Room was big, location great for seeing central Cologne. Staff friendly and helpful. Good breakfast.

Room 502 is right next to what appears to be the plant room for the lift which makes noise each time the lift is used. Thankfully the lift didn't get used much during the night. Also the lift only goes to the fourth floor so I had to lug our suitcase up the final set of stairs.

The room was clean and comfortable and quite cozy as it wasn't overly spacious. The addition of a stocked mini fridge was a nice touch. The hotel was about a 10-15 minute walk away from the main train station, other transport links and town centre. Close to a lot of amenities. The area was quiet at night so not much disturbance for a good night's sleep.

The only thing that I wanted to pull up is that Booking.com didn't indicate that I had breakfast included in my room rate. When I got there I was offered a paid breakfast but was unable to take it due to my early flight. I booked a rate I thought I had no breakfast but couldn't take the offer. I couldn't take the breakfast off as it was said it was included in the room rate.

Our room was reasonably big and very comfortable. The food at breakfast was good.

The hotel is not fully accessible as we had been led to believe by Booking.Co's site. There is a sizeable step at the entrance which caused difficulty in my disabled wife gaining entrance on foot or with her mobility scooter although later we found that a door to the breakfast room which was usually locked could be opened to provide easy entrance. The staff always opened this for us when requested. My wife was unable to take her scooter into the bathroom or use the shower.

Location is great. Service and staff very helfpul and polite. Room small but comfortable. I was missing a kettle in the room to have something warm during cold autum/winter days. It is also difficult to find the hotel parking, so I took one in the city centre parkhause. Thank you for the service.

Lack of kettle (tea/coffee) and free bottle of water. Breakfast was simple but OK. Great coffee, rolls. However not checked to be re-filled. So better you come early :-)

Staff so accommodating; room ready at 1400 and I'd only asked if we cd leave our backage. So helpful after a long flight. Shower roomy. Room big enough to repack all our cases. Comfortable bed. Coffee being no trouble to get even though we hadn't booked for the full breakfast. Although no room facilities for making Coffee. Easy access to restaurants and entry card system works well The receptionist was very helpful with our checkout too and kept our luggage. Reception had cover for a long period so always someone to help.

Nothing other than room a bit gloomy. But was November!

The room is spacious, tidy, and clean. You can see the view from various angles through the windows because it is located on the top floor. The location is also very close to tourist areas and public transportation.

Unfortunately, there is no air conditioning, so we had to sleep with all the windows open. There is also no electric kettle.

it’s a great location - there’s a shop 1 minute away, bars and restaurants are 2 minutes away, transport is just across the road, it’s close to the train station, etc. The staff are fantastic - they’re friendly, helpful, give recommendations if you ask and they were even willing to put up with my bad attempts at speaking german Wifi - the wifi is good. It never dropped out and the speeds were good, even with multiple devices Bedroom - the bedrooms are a good size, they’re comfy, the bathroom is a good size and comes with plenty of towels, shampoo, hand wash etc. I’m not sure if it’s convention but do bring flip flops for the shower The street can be a little noisy at late night but you can close the window and block out the sound (if you’re in a room at the front of the hotel like I was). Overall, I loved the hotel and koln and stayed for an extra three days. Thoroughly recommended ☺️

I honestly have no complaints

The location was amazing. The room was fantastic- very spacious and with a great view of the cathedral. and the beds were so comfortable - overall a very enjoyable stay.

There wasn’t anything we did don’t like

It was very clean, and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

It was further away from the train station than what we had read on the reviews. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, however the staff did allow us to use their coffee machine while we were waiting on our room getting cleaned.

Great location for a hotel not so expensive. If you don’t mind walking a little bit it will be perfect.

He had some trouble with the bathroom heater. It was making a strange and loud noise. Fortunately, the recepcionist fully understood the situation and managed to quickily remove us to another room.
