The location is so convinient. It’s walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants and the farmers market. The room is very spacious with microwave and mini fridge. They lend out beach towels going out and exchange as often as needed. The staff are friendly, especially, Donna from the front desk. The house keeping are considerate about changing the towels. Pancakes & P.O.G. Juice for breakfast.

Finding a parking spot can become difficult if you come back late. You pay $10/day(+tax)… yes, they tax the parking. I wish they had rice or potatoes with their breakfast luncheon meat, Portuguese sausage to cut through the saltiness instead of having biscuits and gravy everyday which is also salty.

My room wasn't necessarily the cleanest. Not filthy by any means, but there were a few areas that could have used a little more elbow grease to clean. Also, I found a cockroach the size of my pinky right by the front door. Though, when you go to Hawaii it's to be expected that bugs will weasel their way into cooler areas indoors so I don't hold that against the hotel.

We are a family of 5 adults - the 5-person room was nice & big although pullout sofa bed was not the most comfortable. The breakfast was simple but very adequate for our needs ( we had toasted bagels & coffee & some fruit). The hotel sits in the middle of a parking lot but so easy to walk to restaurants & shops & ocean that this was not a problem. The pool & hottub were very nice. We went in every day to warm up after snorkeling. Staff very pleasant.

We wanted to take the stairs but outside staircase door didn't work so had to take elevator.

The room was very clean. The room was a good size. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, served over a decent timeframe and there were nice little birds to look at.

The car park behind the hotel car park had a dodgy reputation, but that said, we never had any issue and overall, it was super conveniently placed near the action in Kona.

The location of this hotel is perfect! It's an easy 2 minute walk to an amazing ocean view. There is also a small shopping center there that had good restaurants and cute shops. The staff was incredibly friendly. It seemed the property was newer. This was so convenient to both harbors for water activities. I highly recommend this hotel!

I wish breakfast opened earlier. Towels I was willing to use again were replaced. I thought you wanted to be green. For my early morning check-out, I waited in the lobby for 15 min. not knowing that the person setting up breakfast was the person manning the front desk. This person saw me sitting there and I had to initiate conversation to get in touch with front desk personnel.

The room was just as pictured & was clean.

We had to ask for clean towels & the garbage wasn’t picked up until I asked for room service. I was told I needed to fill out some form which no one offered when I checked in. In order to use the exercise room an appointment was necessary & one day I was told the entire morning was booked up by one person yet no one was in there. I was upset it wasn’t being used & the clerk was very snippy with me. The next day I was told I could rent the room for one hour even though I asked for 30 minutes. I realize COVID has been a big part of all of this happening but it was uncomfortable for me being treated like I was bothering this one staff member.

Free good b’kfast!!! in the heart of Kona downtown! walking distance to Courtyard by Marriott King Kamehameha's Kona Beach where we attended luau, free hula dance & free historical tour! close driving distance to Costco! lots of restaurants around!

Room was really nice, spacious and clean. Bed was super comfy. Bathroom was spacious too. I especially liked the Dove bath products (bec that’s what I use haha). Staff was really warm and friendly, too. Will definitely stay here again!

Size and quality of furnishings in the room. Facilities were good particularly the laundry room. General cleanliness of the hotel. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Comfortable and recently updated decor.

Cockroaches in our bathroom however staff provided insect spray. One female member of staff serving breakfast was unfriendly and quiet obviously didn’t want to be there.
