Swiss Inn Resort Hurghada

The resort is beautiful, well maintained gardens and pools everywhere, picturesque view. Our rooms were very nice, we even got an upgrade from Ahmed at the reception when we were checking in. We were staying in the second line, for people who like a more peaceful environment I totally recommend this trade-off; you have to walk a little to reach the restaurants and the beach, but you have your own pool and bar, plus the wellness area is also located here. I totally recommend having a massage there, the therapists are awesome. The animator team is very creative, the programs they organise are enjoyable for adults as well, not only for the kids. The staff overall is very nice and helpful.

The food was okay, but not really high end, and there is no variety in the menus. I hoped we will have a little break from the various vendors on a private beach, but there were still people disturbing our rest with advertising tours/programs/selling stuff. I'm usually not angry about them, they just leave if you don't buy anything, but these guys were even pushier than the vendors we met "outside". I don't want to argue with people during my holiday about why I don't want to buy their stuff.

The location of our room - one minute from the beach - could not have been better; the room was spacious and kept very clean. The staff, without exception, were friendly, polite and helpful. We were spoilt for choice between the private beach and the two swimming pools, one with slides. And of course the fact of endless blue skies always helped.

It took some of us a while to get used to the food. One restaurant, Pebbles, had a good selection, the other four less so. But British/Western European travellers, especially those with teenaged children, should note that the appearance and taste of the food is a bit different to what you might expect at a European resort. Not that there was any issue with hygiene, it should be added. But there was a lack of burgers, pizzas, fried chicken, chips etc. Not a problem as long as you're anticipating it.

Just one issue, that all inclusive is not including alcohol, which is confusing. they told us there is soft and hard all inclusive, and on booking.com there is only soft all inclusive (soft drinks only not alcoholic). However, the manager (Mr. Ahmed) was very understanding and resolved the situation smoothly, so thanks a lot for that.

From the moment we stepped in to the hotel to check in Ramez greeted us with a smile and was very polite, he walked us through the check in process very efficiently, throughout the stay anything we needed was provided for us by Ramez immediately, he made the stay exceptionally comfortable compared to other hotels I’ve tried in the area. The rooms were also very clean and modern and the best part was that they were quiet. Also the bar and restaurant staff were very courteous and polite. Would recommend this resort for anyone that wants a relaxing and peaceful stay. Thank you Swiss Inn and especially Ramez.

Not much to say, maybe more channels on the tv as some TVs had more than others.

Excellent location, very nice sandy beach, nice and clean pools. Outside the hotel, many shops and other hotels with restaurants that you can visit. The food was nice. The hotel is all inclusive but we booked bed and breakfast. That was wise, as we paid very low prices for food and drinks of much better quality than they use to all-inclusive.

Main Restaurant was sometimes overcrowded. Avoid all inclusive and you”ll get very good service, very good quality of food and drinks in very good prices and you won’t get extra weight. We’ll definitely book again bed and breakfast

The restaurant is very clean, has a variety to meet all guests expectations. The Salad is fresh and there is more than one type of fruit available and it was fresh and delicious. Special thanks to pasta chef the pasta was great and "al dente". The reception personnel was very kind and helpful especially Mr. Emad, we enjoyed our room very much. The house keeping "Mohamed" was great he added and extra mat for my sofa bed because i needed one, he was helpful and kind all the time every day. We have reserved the Lagoona restaurant and it was great all the staff, I have enjoyed the grilled tuna very much special thanks to the chef. The hotel is really clean and well cared for.

There is plenty of place for every one on the beach but there were no much shade the parasols was not providing enough shade as it is a little bit small and the sun was passing through it. The guests are not following distance rules in the restaurant.

Everything was perfect here in the main hotel area ! The Food was excellent, all good quality and good choice . There are many places to eat. and no prebooking like other places ! Just turn up :) Fabulous staff all very happy and helpful. Our room was in the cheaper section, over the other side of the road from the main hotel , which was no problem , it had a quiet pool . work was going on in some of the blocks but it caused no issues for us . The whole hotel is immaculate ! The sea is beautiful too .

If you are expecting waiter service around the pool area in the side over the road from the main hotel . You wont get it even when quiet . But that was a minor thing and didn't detract from our enjoyment. Take care when booking on Booking.com .. we booked and hadn't realised that the all inclusive we had booked was a SOFT package .. no alcohol included .. this was not clear , but in the small print ! Check your booking !

The accommodation simply perfect, very spacious, clean, an impressive view. I would first like to thank the receptionist OMAR, a very nice and well educated employee. He did everything to make our stay perfect, always available and always taking care of every detail. We would also like to thank the beach waiter Ahmed (very polite and friendly) always at our disposal and our thanks also to the waiter at the main restaurant Abdel Latif for his friendliness and kindness to our family. Our stay was perfect, and we will certainly come back in September/October to enjoy this paradise even more with these wonderful people.

The hotel is a great value for money. Great location. Staff are great. Food was a good open buffet for the three meals. Clean beach (no rocks), great pool. Overall the hotel was really good and I recommend it and will go there again.

Nothing much really with the hotel. Except that when I initially booked through booking.com I didn't realize that the booking was for the second-line building across the street from the main building with the beach. This information was almost hidden when I was booking. The staff at the front desk understood my extreme frustration and accommodated me and my friends and family to rooms in the main building. A big thank you to the front desk staff and the Assistant Manager.

Great location with shops, bars and restaurants close by if you fancy a stroll out of the hotel. The staff, without exception, were fantastic. We didn't have children with us but it was very child friendly. The food was very tasty and piping hot - we didn't see a chicken nugget or a chip all week in the main restaurant, however delicious home made burgers/hot dogs were available at the beach bar. Perhaps in certain areas the hotel is a need of a bit of an update but because it's so immaculately clean this doesn't present a problem, and ongoing renovations/ redecorations were apparent. We used the hotel's taxi service to get to the marina and back - what a great service this was. Well managed, friendly atmosphere, great beach area and good value for money means we'll definitely be returning to this hotel. Well done to the management!

Wine is only available in the main restaurant and perhaps would have been nice to have a glass of wine in the bar at night.
