The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious and clean with it's own living room area. It was almost like a little apartment. The beds were very comfortable as well. The location was perfect for us! We came by train and it was only @ a 5 minute walk from the Cologne main train station. It's also located in the Altstadt (Old town) which is full of bars, restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

The room was great, but it was located at a level that was not accessible by an elevator. It was only 1/2 a flight of stairs, but it could be an issue for some people. They do have an elevator for other floors.

- We could hear noise from some night club nearby, if you have sensitive sleep might be an issue - no ramp (pandus) on the entrance. There is high step that means you have to lift your baggage, for senior citizens might be issue to overcome that step.

The location is amazing, a stone's throw away from the central station which is directly linked to the airport, Dusseldorf in my case. I could go around easily by walk to the old city center or to Messe area where I had some business. There is also a scooter/bicycle rental parking some 50m up the road which makes reaching point A-B faster! Staff was amazing, offered breakfast at an extra charge, but it was all worth it as it was very tasty and abundant!

Where do I start? This little hotel was so quaint, the staff so friendly, absolutely perfect location for seeing main attractions and just a block away from 4 Christmas markets and the river! Our room was spacious even had a little seating area with a desk which I used when I had to give a presentation for work one of the mornings! The beds comfy, the shower had great pressure, rain shower head and sprayer. The bathroom also had two sockets! (A novelty coming from Ireland!) The breakfast had hot food (eggs, bacon sausage) as well as the usual breads and cereals. Sparkling water on offer was appreciated in the morning after enjoying full days of gluhwein drinking! 😉

The bedrooms were relatively updated, but the hallways need be renovated desperately! The lighting is horrible, very dark with old yellow paint. It gives you a dread as you walk down it that your room is going to be dire. Fortunately, the room was lovely! All the hallways really need is upgraded lighting, some nicer wallpaper and a carpet change.

The location for Christmass Markets was fantastic, Just around the corner! Also staff and our rooms were fantastic! I loved it and just around the otter corner is the Rein Rivera and boulevard, train station is 10 minuten away, parking across the streek, taxi stand, the Dom 5 minutes walk... you cant get more central!

Well, it didn't bother me, but the are 2 bar/dancings on each side of the hotel. The are open till around 2.00 at night. I always wear earplugs so i didn't hear a thing. My mother on the other hand, now sings along with German disco music🤣 we were on the first floor, my sister was on the 3rd floor and also didn't hear anything. So for me not a dislike, but something to consider.

nice room, clean bathroom, nice shower. You can see the Rhine and the towers of the cathedral from the room.

Despite being on the 3rd floor with the windows closed, the loud noise coming from the nearby karaoke bar and another bar also nearby proved to be highly bothersome. Trying to get a good night's sleep before 2am was nearly impossible during both nights of our stay.

It's perfect experience, the staff is very good and friendly, she tried to help with all our needs. We arrived early before check-in time, but we take the night flight was super tired, she helped us making the early check-in and let us have a good rest to recover the energy for all day. Very helpful. The room is clean and comfortable which has everything, location super near to the rhine river. I recommend this hotel.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We were able to check in early as our room happened to be ready. The 24-hour desk was great. The room itself was lovely - really comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom that felt quite new. Everything was spotlessly clean. And the location is ideal, right next to the river which is flanked by dozens of restaurants and bars. Couldn't have been better. We'll be back again next year.

Hotel is ideally located near the riverfront. Very nice for walking and dining, as there are many good places around. The people on the reception are very welcoming and friendly, the breakfast is nothing special, but very good. Good hotel.

Nothing really serious, but wouldn't mind yo have an air conditioner in the room, as you can't sleep with a windows opened because of the noise.

Location is top. The room were spacious and well designed. Clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast was decent.

We were assigned in 1. Floor and the Karaoke bar like down the street was really loud. We only stayed 1 night so we tolerated it. I recommend asking a room away from the main street. It really tend to be so loud.
