February 2024

The room was very spacious and clean. Smiling reception staff.

Two cleaning ladies opened my room on 03 February at around 9.00 am with their key without checking their list of guests' absence or presence in the room. Luckily I was dressed. The breakfast at 13 euros was very poor in choice! The hotel taxi I was given didn't give me an electronic bill because they didn't have a credit card reader and only took cash. He gave me a piece of paper with the hotel stamp on it. The hotel did not inform me of this. I could have paid the taxi directly at the hotel.

The location is great. Very near metro & tram connections. A few steps away from Palladium, a large shopping mall. Plenty of eateries, coffee shops and pubs in the vicinity. The centre of the city is a few minutes’ walk away. The hotel is decorated with the nod to Spanish culture. There’s a Spanish restaurant on the ground floor. Cannot comment on the menu as I did not use. Also adjacent is a wine bar, which is open well into the night, serves Spanish wines and nibbles like cheese and cured ham, for the late crowd. The rooms are clean, however, they might benefit from an upgrade. The breakfast was adequate, the coffee machine quite slow. The manageress Lada of the front staff was very pleasant and customer focused. It’s nice to see, particularly this day and age. She will go far in her career.

Rather garish decor

I liked that it was such a homey feeling. The staff was great! Lots of space in the suite. I booked the hotel for 5 people ( ended up getting 2 rooms) of which, one was a suite and the other was a room with another queen bed and a full size bed. We only ended up using the suite (room 11) which had 4 total beds!! Didn’t even use the other room. All my family was able to fit in one room. Sadly the other room price was not refundable. Anyways, the breakfast was amazing the staff at the restaurant was also excellent. Lots of selections for breakfast (hot, cold, juice, salad, pastry, cereals, etc). Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would stay again but would only book one room (which was the biggest suite - room 11)

The beds were not as comfortable. It’s a thin bed but it serves its purpose. Only one of the rooms had air conditioning.

Everything was excellent during our stay. Main strenghts: • An excellent position, near the old town center and main atrractions in Prague; • The rooms are spacious, very clean and have a beautiful design; • Breakfast had a wide range of products, everything was fresh and delicious; • The staff was very friendly, they offered us the possibility to storage our luggage during the last day. Also, they were really kind and we could make the check in earlier; All in all, the experience was very pleasant and I highly recomand this hotel!

Everything was better than initially expected!

As far as hotel stays go, this is a great hotel with loads of colour and personality. We really enjoyed the reception and the hotel's restaurant, La Boca: quirky art, Dali reproductions, colour colour everywhere. We had breakfast included and enjoyed it - we also had tapas in their restaurant one night and was very tasty. They had a laundry service which we used and found the staff generally pleasant and helpful. Location is also very good, about 10 min walk from the astronomical clock.

With such a colourful reception and restaurant, would have loved if our room would have been the same: a bit more colour and personality; it just looked like an old fashioned hotel in the room. Because they have a restaurant and there is another one across the road, it can get loud until late at night, people smoking and chatting - this was the only acommodation on our 6 cities journey where I had to use ear plugs.

The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the old town. Walking to the Charles Bridge takes about 10-15 minutes. The location is very safe and is opposite the Polish embassy. Our room was very spacious with two bedrooms. The beds are exceptionally comfortable. The hotel itself is not the newest, neither are the rooms. Needs a thorough refresh. The bathroom is comfortable and quite large. We also had an extra toilet. The air conditioning is a bit lacking, but there are fans that work really well. All rooms have an entrance from the courtyard, the elevator works efficiently. The breakfasts are tasty, if a bit monotonous. It's a buffet: lots of things to choose from. Overall a very nice hotel for a short break.

I have no negative comments. The only slight difficulty is parking. This is not a hotel car park, but the Kotva shopping center, which is about 100 m from the hotel. You have to find a parking space, which is not so easy, but it works out in the end. The places are quite narrow. Access from the hotel is quite simple. Unfortunately, in the other direction (i.e. if you want to drive up to the hotel) you have to spend some time because the exit from the parking lot is from the other side.

The hotel was bright and full of light, very traditional. The service as soon as we arrived was amazing, the room was ready early and we were given a complimentary upgrade from a Double Twin to a Suite which made our trip 10x easier as it was me and a friend. The bar Wine Office was lovely with the bar lady recommending an excellent Spanish wine to me (would love to know the name of it so I can drink it again!). Also the closeness to the Old town was amazing! Turn left out of the hotel, a quick walk and you're there.

There were no major points of issue at all. Really couldn't complain.

Excellent location, close to the train station, bars and not too far to reach the Old Town. We were upgraded to a suite which was a lovely surprise! Receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful, even though she was super busy with checking in lots of guests at once, she still made us feel very welcome and didn't try to rush us through. The suite was beautiful and perfect for us whilst we were backpacking around Europe. The shower had surprisingly high pressure which was great. Very clean room which overlooked the main square with minimal external noise. Will definitely stay here again. Amazing value for money.

Could slightly hear the trams outside at night but wasn't a big deal.

This is a very unique 2BR hotel and perfect for 2 couples or in our case one BR for parents and another BR for kids. Super spacious! You enter the room and there is a bathroom, and Bedrooms with door on each sides. Master Bedroom has a toilet, mini refrigerator, desk. Other Bedroom has sofa and desk and TV and safe. Both has a good size cabinet. Location is also great!! One minute to the Main Street and Municipal Hall, supermarket Bills is just around the corner, a nice upscale shopping mall is right there, everything in Old town is walking distance. Trolly stop is also a minute away so you can hop on to visit Prague castle!

Large room with spacious beds, simple and clean. Close location to most places in the city centre. Easy 5 - 10 minute walk to Old Town Square and from there you can go pretty much anywhere with plenty of travel options. There is a restaurant at the hotel but there are also plenty of places to eat in the area.

It is on the older side. The bathroom is strange though in that the toilet is in one room and the shower and sink is in another, so when you use the toilet you have to open the door and then go into another room to wash your hands. Not a deal breaker, was just strange.
