Rooms were spotlessly clean and well equipped with good beds (though desk area was small for a business trip). Excellent sound proofing. We had two rooms, one with a view of the Cathedral. Parking was fine (via car lift, which was a new experience). Location is good, easy walking to the main attractions. Breakfast was very good.

The gym, honestly they would be better off not bothering. It was part of the decision to stay there and the tiny gym (1 bike, 1 treadmill, 1 rower and a few dumbells) in an airless box was not up to expectations. There is also nowhere for a group to sit and chat or play cards etc other than the main reception.

The location of this property could not be better. It’s less than a 10 minute walk to all the biggest and best attractions. The hotel itself looks to be a newly renovated space. The reception area is quite beautiful and there’s a restaurant connected to the hotel. In the lobby they were also offering free ice cream bars which was a nice touch considering how hot it was outside.

The was one elevator in the hotel that didn’t have a stable floor in my opinion. Stepping into the elevator you would hear the floor creak and feel the hollowness of the floor. Additionally, I tried to order breakfast by placing my order card on my door as instructed but when I woke up the card was still there and not taken like they’d said. By the time I realized it was too late to reorder.

Recently refurbished, clean and comfortable hotel right in the centre of Koln, next to the Cathedral. Great breakfast and good car parking facilities.

We were told upon check in that the aircon wasn’t functioning properly, this meant opening windows at night and therefore being exposed to some of the noise of people on their way home at 3am

An excellent hotel, recently refurbished. Lovely room, with a nice quiet view of the old town and river. Location is superb; right at edge of old town and a 5 minute walk to the Hauptbahnhof. Excellent views of the splendid cathedral. Nice outdoor patio at the front. Comfortable sitting area down the stairs at reception, plenty of space. Lovely breakfast served daily. Staff were always helpful and friendly yet professional, very efficient. Highly recommended.

5mins walk to train station n alot of restaurants when u walk opp the hotels.surrounding quite n safe

We have deposited 1 luggage 2days b4 check in date and on the day in morning we deposit another luggage n made payment for the city tax. When we check in afternoon, the front desk sfaff Mr xxx asked my surname and given my password,he keep on saying cannot find my booking, return my passport n he attended to another guest. He shld complete my checking rather than asked my to sit n wait. Finally told him to check my given name as surname , got it. Alamak.

Location was perfect....just right in the middle of everything....mins from the cathedral....the old town with many places to eat drink and people watch ...also mins from high street shops n train station...made our city break in Cologne so hassle free...would definitely stay again..

Had Queen room ....bed bit small as we r used to a king ....cudnt see option for king ....breakfast ridiculously expensive but lots of breakfast options in old town ☺️ 😊

The policy of blocking the entire cost of the stay when I arrive on my bank card then Charging me the same amount when I check out is not on! Three days later and I still have €280 being blocked on my account by this hotel so I can’t spend that money I hate it when hotels do this no other hotel on my trip has done it Very irritating

Everything was excellent! The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and we slept very well. The hotel had air con throughout, which was such a huge relief in the recent heatwave. The location was central but quiet, staff were very polite and friendly, every area was immaculate, the breakfast room was really comfortable and had a nice relaxed atmosphere and the breakfast was extremely varied and delicious!

We didn’t particularly like the glass side of the bathroom, but it was fine and not as bad as I thought it would be - could easily have some stick on frosting applied to improve it. The room was a little dull aesthetically- a colourful Ludwig museum poster would be a nice addition!

Lovely hotel, excellent location, rooms clean and quiet and beds super comfy, breakfast is good.

between the bathroom and bedroom there is a glass window (with a sticker on in), but you can totally see through if you in the shower or in the bedroom. fine if your on your own but i was sharing with my teenaged daughter!!!! Maybe needs abit more thought!!!

The location is great! Our room was lovely! And, the front desk staff was fabulous!!!

The bathroom is large, the shower is great, but there is no privacy, whether taking a shower or sitting on the toilet because there's a see-through partition between the bedroom and bathroom. For some reason, the architect must have thought this would be a cool/modern feature, but it's ridiculous. I love my husband, but do not want to see him go to the bathroom. So, just be aware when booking a room, if lack of privacy is an issue for you.
