The location is excellent. We were going on a cruise next day and the location could not be better. It's very close to the port of Miami, lots of eating options within walking distance, the very lively and entertaining Bay Side Market Place is 5 minutes walk, and close to many stores for shopping. Also, within easy reach to the Metro Mover which connects to the Metro Rail. From the airport it is very easy to use the Metro Rail and Metro Mover to get to the hotel for $2.25. Just get on the train from the airport, there is only one line, get off at Government Centre, take the Metro Mover and get off at First Street Station, where the hotel is 2 blocks away. Metro Rail is $2,25, and the Metro Mover is free. Taxi from the airport is about $30.00. Room is very nice, clean, and comfortable. Will certainly stay again.,

Only 2 small elevators, so at times a bit of a wait to use it. Also, the hotel was a bit expensive.

staff was really nice. it was a busy area but we were able to get to port right on the outside of the hotl. Also there was a 24 hour CVS right across the street.

The location is the best thing about this hotel. It is just across Bayside Marketplace, close to bus stations, Metromover, everything that you need for sightseeing. We had some problems with the faucet and the janitor was sent immediately to the room to fix it.

The cleanliness of the place could be better, there are carpets both in the corridors and rooms and they have seen better days. Also, they should invest in some better faucets, since we stayed in two rooms and both had problems with them, and the reception didn't seem surprised by the problem. However, they did have them fixed immediately.

The property was beautiful. Hallways and rooms were very clean. The checkout process was easy and the location is in a convenient spot that CVS is right across the street.

The staff was uninformative and seemed slightly unwelcoming. Upon arrival the front desk concierge put his finger up at me to wait while he answers a phone call. I was also asked if I wanted to upgrade for an additional $15 but the room I was “upgraded” to was the same room I reserved. I was confused about how the elevator worked and the staff watched me struggle vs help me. I was traveling with a party of 4 and there were only 1 set of washcloths in the bathroom when I called to get extra they could only provide me with 2.

The hotel had some mixed reviews but we had a really pleasant stay. The rooms are a little bit on the smaller side but the staff are super friendly and helpful and the location is amazing. Walking distance to bayfront mall and perfect for you if you’re looking to go on a cruise in Miami you’re also walking distance from the free monorail and close access to things like the big bus in Miami and also the shuttles as well across the road there’s a CVS for deli supplies and there are lots of other restaurants within walking distance.

Rooms at the YVE are a little bit small bird, but still manageable and also they don’t have a refrigerator inside the rooms 

Excellent location for pre-cruise stay. Very close to the port. Beds comfortable but small. One of our party left an item in the room after checkout, the hotel held onto this safely until we’d completed our cruise. Very helpful and accommodating, easy check in process.

Complimentary shuttle to the port would be nice as I’m guessing lots of people stay here pre-cruise. Beds were comfortable but very small.

The location was great. we wanted a location close to the cruise ports. its not far at all. only cost $11 to uber to the port. within walking distance to just about anything you want to do in Miami. Right across from the Miami Heat Stadium as well. The staff was friendly and super helpful with food selection. They off valet parking and around the clock security for the hotel. Its conveniently located directly across the street from a Walgreens as well with was beneficial

Nothing really to change. We were only there for one night so didn't have alot of time there to critique but our experience was good. The rooms however are very small if you are looking for something spacious. the bathroom is super tiny. however it worked just fine for what we needed.

Location was good. Room was clean and staff was friendly.

The shower needs a door to prevent the floor getting wet. Wish the sink countertop was bigger or there was a shelf to put things on. It's a good value compared to the holiday inn a few blocks down.

Conveniently located near bayside market which has allot of shops, harbor area and restaurants. Directly across the street is a cvs and ross. Around the corner Delicious sushi and hibachi. Short commute we ubered to Port of Miami. This is in the heart of Dowtown so busy intersections. Beautiful view of harbor and sunrise

The rooms were a bit on the smaller side and the air conditioning was loud. The hotel checked on us via text and we're going to bring us additional towels and a blanket that was never brought up. No pool or hot tub.
