This was a great stay and the hotel in my opinion provided excellent value for money. For a budget hotel, this Ibis hotel went beyond expectations. The room space was sufficient and the beds were comfy and we always found the room clean when we got back during all 3 days of our stay. The location was a quick 7 - 10 min walk to Colmar Center. The breakfast was great with good variety. And the hotel has on-site parking which can be reserved in advance. The real stars of the hotel are the staff here - they were extremely kind, caring and ready to help! Overall we had a wonderful stay!

Hotel se nalazi na svega petnest minuta hoda od železničke stanice i od centra Colmara. Savršena lokacija. Soba je bila besprekorno čista i uredna. Ako se odlucite za doručak cena je 7,5 eura na bazi je švedskog stola i stalno se dopunjuje, Sve pohvale. Na recepciji radi naša zemljakinja Verica kao i recepcionar Theier , koji su bili prijatni i od velike koristi,šta da obiđemo i koje restorane da posetimo,šta da probamo od nacionalnih jela. Takođe preporuka za Restoran KUNA dva minuta od hotela. Drži takođe naša zemljakinja Zorka. Bolju pljeskavicu niste probali sigurno ni u jednom restoranu. Sve u svemu, mogu reći da je hotel prevazišao naša očekivanja. Veliki pozdrav divnom osoblju od Branke i Tanje.

We checked out at 11am and wanted to leave our bags for 2 hours in the hotel, since our train to Strasbourg was at 2pm. I was quiet surprised when we were asked to pay 2 euros for each (small) backpack. The lady seemed to be also quiet unhappy that we even asked to leave our bags. We decided to only leave 1 bag and carry the other one around. When we came back, the same lady said she did not have time and it was ok not to pay the 2 euros. I found this a bit strange. If this did not happen, would have given 10 out of 10 points.

Excellent service provided by the staff. From the moment we checked in, the front desk clerk was friendly and efficient, making sure we had all the information we needed for a comfortable stay. The housekeeping staff were also top-notch, and when we needed anything, all we had to do was call down to the front desk and they were promptly delivered. Overall, our experience was great and I have to give credit to the hardworking and attentive staff. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

Walking distance to the centre was about 5 minutes. Situated on a main road there was some traffic noise, but didn’t affect us too much. The whole building was very clean. We opted not to have breakfast, but what was on offer looked fine. It’s a budget hotel so it’s basic not luxurious and perfect for a short stay to see the town. There’s plenty of secure parking space. The staff were friendly and helpful, we had a problem with our car and they were most helpful. We would recommend this hotel and would stay here again. Good value for money.

The pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable, so we took the duvet off the top bunk to make it comfortable.

The receptionist(s) was (were) friendly, helpful, and always available. The room was small but comfortable - everything a tourist needs. The bed was comfortable and guaranteed a good night's sleep 😴. The hotel is situated a mild 10 minute walk from the city centre - what more could you ask for.

There was not anything to dislike Everything ran smoothly, like a well-oiled machine.

The location is very convenient. Less than 10 minutes walk to reach the city center and about 12 minutes walk to the train station. I also appreciated that it was very clean and the staff was helpful.

The fact that the toilet, sink and shower were separate. The room for 2 was a bit too small, and I would also recommend equipping the room with a few more items so you can boil some water for a coffee or tea. But other than that, more than fine. 🙂

We booked parking, and were sent a code, it all worked well so a great start to our trip. Staff on reception was friendly and helpful, room was what you expect from a budget Ibis. Breakfast was busy, but plentiful.

The rooms are budget, but you pay your money. They could do with some updating and the beds are solid with very thin pillows.

Great price and exactly what you expect from an Ibis Budget Hotel - double bed with overhead bunk, sink in the room, shower pod and en suite toilet. 10 minutes walk from the station and even shorter into the Old Town. Good Internet. Staff were very friendly and food machines in lobby well stocked.

Check-in took a long time (presumably new staff being trained) and had to pay cash for local tax.

Thierry on the front desk was amazing, the heating had failed, but Thierry was really looking after everyone, the house keeping and cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. I have travelled all over the world, I have stayed in many 5 star hotels that could not compete with what is obviously a really great team who are dedicated and really put their heart into looking after guests. We'll done and thankyou.
