It is a simple hotel with good facilities and not so far from the city center. The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom had a nice bathtub. The bed was comfortable, and there was a fan in the room, which helped keep it fresh without needing the AC.
We messaged the property through booking.com, and they never answered, even after we insisted. Then, when we got to the hotel a bit late at night, the receptionist couldn't speak good English, which didn't make the check-in experience pleasant. The breakfast was expensive, so we chose not to pay for it.

I already stayed here for a night a year ago and booked this hotel again this time because it was surprisingly quiet at night, the staff was super nice and my room was very cosy. I had the same experience this time around :)
They seem to have raised the prices (or at least for the particular room I had this and last year).

Our stay was great. The hotel is a bit far from the city and because of the works on the street the bus station is realocated for another point in the same street, but with the end of the works the bus station is really in front of the hotel. At the moment its necessary to walk around 10 min until the next bus or subway station. The staff is friendly and the breakfast very good, the room is big compared with other hotals and the shower great.
The only negative point is that the rooms don´t have AC, and we got some pretty hot days in Hamburg, what´s not normal.

We had smoking smell in our bathroom and despite our complaints nothing was done as the hotel was fully booked. No fridge in the rooms and mattress a little too soft for my taste.

The room was clean and spacious and very silent even if it was on the first floor and facing the street in front of the hotel.
The hotel is a bit outside from the city center, but is well connected to metro and central station via some bus lines that stop just outside the entrance.
