It was just the best location. I had more hotels in mind but seeing them afterwards I must say I couldn't have made a better choice. Easy to walk from central station to the hotel. I would for sure come back here! And the most beautiful Christmas market across the street. Everything at walking distance and the restaurant was real good, very crowded but good food and beer.

We like to have a cold room, we could open the window but that had a down side if you sleep with city view the noise at night. It is the one or the other and we prefer to sleep in a cold room. Very soft pillows, a harder pillow would have made it just perfect! We got other pillows but as well to soft... but this is a personal choice / preference and nothing to do with the quality of the rooms / hotel.

Amazing location, centrally located. 15 minutes away from the Dom and probably 3 minutes away from a beautiful stretch of the Rhein. Amazing restaurant connected to the hotel. I recommend the Spießbraten dish. Free drink coin for the restaurant as well. Slightly out of the way of the tourist hotels, so there was less loud foreigners on the street. Clean room, good bathroom. Tap water tasted fine, there was also mineral water available for a price

No ac and there was a hum from the roof units outside when I opened the window. Kinda like whitenoise, so it wasnt terrible. Shower didnt have a door. Wifi was a little slow

Our stay at Hotel zur Malzmühle was amazing. Right from checking in, with a very friendly and polite staff ! The process was a breeze and we were able to get to our room in no time. The room definitely wowed us. From the moment we opened the door we were amazed by how well-put-together the whole design is. The bed, the headboard, the luggage holder, bathroom, shower,... Attention has been put in every little details to make the stay very pleasant ! Location is great, only 5-10 minutes walk to the center and very convinient with many transports available at the door step. We have gone to many different hotels but this one has really left a great positive mark on us ! We were also very pleased by how easy it was to have our luggage kept for us while we took a walk after checkout before we had to leave for the airport. All in all, a very pleasant, comfortable and incredible stay ! Thank you !

We enjoyed the Bräuerei connected to it so much, we stayed at the hotel again on our way back through the Köln. Probably will stay there again in the future. :-) The Mühlenkräuten Schnapps tastes delicious! Location near Altstadt and the Rhine is perfect. Parking is pay only, in the parking structure through the Heumarkt.

Location and staff were great

Rooms were very hot. No air con and fan was too weak to make a difference. Noise was very loud outside to have window open

The breakfasts offered in the hotel at extra cost are well worth it! The breakfast selections were varied, fresh and delicious.

Hotel is next door to their Brauhaus! Great food & beer next door! 15 minutes from Dom & Altstadt. Close to Tram line & U5 Heumarkt. Friendly staff.

Perfect location of the hotel, close to all main attractions, tram station and market square. You can reach the cathedral and train station within 15- 20 min on foot. Super clean, modern rooms, highly recommend it!
