Hotel was exceptionally clean. Bed was very comfortable and a short walk to old Lyon . Staff was super friendly. Other reviews comments on the size of the rooms but truthfully for the price they are just excellent value. Not much smaller than anything I had in Paris for three times the price. Yes, the bathroom is small but it is quite functional and we didn't have a problem with its size at all. There is parking nearby for 20 euros per night or free parking on the street from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 a.m. Parking in the area on the street after 9:00 a.m. is €60 per day.

This petite hotel was an amazing choice for our 1 week stay. The room was quite small but cozy and had everything needed. We particularly enjoyed the tiny bathroom which reminded of a little toilet cabin in the train :) but it was nice because the hotel has its theme related to the Orient express train. We also liked the breakfast, it was quite basic but more than enough to start a day. Also the personnel was attentive and responsive to our requests. Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Lyon!

Our room was on the 1st level with a tiny corridor, but when we got inside the room, it felt nice. Comfy bed, good size room for near old town location. The best is being beside the brasserie Georges restaurant. Go to the hotel first before parking at perrache archives parking (1.9m high). Buy a discounted 24h car park. It's just 350m away from the hotel and my 5m long van got in, so good experience anyhow.

Im not a fan of cubicle modular shower & and toilet, but i have say that this capsule shower closet is probably the biggest or spacious one I've tried. Sink was narrow but deep so making it correct in size. Shower area was a bit lacking of space but hey it's a cubicle. No coffee in the room nor a coffee vendo machine to go.

The location is great! It is 5 minutes walk to the train station, bus station, metro and the tram. So it is easy to reach everywhere! There are restaurants and cafes nearby. The staff of the hotel is very helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

I know that it is a two-star hotel but it could be nice to have those paper slippers. I usually bring my own but I forgot them this time. I think sustainable hotels can create a system for the recycling of these slippers.

Excellent location to walk around Lyon. Very good buffet breakfast options to fuel up for the day. All the staff we spoke with were very polite and more than helpful.

As stated in previous posts the size of the bathroom is a little "snug" more of a wet room. Still serves its purpose and was kept clean. The flat screen TV was that but not very big also no English channels. Not a big problem just posted to save you scrolling through looking !!

Staff very helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast, but would have liked warm pancakes and croissants. Lovely window in bedroom. Good location near metro, tram and railway station and opposite the famous George restaurant.

Room and bathroom a bit small . Area around metro station felt a bit unsafe at night. Would not have liked to have been on my own.

Super nice staff in reception, ready to help with anything. Good value for money. Very clean. Good breakfast. Good location very close to metro (You only need to take the metro and change to a tram to go to the airport). Walking distance to the old town and to the shopping area.

Bathroom is a cubicle, so if you have a shower and then need to use the toilet, you'll end up with wet feet. That's the only con. If you're fine with this, then I would recommend the hotel.

Cleanliness of the hotel, great breakfast, friendly staff. Location beside train and underground, 15/20 minute walk from the old town. Area safe despite location. Allowed dogs. Great value for money.

Very old hotel in run down area, terrible view out the window. Bathroom very small but very clean and functional. But you get what you pay for and you get a lot of bang for your buck here.

Very friendly, pleasant and helpful staff. Good choice for breakfast and ample buffet service. Room and bathroom are compact, but perfectly manageable and clean. A quirky train/Orient Express style to the hotel gives it some character. Very close to Perrache Station with good transport links into town and beyond. Very reasonable price and definitely recommended.
