Sleep Inn & Suites Harrisonburg near University

Location is great, surrounded by many food and shopping options and very close to highway! The Staff were extremely welcoming, and the bed was comfy.

I accidentally booked a room with a stand in shower & it looked like it could use a good scrub… We have a toddler to a tub is necessary for our stay, so my husband went to ask if we could change rooms, the staff was very understanding and moved us across the hall to a room with a bathtub! As soon as I walked in and looked at the tub I seen it had hair in it from what I assume was the guest before us, nothing major but still would prefer to not have to clean when I first arrive.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are large and airy. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean.

The name is misleading. It says "University" but it is not close enough to walk to JMU. You have to drive. There is nothing within walking distance. Having to drive everywhere when you're not familiar with the area that isn't fun. I thought the room was noisy. The exhaust fan and ventilation in the bathroom and the a/c in my room, the guest upstairs stomping around, loud music outside at 2:00 AM.

great location, busking and grounds well kept and inviting, very spacious bathroom, super comfortable bed, fabulous SELF SERVICE breakfast spread. the staff was super friendly and professional. While I could tell building seemed to be somewhat older, the style and decor was updated to a modern aesthetic.

very minor points: the toilet needed to be flushed multiple times for the paper to go down The rooms were brightly painted and very clean but still felt a little lacking in the over all style.

Cozy welcoming lobby area and breakfast room; well stocked and very clean, adequate food and service. Felt safe at all times even later returning at night 🙏🏽

My room was spacious but a bit dark (natural light blocked due to (nice) tree in front of window); done loud music around in room near me, subsided fast after I called it it, so correct & thanks!

Breakfast buffet (included) is typical, but of better quality than other places I've stayed. Choices change frequently

They have a great small gym, which is always unoccupied when I want to work out. They have cardio and basic circuit machines. They're a bit older, but still function as meant to function. They could update their equipment

Me and my girlfriend stay at this hotel once or twice a year when we take a getaway to Harrisonburg. It’s very convenient for food and shopping and has a movie theatre close by. The only reason this hotel doesn’t get a 10 is because the girl behind the counter acted like she didn’t want to be there and then gave me a key that wasn’t activated. However, my time spend in this hotel is normally glorious so I didn’t mind.

Beds and pillows were super comfy. Hotel location was easy to find and convenient to restaurants and interstate. Plenty of room & quiet in our suite. Staff was helpful and super friendly. Breakfast had a good spread and decently stocked (besides the coffee).

No extra cots available (we had a toddler with us who could’ve used one). Bright exterior light shining on our window. At breakfast, regular coffee dispenser was marked out of order.

Beds were comfortable, rooms tidy, location good and staff friendly

the only issue was that the breakfast area was not kept stocked quick enough so I had to keep finding people to bring more milk, cereal, eggs, spoons, etc. I understand when the eggs aren’t done being cooked etc but simple stocking should take place.

The hotel was great. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the hot breakfast and all the options. I like that the location was easy to find. There were plenty of places nearby for shopping, eating, and fun things to do. We will definitely come back again this year!

There is nothing that I didn't like. The room was great.

Breakfast was absolutely fantastic and far exceeded my expectations. There was also fresh offerings right up until closing at 10:00 a.m.

There's nothing in the hotel could have done about this but there were travel basketball league families the first night and it was a little loud. The second night was fantastic.
