Room, breakfast and location were very good for us. We also liked to have an iron and ironing board. Also liked the possibility of having tea or express coffee in the room. Breakfast is very very good and dinner too. We emphasize the quality and good taste of the Wiener Schnitzel. Our congratulations to the reception staff, especially to Mr Roberto Kan, an extremely kind and helpful person. We also praise the lady who everyday received us at the breakfast desk with a gentle smile.

The blanket (or duvet, I don't know the correct name of the bed cover). It's too warm for the room temperature.

Very clean and comfortable beds with different pillows as an option to improve your sleep. Wonderful location close to Altstadt and Pempelfort with the beautiful Hofgarten across the entrance. The wellness is a nice bonus.

Some of the rooms on the second floor have a roof next to it with ventilation shafts and other obstructions making it quite moody for light and view. Luckily we were able to move to 4th floor which had free view thank you. The gym work-out mats have seen better times, but the equipment in the gym was excellent.

The hotel is really well located, and is clean and comfortable for the stay. The staff are always on hand and get things done efficiently and in a friendly way. Have been using this hotel for a few years now, and will again.

We booked the hotel with breakfast, but this had not been added when we arrived on the first morning. Not a big deal really, but this could have been a little better.

location is very good, room and the hotel itself was nice as well,

strange situation with breakfast,it was not included, but I was told that I can have it for additional price, when we came to the restaurant, there was none there, waited for 5 min desired just to start, after arrived the lady, after checking smth she said that we are not allowed to eat here as it was for “vip guests only, they pay much more”(quotation),again left to ask someone and then said it’s ok for today.on a check out ,I actually paid but after looking on bill I mentioned that the breakfast was not included,I went back and asked about it,and the guy said that yes,I have to pay extra (48 euros in fact) but didn’t give any receipt .breakfast was very poor and cold, defiantly doesn’t cost this money

Nice and friendly staff, close proximity to public transport and walking distance to the "Altstadt'. Also the river promenade is close and lots of restaurants as well as shopping opportunities around the Nord street. Good air-condition in our room (at 35 °C outside). Surprising: the neighbouring Italian Restaurant on the street had a few tables set up in the park till almost midnight.

Two things: - Would be nice to have some light curtains to lat light in but views out during day ours. - The the shower was in the bath tub which had high walls. A bit slippery for an older person with short legs. Some slip protection and a hand rail would be useful here.

April 2022

The hotel and the staff exceeded my expectations. Initially, I was very mad at them. I booked a suite months ahead. This stay was part of a long trip, my wife and I had many bags, and we like to have a decent sized room to work and rest. A few days before our arrival they informed me that due to renovations, the suite is not available and they have to downgrade us to a double room which is 33% smaller. They did offer it at a reduced rate, but I did not feel this was a sufficient compensation. At this point it was too late to find a decent room elsewhere, and we did like the hotel location, so we decided to swallow it and take the offer. After that, I was intent on penalizing them in review, but they did so well during our stay, and the hotel is overall so good, that I end up feeling that it would not be fair to give it less than a top rating. The room was nice enough, the staff quickly responded to (almost) every request we had, and the location is simply amazing. Many of Dusseldorf attractions are within 500m-2K from the hotel, so we walked a lot, used scooters, and for anything further away used the excellent tram system, with a stop located just around the corner of the block from the hotel. We end up having fabulous time.

We had an issue with the showerhead, which somehow slipped between the cracks and was not fixed throughout our stay. The hotel restaurant served excellent food, but is very pricey.

Lovely location next to the park, quiet leafy suburb, as close to being in the countryside as you get in a city center. Close to the Nordstrasse U-ban stop. A little quieter (good) than some of the downtown hotels. Many nice cosy local restaurants with great food, many choices for a week.

Bar shuts at 11pm, but there are so many others in the town that it doesn't really matter. Breakfast could have been a little more "exciting" (varied) despite good. Very minor quibbles, really was had to find fault.

Very comfortable room, with view over the park. Excellent location, 10 minutes walk through the park to the Koningsallee. Underground parking available. Airconditioning was welcome on this hot day. We did not take breakfast but there is a bar/terrace on the property where you can buy coffee.

We liked everything.

Great hotel in amazing location with a park nearby. Amazing place to stay with a dog. Staff is very friendly. There was a pillow, bowls for dog and some treats. Free tea and coffee in the room. Minibar for the reasonable price. Close to the river, shops and restaurants
