We did not eat breakfast there. We did have on dinner there, though. I thought the meals were a bit pricey, although the dinner was really delicious. The breakfast didn't seem worth the price. The rooms were very fun. Exploring all of the hidden storage spaces and the stairs to access the bed was very entertaining. Easy access to the subway and bus lines was great. We felt close to everything without being in the thick of the crowds and bustle of the more touristy areas.

There was very little explanation about the keys and how they work. For example, keys can easily become demagnetized. This happened to us more than once. The first time, we realized that our key wasn't working so we took the stairs to visit our friends' room. Only once we were in the stairwell did we realize that we couldn't get out without our key. Luckily, we were able to call our friends and they came and opened the stairwell door for us. But with a bit of explanation up front, this can be avoided in the future.

Zoku is magic. Great atmospheres, nice and crazy public areas. You cannot explain it, live it. Nice flat, smart and comfortable bed. Close to the metro station but central areas (Arc du Triomphe and Pigalle easy to reach by walking too). I tried also the restaurant, not so many choices but quality and service are good. To finish, I have found a great team of persons.

Just a couple of suggestions: it is not a cheap hotel so, my opinion is that the daily cleaning should be included in the daily rate. not as extra. About the breakfast, I think it could be improved. France is famous for the great patisserie and this part was a bit missing.

The property was brand new so that added to its cleanliness but the facilities were some of the most interesting and fun I’ve ever seen in a “hotel.” It didn’t have the feeling of a usual hotel and felt more like home. There was even a game room to play Foosball and a Nintendo switch in. A high quality little gym. The lobby is very beautiful with tons of relaxing places to work on a laptop.

The only thing I’d say is confusing is checking in. When you walk into the building the first floor is just an elevator, the lobby is on the top floor. You’re immediately met with a bar, which doubles as reception. You’re supposed to self check into a kiosk which has no visual indicators that it was indeed a check-in. I had to be educated on how to do it by one of the staff, which was fine but definitely caused confusion.

What's not to like about Zoku Paris? Great young diverse staff, rooms / apartments well designed to maximize the space, every little detail thought out, excellent healthy food choices prepared by young Colombian chef Guillermo, great live entertainment, cool game room, nice gym, musical instruments, and the list goes on! It is in a great area, not far from a beautiful park with good food options and out door activities, Martin Luther King Park, not far from Batignoles with the metro across the street, nice convenient store at the bottom of the building. It was a 99% perfect stay.

The cleaning of the room was not perfect when we got in and then mid way of our 6 day stay. They mostly focus on the bed and bathroom but didn't clean the floors midway nor when we received the room.

We arrived late around 12 pm and someone was in reception. Super kind and helpful. The room couldn’t be better. We spent 7 days and our stay was super comfortable. Everything very well thought, a different hotel. King bed spacious and cosy. Fridge, dishwasher and all the equipment for apartments. They left two complementary drinks as we stayed in our anniversary, that was cute 🥰 Air conditioner working properly, views amazing as we were in a 6 floor. Connections with transports and touristic places very good. Almost 20 min to get to places. Line 14 (very main one) and 13 in front of the hotel, as well the rec (train) super handy. Also in a safe area. Living room area with instruments that was cool, and fancy terrace with swings.

Food prices too high and we had to call 4 times to have cleaned the room after 4 days.

It has good facilities and communal spaces. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom and living room area were clean! There was good access to kitchen equipment such as pots and pans. Great that there is luggage storage for the day you check out

I arrived and there was a smell of tobacco in my room despite the venue being non smoking. I then found two lighters in a pouch above the bed, so my suspicions of smoking were confirmed. It didn’t bother me too much, but the smell was slightly unpleasant. The swipe cards for the lift were sometimes a little temperamental too. Overall I think it was a little expensive, but it has great facilities, so if that interests you, the place will be worth the price.

I liked the vibe, the openness of the rooftop, and interiors design, particularly the materiality of floors, shower floor and table. Loved the windows and natural light. Really enjoyed the books placed on the mini-loft too, very related to the mindset found.

That there were no paper towels or wipes to clean the kitchen, only one towel to dry dishes. The carpet wasn't really clean nor the couch, it was full of dust in the upper part. The bed area could be cleaner, found hairs spread. It could be better in that sense. I would rethink the staircase, since the foot area is for children. It's pricey for one-single person and doesn't make sense to have a 4 - person table when travelling solo.

The hotel is very "hip" or "cool" with a youthful vibe. The bar and restaurant upstairs were not cheap though. The rooms are deigned to make the most efficient use of the available space with an elevated bed and pull-out staircase and cupboards occupying every available space for your clothes and other possessions. The hotel has videos demonstrating how the rooms are great places to live and work for extended periods though I am not convinced many would use them for that purpose. A fun rather quirky place to stay for a few days.

The loft rooms were much smaller in reality than they looked in the photos. With the pull out stair-case, elevated bed and cupboards to make the most of every possible space it felt a bit like staying in a camper van.

The property is new and offers a lot for a longer-term stay. It has everything in the kitchen that you would need if you would like to cook some of your own meals, and had a bar/coffee/restaurant onsite with a fantastic view. They offer a great breakfast at a great value. They also have air conditioning which comes in handy in the hot weather. I also liked that the metro lines 13 & 14 are across the street which offer quick and easy access to all the touristy areas of Paris.

The property is not centrally located so getting to the location to-and-from the airport can take a while via car (heavy traffic) or long in the metro (many trains). Also, getting back to the location at night can be tricky due to the metro shutting down at 10pm so only options are Ubers and Taxis.

But an uber of 16euros will take you within 15 min to Eiffel tower etc. Also the metro is across the street. Right next to the entrance of the hotel there is a small super market. Once inside the atmosphere is very cosy, modern and friendly. The staff speaks English and French. The hotel and staff members are very kids friendly and helpful. The room was brand new, crisp and clean, spacious, and looked exactly as displayed on the pictures at their website. All the guests were also very friendly and well behaved.

The entrance of the hotel is a bit difficult to find. Only a small logo-board at their entrance door reveals that there is an hotel inside. The surroundings of the hotel is a bit boring. The breakfast is extensive enough but at 9h30 they always ran out of croissants, bread, cheese, orange juice, etc. The staff always refilled everything but it took some time. It could be prevented since it was always more or less obvious that the amount of food would not be enough for all the guests that still arrived to enjoy their breakfast. It felt like the staff was a bit understaffed in the breakfast area. They are certainly doing their best overthere. You can ask for fresh scrambled eggs with cheese, tomatoes, etc but it's not advertised at a display or in any other way.
