Perfect location to explore Cologne city centre and the old town. Lovely modern interior and comfortable beds. We got upgraded to a room with views of the Rhein river which was a nice gesture. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious (we had a selection of ham, cheese, smoked salmon, spreads, eggs, fruit and freshly baked rolls). Highly recommended.

The a/c didn't work properly. It was locked on 19 degrees but wouldn't cool the room down. We ended up opening the window which was fine as it wasn't too warm at night and there was no street noise (we stayed during the week).

very comfortable - extra-long bed with lovely sheets and towels, good shower, bottle of water gratis plus a minibar, rhine terrace. prime cologne is not cheap, but you get full value for the money here. dom and railway station a very short walk away, also possible to walk to tanzbrunnen across the river. will choose again!

breakfast takes a very long time. we pre-ordered the night before for 10:00 and sat waiting for over forty minutes. to be fair, this seems to be true of all restaurants in cologne, so best to budget very generous time for meals and try to leave the new york city sensibilities in new york

Prevot Hotel was so much more than I was expecting. Friends and I stayed for the long weekend during the famed Karneval and the room could not have been more perfect. The location is FANTASTIC. A quick 5 minute walk (if that) from the Koeln Hbf, right on the Rhein, and directly behind Alter Markt. The room itself was stylish and comfortable. The bathroom is stocked with Rituals products which was an unexpected treat. The staff was beyond lovely. I truly can't say enough about our stay here. We are already planning for our return next year! The small restaurant on the main floor seemed lovely as well, we just (regrettably) didn't utilize it during our stay. But others we knew that had dined there said it was great (and it looks like they have a large outdoor space that looked really nice, that would be open in the warmer months).

The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The hotel is close to the city centre, to major museums and the Cologne cathedral. Also next to the Rhine. Has nice comfortable rooms.

1. It does not provide slippers so you find yourself walking with naked feet 2. Does not have a cable TV so a foreigner should come with a tablet to watch Netflix. Only German channels. 3. The menu in the restaurant needs to be reviewed as it contained dishes with a lot of allergens. I personally had a spaghetti with beetroot sauce without the walnuts that were included in the recipe. The spaghetti was not well boiled. 4. The breakfast is also very poor and needs improvements. 5. Outside the main entrance there was a full astray that smelled very badly and made a bad impression as the entrance is really nice.

Prevôt is a real find, everything about the hotel brought a smile to my face. Carmina was a great host and welcomed me on arrival. From the moment I arrived I didn’t want to leave. The rooms are perfectly furnished and decorated, with views out across the river, a relaxing stay was guaranteed for me. The restaurant was also excellent, both breakfast and dinner were enjoyed with a good wine list too, served by friendly staff. Finally, the location is perfect for a business or holiday visit to Cologne, you can literally walk everywhere and there’s plenty of places to visit around the hotel.

We asked for a room with 3 beds, and the third (sofa bed) had no sheets and no pillow, and there was no one anymore at the reception The elevator broke down and we had to carry our luggage two stories down at check out

Location was lovely. A 6 min walk from the central train station. Many little eating places right outside the hotel. A 15 min walk away from the shops for shopping. Super comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Upgraded to a river view and this was beautiful. The area is quiet very early in the mornings and then gets livelier when the restaurants open and patrons visit for meals.

No laundry service provided at the hotel.

This hotel was fantastic. We had a jr suite and a double for 2 adults and 3 kids (9,14,17). It was perfect amount of space. Decor and details were quite nice and rooms and common areas both were extremely clean. Beds were super comfortable. One room was on street and I was concerned it would be a little noisy but with window shut it didn’t bother me at all. We had both breakfast and one dinner at the hotel and found both to be good. While fire sure not a quick meal the service was very friendly and the food was excellent. This hotel hit on all of the major points-location, comfort, cleanliness and I would highly recommend it.

loved everything about this little family run hotel, or more accurately restaurant with lovely rooms. beautifully appointed and designed. the beds so comfortable that I wanted to move in permanently. the owner and staff were friendly and so lovely. everything scrupulously clean. rituals shower gel and body cream! wonderful!! Fabulous à La carte breakfast in the restaurant. I will be back!!

The location was excellent - less than 10min walk to the train station/cathedral and backed onto the river - which is a wonderful area to explore, especially in the evening. The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. The hotel is on walking distance to everything
