very well furnished in a traditional style. The whole building is a stunning piece of art too. Breakfasts were very tasty, you had a choice of warm/cold dishes, plenty of fresh fruit and something for a sweet tooth too. We would definitely recommend staying at the Hotel Paris.

The location is good, very close to Old Town Square and everything else we wanted to see in Prague. All within walking distance. The breakfast buffet had many offerings, a nice dining room and was a convenient way to get started on our day. Tony's bar was a nice relaxing spot at the end of the day to have a cocktail and listen to live piano music.

The shower in our room was ridiculously impossible. It was very small, had a huge step up into the shower and an opening about half the size of a normal shower door, We had to change rooms because of it. In my opinion it was dangerous.

The location is ideal to explore the city on foot. It is conveniently located 10 walking minutes from the main train station and the underground is 2 minutes away. The hotel is in a historical building which has been completely refurbished, so it has modern furniture and enough sockets in the room and the bathroom was big and bright.

Staff at breakfast during the weekend was neither helpful nor friendly: both breakfast rooms were full and we were left to search for a place om our own which meant waiting. Nobody had on the breakfast list that it was my partner's birthday even though this was recorded when I made the booking (and he also received a delicious birthday cake in the room in the evening, much appreciated)

Almost everything you can think of was outstanding but the two things that really stood out were the service and the hotel environment. The service was really exceptional, very friendly and very efficient, at breakfast we nicknamed the breakfast staff 'The Ninjas' as you barely noticed how they turned tables around after a guest had finished so as to be ready for a new guest, they were fast yet never seemed rushed! Staff were always eager and ready to help and very efficient but not brusque. When we asked for an airport transfer back to the airport they arranged a luxury car (which really wasn't expensive) and finished our stay off in style. The hotel environment was again exceptional, Art Deco architecture, Bohemian artwork, comfortable spacious rooms with high ceilings, everything clean, tidy and looking new, even the walls had fabric lining rather than cheaper wallpaper! The bed was the most comfortable we have ever had in a hotel and a lovely spa and well appointed gym. The bar makes great cocktails as well! Overall you couldn't wish for anything better.

I'm not a great fan of showers in baths, I was fine with it but if you have some mobility issues you might find it a bit of a struggle getting in and out. That's it, just a minor little thing and it didn't detract from our stay.

We really loved the helpfulness of the front office staff especially Ms Monika who went beyond to help in everything. The helpful nature of the staff was the highlight of the hotel.

Less vegetarian options for breakfast.
