Pickalbatros Aqua Vista Resort - Hurghada

We had a great time at this property. The room was spacious and very clean and the facilities were excellent. It's basically 3 different Pickalbatros properties side by side, and you can freely use all of the facilities of the whole 3 (pools, restaurants, bars, etc.). The food in the restaurants is very good and there's a lot of variety. Everyday there was something different. Service is also excellent. Every member of the staff seems to be genuinely concerned about making your stay as enjoyable as possible. On the very first day, I noticed that the handle to open the water in our shower was broken. As I was leaving my room the following morning, I mentioned it to a staff member. When I returned to my room later that day, the problem had already been solved.

The wifi throughout the property is really slow. You'll be able to send messages, but not much else. There is a free shuttle to the beach nearby, but once you get there, you'll notice that guests from the non-beach front properties can only use the far left side of the beach, where there's only rocks and a concrete pavement. As such, we couldn't sit on the beach chairs and keep an eye on our kids while they played in the water.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable , The staff in friendly and helpful The room is big and clean and they upgraded it free of charge with pool view The food in the three restaurants is good and tasty and they have many varieties

The show area is not good and can't fit all guests, especially they made one show for all three hotels All desserts in all resturants is very bad and they repeat it every day

The infrastructure of the hotel is huge with everything you can wish for. The staff is always taking care of the gardens and all the amenities, so everything is very well preserved and clean. You have access to a lot of restaurants and bars so the food and drink options are very wide.

The staff at the pool reserve chairs for some guests, I've been to a few hotels where guests wake up very early and do that, having the staff doing it is the first time I see and most certainly they are paid off by the guests. Think this is very annoying and unfair to the other guests. Even being on an all-inclusive the hotel tries to up-sell you stuff: popcorn, shisha, massages etc. which I think goes against the all-inclusive principle... The hotel is also not located next to the beach and has a shuttle every half an hour that takes you there. The beach itself was a deception, so we only went one time

No much entertainment at night, there was a very good fire show in one of the nights i stayed there, but that was the only good one

While our stay at Pickalbatros Aqua Vista Resort was undeniably enjoyable, we have identified a couple of minor areas that may benefit from improvement, although these considerations did not significantly impact our overall vacation experience: Aqua Park Slide Maintenance: It came to our attention that some of the aqua park slides appear somewhat outdated and would benefit from maintenance to ensure safety and optimal functionality. Snack Bar Food Quality: We observed that the quality of food at the snack bar fell slightly below the high standards set by the rest of the hotel's dining options. We look forward to the possibility of witnessing these improvements during our future visits ;)

Our stay at Pickalbatros Aqua Vista Resort was absolutely fantastic! The staff was super friendly, kudos to all of them. The food was yummy, especially at lunch and dinner. The resort have three water parks with lots of slides. Our room was huge, and the nighttime shows were so much fun. We felt the kids are safe with lifeguards around, and everyone gave us a warm welcome, specially the front desk team led by Mr.Hussain Sabry, the kitchen staff led by Chef Hamdi, and even the reservation team led by Mr.Michael who helped to sort out a complicated booking.com issue and kept us satisfied. I hope we can go back again someday. It was one of my best vacations ever!

Booking at one of the three Pickalbatros Aqua Vista, Pickalbatros Blu, and the Pickalbatros Aqua Park offers free access through all three. The big assets are the long and high water slides, the Pirate complex, and others for younger kids. Restaurants offer fair food. It's not exceptional but good for the price paid. It's self-service which makes it easier with kids. The choice is good with several different dishes: several meats and fish, raw and cooked vegetables, pasta and fries, Asian food, and Egyptian specialties. The resort is 300m from the beach. A bus rotates all day to give access to the Pickalbatros Beach Club. Waiting time does not exceed 10-15mn and transport time is 5mn. Note that a public city beach usually empty is accessible also. The beach is well equipped with buoys every 20-30m in the swimming area. Service in the hotel is excellent to exceptional! We had a personalized contact in the name of Abdelrhman. This gentleman gave us his WhatsApp and addressed all the requests we had during our stay in minutes. I think I never saw this in any hotel but Palaces. Very clever! Service staff in bars and restaurants is really exceptional: well trained, available, smiling, often multilingual (Arabic, English, French, German, Russian, Polish), and discreet. Outstanding! Rooms are very good. Large beds, spacious, mini fridge, water kettle, coffee, terrasse. Overall, an excellent family experience (5 pax) during 7 days. Kids loved it, and so did we parents. I recommend this resort.

Pools and water slides have restricted access hours: 14;30 to 18:30. That's short. The temperature of pools is around 28-30°, which for some may be slightly lukewarm but with an outside temperature of 38-40, it's perfect. Colorful pastries stand but are often slightly heavy. We'd have loved a French pastry chef to provide lighter and more tasty desserts.

First time vi visited the resort in Hurghada. And we where blown away about the resort with sportsbar, Gym, paddeltennis, tennis and football courts besides olympic pool and a cross fit box. The staff was amazing. Especially in the restaurants where waiters soon realized who we where and what we wanted to coffee was already ready for us before we came. That is good service and being aware of the customers requirements. The resort is divided into tree and I would never have chosen differently, as Aqua Vista was the more quiet one - but still linked to Aqua Vista blue and Aqua Waterpark. So you could choose to use their facilities within less than 3 min walk. Despite the quietness the fantastic entertainment team every day secured that we played Dart, did Zumba or water aerobic for 1,5H. and then closed down the music again. LOVED the breakfast with pancakes, waffles, fresh baked bread and fresh orange juice every day, and due to this we actually managed to get the teens up before 9.30. Lunch was also super good often ended in the pasta bar or with chicken sandwich And much different styles for the afternoon aswell. Shuttelbus was arranged to the beach by the hotel, but we didn't use it that much as the many pools was sufficient for us. Also went to Cairo for one day .. can be recomended if you have more than a 1 week to spend, besides snorkeldiving and Quadbikes in the desert (recommend the 4H trip that is sufficient) Often ended the day at the SkyBar and the resort closed by 23 where everything was cleaned during night for the next morning. There was nothing i didnt like or disliked. But it could have been great if the hotel also arranged shuttelbus to Hurghada City.

Several resorts joined together with many pools between accomodation blocks, water park on site for - ideal location for water fun. Spacious apartments with walk in shower area (we had double room apartment) and air con, tea making facilities, TV sets, mini fridge. Got invited to a la carte restaurant on site with live music - great attempt to add some luxury. Spacious Gym and outdoor cross-fit areas, olympic pool and tennis (both for extra fee). Reception headed by Mohammed was very responsive and had good command of english. Arranged a b-day cake for dinner. All requests were delt promptly. Free shuttle every 30mim to the beach (10min ride).

Billiards and table tennis equipment is poor (charged extra per hour). Lots of activities for todlers (kids club, day and evening animation, movies, disco, etc). Room cleaning service could have more attention to detail, especially bathroom (shampoo was always missing). Some staff at the bar and waiters were quite abrupt and ignored you (will have to pay/tip to get a smile or second run of drinks). Pools closing at 5:30PM (because life guards were finishing their day).
