unique hotel with large infrastructure inside. you can find there all attractions. amazing large pool, private lagoon, and there’s a beach access 20 minutes of walking or 5 min driving.

the key system is weird. my key never worked. even i kept it separate from my phones. towel stations also had a problems. but main problem is restaurants. its only 3 of them on such a large property. food could be better . and we were very surprised to learn that even if you have booked large room and paid 2,500$ you still need to pay for parking 45$ . this is first time I saw that as hotel guests you need also pay for parking

Large property with nice pools and overall very good for families. Nui is a good all around restaurant for families. My wife has celiac (Gluten allergy) and they have the best gluten free crust I think I've ever tasted. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable.

Depending on which tower you are staying in, your walk from the car to your room can be quite a distance. My wife and I didn't mind because we got our steps in, the kids were less enthusiastic (teenagers), but it was good for them too. There is a tram though for those that want to walk. I wish there were more restaurants, but Nui was wonderful everytime we ate there.

We loved the food at the resort and the beautiful nature surrounding the property. Snorkeling in the lagoon I saw 3 green sea turtles and lots of fish! The resort classes are great too, I did Tai Chi and a sound bath with Gwen who was awesome!

The hotel is in a location that is about 30mins-2hrs away from many of the sites we wanted to see (snorkeling spots, volcanoes and waterfalls). We splurged for our honeymoon but otherwise we would not be able to afford this hotel.

Beautiful resort

the beach was not what I expected, small and literally only one family could fit at a time.

the property is stunning with great swimming pools and the lagoon which had wonderful marine life including numerous turtles and there is a nearby beach in front of the Marriott which welcomed us and we could use the deck chairs all day. Loved the fact the pools were all open until 10pm. There are nearby shops which are great for those little things you need and i was able to rent a car from an app that was left for us at the nearby kings shops. The pacific art throughout the property is also stunning. Loved our room in the palace that looked out to the mountains it was breathtaking how it changed throughout the day and evening

Is not cheap but there are options with the nearby shops and floor microwaves for those watching the budget. My wife was not impressed when she was asked to move from one of the outside pool tables when she said she had ordered takeaways which were coming. I would understand if it was full but it was not so there was no need for that when she had actually ordered food. It’s isolated so you do need a vehicle but worth is due to the beautiful setting

Beautiful property on a great location. Lots of different areas to enjoy your vacation. Remotely close to most things on the island.

Resort seemed a little understaffed. Check in process was not very pleasant. Waited almost an hour to check in, due to lack of employees. Once we got checked in we waited 1.5 hours PAST check in time before our room was ready for us.

It’s close to swim with Dolphins and the garden in the area around is wide and greenery. I like a shuttle tram and a boat ride (free of charge )is also good and parking is close to the apartment MAKAI. The sunset view from 5th floor I stay is very beautiful.

It slightly far from the airport ,if your price covered free transport is much better. another one I need is swimming pool with warm water. If you provide I will appreciate.

Breakfast buffet was awesome!

The mattress are fluffy and very uncomfortable. Investing in good quality mattresses and pillows would be fantastic, because I could feel the springs from the mattress. The furniture in the room was very dusty.

Beautiful surroundings with exemplary service. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. A special shout-out to Susie Villasenor Navarro, the front office night manager, who helped me take care of a booking issue. Very nicely done.

The Waikoloa Coffee shop was always out of açaí bowls by 7am. I don’t understand how that can happen when it opens at 6am and there are many early risers who would like a breakfast at that time. And they smiled when they said they were out like it happens all the time. Please don’t offer them if people are not going to be able to get them.

We love the pool. They are several pools in the hotel include waterfall and slide. The hotel is gigantic. Love their facilities like pool, laundry and shuttle. Perfect for family.

The hotel is a little bit run down. Water pressure in our room is very low. Lots of shops and restaurant on properties some are either still close or doesn't have a great selection, also pricey. We usually need to go out and get food outside.
