The location is perfect! Quiet, and easy access to dining and shops. This is our second stay at this location. The property offers everything we needed for our stay. The staff is kind, and accommodating.

Our last stay at this location was in 2021. At that time the outdoor pool area was in need of maintenance (cracked, broken, missing tiles) and wasn’t the cleanest. It is in worse disrepair this year. Inside, the rooms were not the cleanest - dust/sand along floorboards and in corners, windows and mirrors were spotty, shower mildew. Attention to details and the outdoor pool area need updated.

So many things were great about this stay! The bed was super comfy which seems rare to find in a hotel The pools were great Staff was so friendly Beach setups being offered with cabanas was awesome Being the north end made the noise level almost nonexistent Food options near by still even though its in the less busy area Food at the hotel was mostly amazing Room was clean Has a great view Staff pops popcorn daily and it was probably the best ive ever eaten lol Store has just about everything you could need

Some of the food came out over cooked Pool could use updated hours. Outside closing at 8pm was disappointing. It could have also used a bit of a vacuum. But it is the beach so no biggy there Pullout bed was super springy, could use some updating there Level 3 hallways were super hot but it didnt seem other floors were that way. But not an issue really bc how much time is spent in a hallway? Need oversized parking for larger vehicles.

Our family loved the pool at this hotel - I think it's the best in VA Beach! Really fun for kids, with a small water "slide" and the rock waterfalls, and plenty of space so it didn't feel crowded. We loved that it was much quieter at the beach compared to other stretches along the sand, and beach access was super easy! They had cookies and popcorn out in the afternoons, too, which was a fun surprise! We'll definitely stay here again if we return to VA Beach.

The breakfast was an average hotel breakfast buffet - we'll skip it next time and visit some local breakfast spots instead.

We had a corner room which was quite large. Great view of the ocean. The kids had plenty room to run and play. Had a TV in the bedroom and one in the living area. Queen beds were really comfortable. Kitchen table and medium size fridge.

We stayed during the month of December. Was really cold outside. The bedroom and living area heated up very nicely, but since the bathroom is located in the middle, it had no heat at all. Not even a heat lamp. It will warm some if you keep the doors open, but still not comfort warmth. They should really put some kind of heating device in the bathroom for people who stay there in the winter.

Friendly Staff. Large bright and airy 2 room suite. Comfortable beds. Distance to the beach. Adequate outdoor pool and bar. Drinks were good and bartenders were attentive. Very quiet during our stay and views of the Sunrise were excellent!!

Onsite parking lot was a challenge and additional costs should have been covered in "resort fees". Furnishings were dated but were clean and in good condition. We ALWAYS re-clean when we arrive but thankfully found no issues overall. Additional linens/towels were promptly provided.

The room was absolutely beautiful and so was the beach. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen a beach this clean. The location was also wonderful, we’d never been to Virginia Beach but having the ocean and downtown right there let us enjoy the vacation instead of driving around. The room was also spacious enough for myself, my pregnant wife, her sister and her boyfriend, and a family friend to comfortably stay there, even when we’d be getting ready to go to dinner.

Honestly nothing.

The hotel is not new but very clean and nice. Our beds were comfortable and had everything you need. It's a great setup for a family vacation. The beach view is lovely and it was great having a view right into the ocean. The beaches were well maintained and there's a Dunkin Donuts around the corner. Lots of food near you but it's not in a crazy busy area. It was perfect. It had what you needed without feeling too busy.

The pool is lovely but it was ICY in early June.

Our family enjoyed waking up to the sunsets and have the beach at our back door. Such a beautiful view from the balcony. It was nice having a pool inside and outside. The staff was friendly, although you really don’t interact with them much other than checking in, getting more towels, checking out or ordering coffee at the bistro in the lobby. Room was clean. The bed was comfortable but the pull out sofa, not so much. They do offer a breakfast buffet but it was not affordable for my family of 7. So we went to local restaurants for a better value.

The room was $374 a night which is a bit steep. The rooms were okay but for the price I expected them to be nicer. Hotel rooms never look like what they advertise online, so I wasn’t too disappointed. They are pretty small though. The air conditioner has rust all around the bottom of it so I made sure to keep my children away from that area. The door to the balcony was very hard to open and close. The screws were constantly falling out of the door handle. There is an awful metal piece at the bottom of the sliding door that we all kept hitting our feet on. It was just annoying more than anything. All in all we had a good stay. Would stay again if I had the opportunity!

The room was very spacious. The staff was excellent. Very friendly, and helpful. The fridge was larger then normal. We had oceanfront room which was great.

I think that the room could of been been dusted. There were layers of dust on tables and lamps. We opted out of having the room cleaned while there because of covid. I think all rooms should have full length mirror. We went to breakfast buffet which everything was cold. That was a disappointment. I think there should be more handicapped parking in front of hotel and not across the street. There was only one spot infront of hotel all other spots were across the street.

The room was big enough for two people. The beach was not crowded. We have stayed at 3 different locations on Virginia Beach and this one is on the north end and it was the least crowded, but still within walking distance to shops and restaurants.

There is no restaurant onsite. There is a small breakfast bar that is open from 6am - 10am. There is a bar that is only open in the evening, too. Did not use either. There is a small 24 hour market that has essentials and some snacks. We did use it when we needed plates and utensils. There was no microwave in the room. There was a refrigerator and a small coffee maker. The coffee maker does not use K - cups. There is a microwave on each floor by the ice machine.
