It is a modern building with all required facilities. The hotel is just 50 meters away from the tram halt and not 4 minutes walk as mentioned in the website. The tram is connected to Zurich main Railway station and Zurich Airport. The hotel is new and hence very clean and tidy. The price is reasonable . Will book again if we pass by Zurich.

Found only one small problem. The hotel is situated near the landing runway and hence slight noise from 6 am when these flights begin to land every 5 minutes. Noticed that they have triple glass window which reduces the noise to minimum. Good sleepers will not hear the noise .

If you know Ibis, you know Ibis. Think of it as a squeaky-clean, no-nonsense European hostel. You get a private bathroom, though just barely. Everything is functional and the space is well thought-out. Light switches are all in the right places. Just as the supermarket is the key to budget eating in overpriced Switzerland, the airport is the secret to budget lodging in Zurich. This location is 5 minutes by tram from ZRH airport and ~30 minutes to central Zurich. To go downtown, you can also backtrack to the airport and to catch the speed train to Zurich main station and shave a few minutes. All in all, not bad. Everything runs on time in Switzerland and the tram stop is across the street from the hotel. The airport also has a couple full-service supermarkets, a food court, and a shopping mall.

The location is not bad if you want to budget or have a flight in or out, but there really is nothing right around the hotel. You'd have to go to the airport, the next suburb, or the city.

The hotel and our room were clean and all as advertised. Would definitely recommend for lower budgets as Zurich is expensive. Getting to the centre is very easy and quick. Not much space in our room for three people but it did the job. Excellent location for town and airport, helpful staff, easy check in and check out. Simple breakfast but nice seating area. Hotel and area felt very safe.

Nothing really. It's what it says on the tin, budget without the frills and extra comforts. Maybe some extra pillows would have been nice for sitting in the bed as It's kind of the only place to sit. But we didn't ask for pillows and the may provide them if asked. Free tea and coffee facilities for guests would have been nice. Our 13 year old had difficulties getting out of the bunk bed because of the high edge boards and low ceiling. I would open up the end of the bunk bed by the ladder as It's not made for young children anyway.

The front desk man was for some reason nasty. People around us were getting upper floor rooms, he gave us a basement location. We are elderly couple, we have not give him any trouble, we patiently waited in line, for some reason he did not like us. He was not a Swiss born, maybe he did not like Americans. I objected to the basement location so he gave us a ground floor room instead. He told me, the rooms are all the same. I like to sleep with an open window. On the ground floor that was not possible. Next year we will travel to Zurich again, we will not choose Ibis than.

Our room was very good. It is rather small compared to other hotels, but as it is an Ibis Budget, we did not expect more than what was offered. If you are looking for a cozy stay for a night or two at a reasonable price, this is the hotel to go for. I would recommend it for sure. It is a bit farther from the city centre, but it should not be a problem as the Tram line 10 is right outside the hotel which will take you to Zurich city in about 25-30 minutes. And if you arrive by car, it makes it much easier. The hotel parking costs 20 CHF for 24 hours, payable at the reception desk. And you can go out and come in as many times as you please within the 24 hours. Be mindful that the parking spaces are a little tighter, but they should be enough. Reception staff speak English and are helpful. Good breakfast selection as well with fresh bread loafs. Overall, this is a good stay with clean premises and comfortable rooms.

Nothing an issue too big to complain.

We chose to stay at this property due to its convenient location to the Zurich airport. It is a 3 minute tram ride to the hotel. Most of the other guests at this property were doing the same as we were. It definitely has a hostel feel to it and there were a few "sketchy" guests during our check in. Our room was small but clean and quiet. We were able to order food from a restaurant delivered straight to our hotel room which was very nice. Front desk staff were very helpful. I would definitely stay here again. But be aware this is not a luxury hotel. But it is a great price and extremely well located.

Great location and close to the airport and easy to get to. room was compact but quiet and totally served our purpose for a overnight layover coming off longhaul flight. Staff were very good even whilst being very busy with a number of checkins

The only small comment I would make is in the instructions on where to get off the tram. It talks about getting off the second stop but it also refers to "Glattenberg" which we thought was the name of the stop. Being late and dark we couldn't see the Ibis and got off at Glattenberg which was the fourth stop - we had to walk about 15 mins back. Our fault but ideally if the instructions had said get off second stop AND explicitly named that second stop then no problem then no confusion.

Excellent location if you are flying in or out of Zurich. The tram station is right outside the door (Unterriet) and it's only 2 stops to the airport. Tram lines 10 and 12. It takes less than 5 minutes to get to the terminal. The room is basic but has everything you need. Getting into Zurich is also easy. Take tram #10. It takes about 35 minutes to get to Zurich main train station.

I found signing into the Wifi confusing. The app first asks you to provide your phone number so they can text you a sign in code, but you never get a text. You need to scroll down on the login screen until you see an access code field. That code is printed on the sleeve that your room key card comes in. Input that and you get connected.

The hotel is located near to tram stop (2 mins) walk so it is very convenient. We stay here because it is very near to the Airport and would definitely recommend you to stay here if you need to take a flight from Zurich Airport. You can reach the Airport within 10mins tram ride. To go to the Central, it took about 30 mins tram ride, which is considered reasonable. We do not have our breakfast included but I did order the breakfast add-on for 15chf. The breakfast started very early at 4am which is good to carter early traveler to Airport. The room is comfortable and has a toilet attached.

Loved the location. It's so close to the tram station and then also it's not far from airport, only two stops!! The overall experience was good. Efficient way of doing things for example how there were light sensors in the bathroom and the door would automatically shut and also didn't have to push the door in fully

I could have complained but it didn't bother me as much and wasn't there too long either. the shower had issues and the room temperature wasn't getting warm enough but maybe that was good for me because then I stayed in bed quilt and fell asleep at a good time at night. Blessing in disguise.
