We loved the location and the amenities. It was beautiful.

I wasn't happy that the reservation cost was not what we paid, when we arrived it was a lot more after lots of different fees. It was hundreds more, and i think the reservation amount is what you think you're paying. If not, the amount should be reflected in reservation so people know what to expect. I didn't like not enough toiletpaper in room for amount of people we had and had track down housekeeping. Also, I wish rooms had two bathrooms.

I liked the location of the room you can enjoy dinner on the beach and walk right out and be on the beach.

Michelle front desk clerk extremely rude to myself and other customers, rolling eyes, disrespectful comments getting off the phone stating “I can’t do this today” . Requested a pack n play in my reservation, she stated I didn’t! Ask got pack n play 4 times, 2 of which were with Michelle, finally received pack n play around 9pm at night( requested it at noon) . The pool is very small and they don’t have enough guest chairs, probably about 20 chairs and 4 cabanas . You have to pay 16 dollars per night ti park your car (ridiculous)

The location was ideal, and the view in our room was nice. The staff was very helpful. There was a very nice pool area and loved the resort feel. We all had a great time and would go back

The restaurant onsite was mediocre and the staff seemed very frazzled. I know it was a long weekend but I expected the restaurant and staff to be prepared for this.

The staff are kind and accommodating. The rooms are very clean. The upgrades are beautiful and it’s safe and close to everything. It makes you feel peaceful and you can enjoy the time you spend away from home. We call this hotel our home away from home. We won’t go anyplace else when we go to VA.

The price has increased so much since delta took over compared to the previous va suites and conference center it’s becoming less affordable to stay for a longer duration with family. Also, there aren’t any kitchenettes that I know of so we have to eat out everyday which can get expensive. Those are the only downsides.

We had never been to Virginia Beach before. It was my husband’s birthday on May 7 so we thought we would spend the weekend in Virginia Beach. We live in North Carolina. Originally - we had booked a different property and when we arrived there we were very upset and disappointed! It looked nothing like the images on Booking.com. We cancelled our stay and lost one night’s accommodation. ☹️ I then quickly got onto the Booking.com app and booked at the Delta Marriot and they had one room left. Gosh - we were so thrilled when we got into our room! We absolutely loved it! This was what we were expecting! The next morning we realised just how perfect our location is and the view of the ocean from our room was so amazing! A special thank you to all the staff at the Tin Cup! Outstanding service and the food quality is amazing! Don’t get me started on that Breakfast buffet! Delicious! We were so grateful that we got to spend my husbands birthday in a hotel of such a high standard.

Starbucks should stay open longer. It’s such a bonus that you have a Starbucks on the premises but it’s a pity that it’s not open longer. Most people are out during the hours that it’s open. Please provide shower caps in the rooms.

My room did not have a tub which we were not aware of. If it is a special room, it should be described so that we could change a room or at least expect it. We were surprised to see no tub. View from a room is not great but directly connected to a beach was beautiful. Pool was good too. Staffs were friendly. Service that I requested was prompt.

They seem to have a shortage on staffs. To talk with any staff on the first day, there was a long and slow line. Staffs were very friendly, though. We had to wait for 1hr and 45min to check in due to special circumstance that the hotel had. They offered a few things but it was very frustrating process and we all were very exhausted after 3.5 hr driving.

The hotel is very clean and modern, and the suites are very well designed, comfortable and spacious. The beach is lovely too.

As others have mentioned, the parking fee and the daily resort fee is completely unecessary at that price. They also charged us way more than what what we had booked months ago on booking.com. The elevators are also an issue - there are just not enough and you can see that clients get irritated by the waiting time. Also, this hotel being in a beach city, a bigger fridge in the room or a café that serves quick bites (they only serve coffees and croissants at the faux Starbucks) would be greatly appreciated.

That we were slammed upon arrival with $150 pet fee that was not disclosed when booking. First, it’s WAY too high compared with any other dog fee we’ve encountered BY A LONG SHOT. Most are in the $25 to $50 range with a reasonable average of about $35. Second, the amount of the fee was never disclosed prior to or after booking. The only hint was a statement that there MAY be a pet fee. That’s a long way away from, ‘hey, the pet fee will almost be as much as the room’. I think this obligation falls on Booking.com, and between the property and the app I think we are due a substantial credit on our stay. I think $100 is fair. Otherwise you’ve lost us as a customer.

Easiest beach vacation ever. Everything you need is right there, the beach, the pool, the bar, the music, the lounges and gym and Starbucks. We felt so spoiled here with all the extra touches that made this a great getaway. Downtown VA Beach isn’t too far but far enough to not get in the middle of the traffic and craziness if you want a quieter vacation but with all the amenities. The beach water was perfect to swim in, sometimes flat and sometimes small waves. Beautiful sunsets! Busy pool. And I like how the sofa bed living room area is separated from the beds by the bathroom space, so it makes the room more spacious to spread out. The No Frill Grill restaurant isn’t far and for 20 years now still has the best fish n chips!

The elevators were slow but we just took the stairs since there are many stairwells. Also a heads up there is a $20/ night destination fee and $25/ night for parking, so for our 2 night stay we had almost $100 additional charged to our credit card. But at least they do give $20 credit to the restaurant each day in return.

Hotel was very nice, clean. They are pet friendly but you don’t feel like your sharing space with pets. The common places are very well maintained. The staff was very very accommodating and friendly. During our stay we wanted to go out at midnight for food. The valet took time to give us suggestions of places that he enjoyed. We thought that was very nice of him. The manager Dominic was very hospitable from the day that we arrived. Hotel support staff were also very friendly.

The only minor inconvenience was that most of the ice machines were down so there was a daily hunt for a operating ice machine. I did visit during the July 4th holiday so maybe they were just overworked.
